The owners and workers of this place are extremely nice as well they treat you like family rather then customers! This is officially my first review and I couldn't be happier! We just moved to the area and are excited to be so close to pizza place we can love. The few times we've ordered from this place the product has surpassed our expectations. Recommendations point towards the buffalo chicken pizza! As a heartburn sufferer i would figure this one to be my enemy but have not suffered after the enjoyment. You won't be disappointed, I would also recommend the meat and nightmare pizza. The pizza is nice and hot and delicious each time we have ordered. Any friends we have had over have enjoyed the pizza just as much as we have. Why couldn't I bring myself to give five stars? The only issue I've had is the time it takes to get your pizza. Each time we have ordered for pick up we end up waiting a little longer than the time we are told the pizza will be ready. Thought about picking a local restaurant to eat at to avoid a chain, try something new, and explore close to home and spotted this in a little restaurant haven on Greenville ave. I got a calzone and my husband got the wings. In my opinion it was pricey but for the amount of food understandable, we just need to order more wisely next time and with our heads not our hungry tummies. My calzone was a huge half pizza(size wise) it was full of fresh and delicious ingredients. The wings were ok but flavored with a Mediterranean spice so my husband was a little disappointed craving regular wings and all. We will try other things on their menu next time which will give us a reason to go back. read more

I ordered a medium sized pizza half the fratello and half the nightmare. The sauce was too much on the Fratello and I barely tasted any chicken...it tasted like a cheese and bbq pizza only. The Nightmare was the half that got messed up. Being that I don't like pepperoni, sausage, or mushrooms I asked for it without, and extra beef instead, but hat request didn't get made and it had everything I didn't want in the pizza. I actually think the pizza is good and unique, live close so that's a plus. Unfortunately I found a very SHARP PIECE Of PLASTIC in the pizza I last ordered. I kindly called to inform management that it must have been a honest mistake, he says we done have any green plastic in the store. Was extremely disappointed with my experience at Fratello Pizza. We ordered a large meat lovers, barbecue chicken and 20 wings (half hot half BBQ) This is a pretty standard meal at these grease spots so understandably the bar is set pretty high. The wings were very lightly glazed and only contained an amount of meat that leaves you nibbling, not biting. To their advantage, they had a very interested masala type hot wings that had a great taste. The pizzas were very tasteless and the dough was raw. Considering we call the order in 20 minutes in advanced and had to wait 20 minutes for pizza upon arrival there's really no excuse for a raw pizza. The toppings on the meat lovers were bland, I've had so much better in ghettos of Northside Richmond, VA (DaVinci's, tell em I sent you). The barbecue pizza was accompanied with a bed of onions that were an appropriate duo of sweet and crunchy. Nice. Then the pie was met again with a raw dough. Huge strikes: When I verbally express that we will need not just more ranch, but a lot of ranch and I express it twice and you only come back with one small cup of ranch. Frugality for small stuff like that grinds my gears. But worse ... No tap water. After spending an unnecessary $60+, there is no public restroom we can use. "We have one, but just for us". In most states the latter two aren't even legal. I always give restaurants especially family owned restaurants the benefit of the doubt. This was just that bad. Because the way they prepare the meat, it produces the most pure tasting toppings I have ever come across. Every single bite of each pizza blew my mind, the 'Vegetable' pizza gives you the perfect explosion of fresh vegetables and cheese, the 'Nightmare' has the perfect consistency for all of the ingredients that come on top of it, the '4 cheese' pizza has some of the freshest cheeses I have ever had, and the most surprising one, the 'Nacho' pizza was so delicious that I had to eat my own words after I showed slight disdain when I thought of nacho toppings on a pizza. If you love pizza and your sick of the old cookie cutter pizza you are used to, you owe it to yourself to give Fratello's a shot. You will not regret your purchase. Wings were great. Pizza and mozzarella sticks were awful, but they may have been better fresh out of the oven. We ordered delivery and it took nearly 2 hours for us to get the food.
