Can't believe I've never been here and I'm always in the area! It's got some really good pizzas and appetisers! We got the furnace pizza (essentially a buffalo chicken.. trying to be healthy lol) and mushrooms for the appetizers we got the mushrooms with cherry tomatoes. Their pizzas are thin and crispy! Nobody ordered the "Volcano Special." It's not even on the menu. It's a rumor. A whisper passed between regulars who've seen too much. It started as a normal Tuesday. Slow night, maybe six tables. Then the walk-in freezer door jams shut with the entire mozzarella order for Friday's rush trapped inside, the POS system crashes mid-order for a table of twelve, and somewhere in the chaos a bus tub of dishes goes down like a bowling strike right as the fire alarm -- for reasons still debated -- starts screaming. Enter Jude Miller. Jude doesn't panic. Jude doesn't even blink. In one fluid motion, Jude pulls a bobby pin from literally nowhere, has the freezer door popped in under ten seconds, catches a falling tray of garlic knots with a bare foot mid-step (don't ask, nobody knows why the shoe was off), and starts hand-writing every order from table twelve from memory while calming down the fire alarm situation with nothing but a wet rag and sheer force of will. The whole dining room goes silent. Someone's phone is out recording. A toddler two tables over starts clapping for no reason. And then -- the final boss move -- Jude spins a pizza dough thirty feet across the kitchen, over the head of the confused new hire, and it lands PERFECTLY on the peel of the head cook, who slides it into the oven without missing a beat, like this was choreographed. The whole restaurant erupts. Someone yells "JUDE!" like it's a wrestling chant. A regular claims he saw the whole thing happen in slow motion. The Yelp reviews that night just say things like "witnessed a miracle" and "who is Jude Miller and why isn't there a statue." Management still won't confirm what actually happened. This is a solid pizza spot to go to after a movie from the Alamo Drafthouse. The margherita pizza has a lovely crust and tastes great. I was pleased about area surrounding it too - clean bathroom, pizza ovens when you walk in, pretty ambiance with fairy lights in the patio and great service! I was also really happy to find they have the strawberry hibiscus hard seltzer - it's my favorite hard seltzer and you can only find it in a pack. Anything brisket from the meatball appetizer to the Pitmaster is a guaranteed winner. If you're a crust person this might be for you. The pies here are thin. Me, personally, that's the way I like it because I hate the gut guilt that comes with thick or even regular crust. Here I can a full pizza and not suffer the typical consequences after it's too late. The decor has got some swag to it and outside patio seating is a great way to enjoy some slices on a nice day. On a cold day, though, the heat lanterns won't help. I lived in Richardson for a few years but never went to this place. Today I just so happen to be in the area and decided to venture into something else. I was not disappointed. The food was amazing. Appetizer: I had the garlic portabella mushrooms with cherry tomatoes. The taste and pairing of each really worked together to bring it together. Pizza: I had the wrecking ball. The brisket meatballs were thin and sliced with basil and mozzarella. It was savory with just a hint of the sweetness from the fresh basil. The crust was crispy but not dry like a cracker. Dessert: do yourself a favor and order the brownie skillet. The brownie isn't overly rich it's got a nice consistency not overly moist or fudgy. However the real star is the ice cream. It's a light creamy vanilla with cinnamon and a caramel sauce. It's not overly sweet but is refreshing. Futures note: try the root beer float. The service is good for what I want to call a hybrid between full service and quick service. You order and pay at the front and they give you a table placard and you choose where you sit. Most places where I've seen this model they usually ignore or skimp on quality of the service altogether. Here it's more still part of the experience. No one is rude they're attentive though they don't have to be. The actual location itself is chill which I think lends itself from its industrial aesthetic. It's humble not loud. It can be a place where you go have a beer or wine with friends or bring someone out for a lunch date, or a family dinner with your kids. The whole place makes it work with all those groups in there but it doesn't take away from anyone else's experience. read more

The service here is superb and probably my favorite part of the visit, as well as the excellent beer on tap. The location offers great seating, both inside and a covered patio. Inside has large TVs for sports watching. Inside you can also buy some creative merch. It very much has a brewery vibe though it is not a brewery. I like the feel of hanging out here. The pizza is fine. My companion liked it better than I did so I keep my high rating here. He also liked the brisket meatball appetizer. I tried it too, it tasted good. We love the pizza at Industrial and found ourselves on an unexpected date night Friday. We popped in just before 830 to place an order and snagged a seat by the fireplace while we enjoyed a drink, some great country music, and waited for our pizza. Our pizza came about 8:50 and at 9:01 the music shut off, lights in front side were dimmed and I was still eating my pizza. My husband finished faster than me, but I still had half my pizza left! We decided to ask the gal cleaning up near us if they could turn the music back on and they did. All the remaining staff was sitting in the darker front area and it just made us feel like that 9:01 everyone should leave! I understand being on that end of the night , but it was Friday and just minutes within closing. There was a table of 4 also still dining and I'm not sure when they left. We just felt really uncomfortable and left when I finished my last bite. I hope this can be some positive feedback to encourage staff to be more hospitable to dining costumers enjoy their delicious pizza ! read more

Went here for the first time about a month ago and the one pizza I had was good but there were some other issues. The AC was out or off, it was extremely hot and uncomfortable in the restaurant. We had to rush eating our pizza to get out of there, it was not a good first experience. They also had no ice, how are you out of ice? Nobody wants a warm or room temperature fountain drink. The single pizza took a really long time to come out as well, it was definitely 20-30 minutes. I wasn't aware that it takes long so it would be nice if that is disclosed when you're ordering.
