Amazing service! The guy was super nice (we were the first of the new year lol) and extremely attentive! He was the waiter, chef and cashier! The restaurant and tables were clean. The food came or super fast and the garlic bread was DELICIOUS. The music was extremely pleasant piano music and wasn't blaring. He even turned it off when we stared watching kricket on the tv so we didn't hear 2 things at once. Amazing service!! I love this place and how attentive and kind they are. The Alfredo was nice too and I'm glad they had Coke not Pepsi. 10/10 will for sure be back again :)) read more

A warning up front: this place is no longer halal. The restaurant opened 2 and a half months ago, at the time of this review, so they're still working out the kinks re service. That said, the food was excellent and unique. I had a gyro wrap, and it's soaked in a sweet sauce that gives it a whole new flavor that I've never tasted in a gyro. I'm very attached to traditional gyros, so if it wasn't so fantastic I would have been disappointed. The owner is clearly passionate, and chatted with us about his culinary influences from England. Sigh. Cheese sticks were the most basic I've ever had. I called about the missing marinara and was told they don't have it right now. I wish someone would have let me know so I wouldn't have wasted the money. Hot wings consisted of a pool of sauce in the bottom of the container with plain dry wings on top. My family absolutely loves Fratello! It's in our rotation of fave places to eat together. They have awesome combos, the Meat Lovers and Nacho pizzas are our favorites (it's all halal!). I like that the pizza flavors are distinct, not at all generic. Also, the owners are very friendly, my brother had a grad dinner there and they brought out a complimentary dessert for us. Once when I ordered in and there was a mistake with one of the orders, I called and the guy drove all the way out himself (even though I had used Uber or Doordash) and didn't take the tip I offered. 100% recommend! read more

When we entered the restaurant there was no one at the counter. Okay, understood! We ordered a "spicy grilled chicken pizza", fries and Philly Chicken! Philly tasted okay. Pizza was awful!!! The cheese tasted sour and they literally dumped cheese on the pizza. Fries were pretty oily too. The manager was sitting next to our table using her phone and looking at us randomly as if we were doing something. When we asked for water she was like "you can take it from the freezer". I used to go here all the time for the meat lovers because it doesn't have any pork. All halal. The pizza was topped with turkey pepperoni, turkey ham and sausage, beef bacon and had thick crust with lots of sauce. Now not so much. I don't know if it's easier management or what. This isn't gourmet pizza. The pizza didn't have anything spectacular about it, but it's definitely a step above pizza hut or dominoes. Ingredients seem slightly more fresh but the dough is frozen, not handmade. Pizza was thin but could use a little more crisp to it. I don't know if it's because I came in an hour before closing, but the service was a bit lacking while I was there. The workers kept talking over us to each other in loud voices. Since it's been 6 years since my last review, I feel like I need to update. Based on my last couple of experiences, I'm knocking it down a couple of stars. It seems management has changed since my last review, which might have something to do with the decline in my satisfaction. I hadn't ordered from here in ages, but got take-out about a month ago. I put the order in online, where one of my pizza toppings was artichoke. When I went to pick up the pizza, I was told this topping was no longer available. If it's not an option, take it off of your online menu! Ordered take-out again tonight online and guess what topping is still showing available?? Anyway, I ordered a medium "create your own" with a side of mozzarella cheese sticks. My hubby can't do pizza so he went with spaghetti and meatballs. My pizza was fine - no complaints there; however, half of my cheese sticks went into the trash because the cheese had cooked out of them and I was left with hallowed-out fried bread. Seriously...3 of my 6 cheese sticks were without cheese. Also, the side of ranch and marinara I had requested with them were nowhere to be seen. My husband's sauce barely covered his pasta - more noodles than sauce on his plate. He also commented that his pasta was too al dente for his liking. As a side note, I ordered a few minutes past 7pm and received a text that said it would be ready by 7:52. I found it hard to believe that a pick-up order would take almost an hour, especially since the place was dead when we arrived. I'm very picky about my pizza, so it really surprised me how amazed I was by Fratello's Pizza. We ordered 1 large pizza, half nightmare and half meat lovers. I love that they pack their toppings into the pizza and then cover it with cheese instead of the other way around. And they aren't cheap with their toppings either. The entire pizza was PACKED! I've been to a few halal pizza places, and this had them all best by a long shot! Their toppings were super flavorful and their crust was cooked to the perfect crispiness. Not only was the pizza fantastic, the customer service was phenomenal, too! The owner was more than happy to make recommendations and accommodate whatever modifications we wanted. First let me be honest and admit that I have not yet eaten here. I did, however, have my car break down in their parking lot last night. I can say that the two men who came out (the owner, and I believe an employee) and helped me for about an hour and a half were two of the nicest people. I couldnt believe how quickly they came to my son and I's rescue and the extent to which they went to get my car running...including charging my car for about 30 to 45 minutes. Visited here 2 weeks go. My project was running behind, and I needed to keep the team focus, so I thought pizza would be good to bring in for lunch. I did not want to the chains because everybody has their favorite, so I used yelped and chose one that had 4 or more stars. This location did. I saw that they served halal pizza, and thought that would be different, so I went for it. They also served salads to go as well. The salads were huge and fresh. The pizza was awesome. The meat lovers pizza was so greasy and you have to look underneath the cheese for the actual meat. We made the mistake of ordering the chicken alfredo. It was 70% oil. To top it off, their customer service is horrendous. Tried to place an order over the phone and repeated myself 5 times only to be told they didn't have the item. After reading excellent reviews from fellow yelpers and a friend's recommendation we took a quick trip down the street. Its an italian place in a small shopping cente, we opted for take out. The entire menu is halal (pork free) and this I thought was going to be great disappointment. Wrong! We order the meat lovers and wow...Its amazing how alike the flavors are (pepperoni and sausage, coulda fooled me). The crust is not thin and not thick, it is the perfect consistency. Nothing is overpowering, they really have this down, not too much sauce just enough cheese. Here is a great pizza place for people that don't eat pork. The pepperoni, sausage, bacon is all made from Halal beef which is quite clever. The ingredients are made fresh so unlike chain pizza shops that use pre-formed dough, your taste buds will dance with delight at the homemade dough here. The topping are as fresh as it gets too! The service is very friendly and IMO fast delivery. Usually gets here within 30 minutes. Great local Halal pizza place. I love the way they do business. Small, low-key, serving the large Richardson Muslim community with pride. Not to mention they have the best pizza w/ meat in the area! I usually order pizza hut veggie pizzas but when the craving hits this is my go to place! They are a little pricey but it is worth the experience. Just be sure to look over your ingredients before finalizng your order.. some things are weird (like added fetta cheese on a pizza..... a pizza has 2 inches of cheese already....) lol! so just make sure you are a-ok with your toppings.
