The workers were always friendly, the food was always solid, and I had never had a reason to complain. And then... I ordered an 8-inch sandwich through Uber and opened it up to find not one, not two, BUT THREE LONG BLACK HAIRS IN MY SANDWICH. Three. Not "oops, maybe a stray hair fell in by accident" territory. I'm talking about a full-blown hair trilogy. A hair every couple of inches like somebody was out here seasoning my sandwich with their hair. It was beyond disgusting. At that point, it honestly felt impossible to believe this was accidental. How do you get three long hairs in one sandwich, spread out across the whole thing, and nobody notices? Be serious. What made it even worse was that I was stuck in trial all day, couldn't leave to get anything else, and needed lunch so I could function through a long day in court. Instead, I got a stomach-turning surprise and basically lost my meal. I'm not even writing this angry as much as I'm writing it heartbroken. This was one of my favorite places. But after finding three long hairs in a single sandwich, I'm done. I can't unsee that. I can't unread that. I can't un-gross that. Sadly, this was enough to end a one-year relationship. RIP to what used to be one of my favorite lunch spots.
