I was craving pizza so bad I our drive into Sacramento from Crater Lake and let me tell you this hit the spot. We ordered the 16" pepperoni and the garlic knots. Both were delicious! You could smell the garlic as the server brought them to the table and my mouth instantly began to water. The marinara sauce that came with it was absolutely perfect. When the pizza came out I was more than ready. It was perfectly New York. If you are the folding pizza type you're mission would have been easily accomplished. I chose to eat mine bite by bite no fold over so I can savor every bite. The crust was thin but crispy on the edges and the right amount of chew. The pepperonis weren't the kind I normally prefer (the little ones that curl up on the edges) but they were still very good and the edges have that crisp. The cheese, sauce and pepperoni ratio were perfect. We finished our meal with full stomachs and still have three pieces left. The service was the right amount of helpful but not intrusive. The decor was a super cool 80s movies and video games vibe. They had a great selection of video games and pinball games that I wish we would've had time to play. The service was good sitting at the bar but the pizza could use some fine tuning on the sauce and crust. If you want to steel the pizza customers from Upper Crust your going want to step up your game! It could be me but I really like a crispy crust and full body sauce. I eat out for quality not quantity. Our "Fonz" pizza reminded me of a boring frozen undercooked slices of fair pizza. There was not enough sauce to offer any depth of flavor to the pie. Dough was not good and undercooked for wood fired/brick oven style. No creative nor even tradional pizza flavors. Just basic bland yuck. Will not return based on food quality alone. Now, service was even worse! Person taking the order was very impatient and rude with my elderly Mother who had several questions before deciding what to order and there was nobody else in line to order either. There was no, " Hi, welcome, so glad you stopped in to try us out"attitude. No, "what question could I answer for you" attitude. Awesome. Got a whole pie, pepperoni. Garlic knots and a salad bar trip. All delicious. We got the large and it's way bigger than we expected. Decor and atmosphere are great. They've got some legit nice old school arcade cabs. Never even saw a ghosts 'n goblins machine anywhere when I was growing up. Closest I've felt to going out for pizza when I was a kid, right down to waxy to-go soda cups. Staff was friendly. Dunno where else to get decent New York style pizza outside of Celestino's in Chico. We live about an hour away but we'll definitely be back. read more

The Pizza is perfect! Fresh and juicy and made to order! Fast and delicious. For Ten dollars I can get a pint of Beer and a fresh Slice! Delicious Salad bar with fresh made salad dressings like Blue cheese and real red wine vinegar. I always enjoy the atmosphere and it helps to be very near a fun venue. The pizza we ordered had got messed up in the oven. We were fine sense it was only one slice and stuff happens but they let us get a slice of pizza to make up for the one that had got messed up in the oven, compensated our garlic twists and even gave us a discount. We've picked up pizza there twice now and both times it was delicious, the people were friendly and the price was good compared to some of the other local pizza restaurants. I've never had New York style pizza before Fratelli's so I can't give a comparison, but they have become our new favorite in town for the reasons above. read more

Fratelli's is ridiculously over priced and doesn't even taste good enough to justify the amount. Our pizza was underdone and fell apart when we tried to pick it up. I had to eat my slices with a fork because it would not hold together. I've had much better pizza for much less. I will not return again. read more

The bartender/ pizza server gal had horrible customer service. I don't know if she was just having a bad day, but she would not acknowledge me until after I was standing there after about 15 mins (no one else was in line), and asks "were you wanting a drink?" As if I wasn't trying to make eye contact and just wait for her the whole time....she didn't give me a receipt or even talk to me after giving me my beer. I wasn't even sure if we were done with the transaction since I used my credit card. Then I went and order a slice of pizza, which that dude was just not friendly. He wasn't rude, but was not friendly at all. The bartender gal had to serve me my pizza and just sets it on the table and immediately walks away, still didn't say a word to me. ( I didn't even see her bring the pizza, I turn my head to her walking away and saw the Pizza in front of me) The pizza tasted like it was the-heated from hours before. I can see a little later the bartenders shift is over and another bartender guy starts. I ask him where the bathroom is, and him just telling me where the bathroom was, was already WAY better customer service than the gal before. The only thing I enjoyed was watching the open mic performances and drinking a beer with friends. I'll give it a second shot to see if maybe it was just the workers having a bad day, but I get better customer service at McDonalds typically.... They really did a great job remodeling the place after buying Angelos Pizza. However, the pizza is nowhere near as good as Angelos Pizza was for like 30+ years here. It's more image-conscious hipster pizza that needs some work to be in the same ballpark as whatever Angelos was doing successfully for so long. I'll probably give it another shot in a while, but first try was not a great impression of the thing that matters - the pizza. read more

If I had it my way they wouldn't even get the one star. We had lunch there around 1 p.m. on a weekday and the service was lousy along with the pepperoni pizza that I had with its five pieces of pepperoni and the salad bar, what a joke. I paid for my pizza and salad and then went over to the salad bar and most of the containers were almost empty. I went back to the counter and ask if they would put more ingredients out since I had paid for the salad bar. I waited and waited and finally a young man came out with a partial container of kidney beans and that was it. They acted as if they were doing us a favor. I've been here twice just because it is a place to get one slice of pizza and not a whole pizza. But i don't think i'll be going much again after that. The pizza is trash. It's just the basic, plainest pizza you can think of. The only thing it has going for it is that it's a big slice and One slice. Decided to stop in before an event at the cascade theater. Ordered potato soup and garlic knots. Was advised after twenty minutes that we had not been forgotten and the soup was still heating, Another 25 minutes and we were assured the soup was almost done. 20 minutes later had to request a refund. Was told the soup still wasn't hot, but they were surprised we'd never received our second order garlic knots. 2 stars for the fact that we received a quick refund of the food we did not receive. A negative review, for the fact that mistakes happen but really? No coupon or comp our drinks to make up for the fact that our evening we planned out ended with McDonald's after the show at the cascade. Unbelievable. read more

First time in since they took over the Angelos site. We had the pepperoni and were very happy with what we got. Big slices, good crust and plenty of cheese and meat. The restaurant has an atmosphere for kickin back and relaxing. The staff is way too chill and not professional or cheery enough. Every dude working kept having to pull his pants up because they were falling down below the butt. One guy washing dishes which was in direct view of my table had pants and underwear down so low I saw a full butt crack and when he bent over to get something below the sink it was waaaaaay uncool!! Not very appetizing at all. As far cheery, not one server acted as if they cared they had patrons at all. I think you can have a laid back restaurant, but the workers need to look alert, happy and welcoming. read more

This is a great place. I love pizza by the slice and the slice is huge! Lots of options for a premise quick bite or to cook fresh. Excellent salad bar. Great service. Just got to experience Fratelli's last night and I was very impressed. Tried the BBQ Chicken pizza and the Veggie pizza, both were amazing. Very reasonably priced. You won't be disappointed with any of the pizza selections on their menu. The salad bar selection was definitely well thought out with items to please every tastebud. But..... I just have to say, you have to try the The Fonz.... it will keep you coming back for more! read more
