COME HUNGRY! I live…read morein LA but this was a fun way to explore Manhattan Beach while eating delicious food. Amanda was our tour guide and she was fantastic! She shared some history and tips about MB I never would have known on my own. My bf and I were able to bring our dog, which was a huge plus. The town is dog friendly to begin with, so 6 out of the 7 places we stopped at we could bring our fur baby. Each stop, we ate something unique. By stop 4 I was stuffed, but the food was too good I couldn't stop eating. There was a wine tasting which was a great addition. I would definitely do this again and bring colleagues, friends or out-of-towners!

Lauren and Amanda were our tour guides and from start to finish they blew us away with their knowledge of the city and the various eateries. Though this is primarily a food tour, I was very impressed with the time they also took to explain various unique spots throughout the city. From small shops to murals to writings on walls and the ground, they pointed it out and had unique tidbits about them. I could really tell that these ladies took their time to research to make sure this tour was exceptional and exceptional it truly was. I'm from the South Bay but I learned so much on this tour that I didn't know before! I also loved that they chose a variety of different restaurants. It was a very diverse offering and I thought this too was a great way to showcase the city. They really chose some family owned restaurants as well as restaurants that have a lot of history to the city. Everything we tried too was excellent. At the end they asked what our favorite was and I couldn't pick. Chicken wings, tacos, ice cream sandwiches...ahh I loved it all! I even loved some mahi sliders we got to try (and mind you I don't eat seafood but I made an exception for this tour because I trusted Lauren and Amanda's expertise and taste. I'm so glad I did because the sliders were delicious! Yes, if a tour can get me to eat seafood ...then it must be a good tour ;). I definitely would recommend this tour to both locals and visitors. You'll be sure to learn many things as well as get to eat some of the best cuisine in town.

I had such a fun time! The drinks we had at each place were so delicious and a great variety - I enjoyed every single one and I love how there were a few light snacks included along the way. I grew up in the area, but I learned so much interesting history about Hermosa Beach from Lauren that I never knew! I'd definitely recommend this experience as a fun way to spend an evening with friends or for a date night!

I was more than pleasantly surprised! Out of the three places we'd visited I'd only previously been to one of them. It was great being able to just sit down and take in a nice snapshot of each place while enjoying a delicious beverage. Each drink offering was different from the rest. It definitely made me want to go back to EACH place to try not only other drinks, but FOOD! It was nice to be provided with a sampling of each location....sort of a 'try it before you buy it' type of approach. I also learned a lot about the musical history of Hermosa. I'd only known about the jazz roots embedded in The Lighthouse, so it was nice to learn there was more. I like this tour because it really is something different. I would suggest leaving the evening open afterwards so you can explore more of the places on Pier Avenue or go back to the ones you just visited. It's such a vibrant location. Had a great time!

Our tour guide, Scarlet, was awesome. A local Angeleno, it was clear she really knows her stuff. She shared a ton of history with us, about downtown and Los Angeles in general. My favorite morsel was when the city was removing a bunch of trees from Pershing Square, Walt Disney took a bunch of them off the city's hands and used them for the Jungle Cruise! We started with an almond croissant from Pitchoun, then got pork belly skewers from Sari Sari Store at Grand Central Market, then we were on to Maccheroni Republic for some pumpkin ravioli, then tacos at Guisados, and finally donuts at Donut Friend. We walked 2 miles total, and enjoyed every step and every bite. Highly recommend!!

Totally not the guide's fault, but there was a bit of huddling under awnings and leaping over puddles throughout the evening. Also, there were times we wished that the guides waited to tell stories when we were inside, instead of standing in the weather. We were a big group and they split us into two - we started in different places and met up halfway through. Several members of our group had food allergies. The best part of the evening was the diligence our guide took making sure he accommodated the special diet needs, including some bizarre allergies. There were no slip ups or mix ups, and there was a couple of things everyone could eat at each place. The stories we did hear were very interesting, although it was really limited to a couple of anecdotes here and there. There was more socializing and sampling than touring and learning the area's culinary history, which was fine. We felt like the delivery could have been more engaging and the tour more interactive but overall it was really enjoyable. Good variety of different restaurants, and this was one of the only tours we could find that could do an evening slot instead of just daytime. Food was pre-ordered, and all the choices were really good. A great way to learn about the area and try a lot of different things, while spending quality time with groupmates.

I'm always very hesitant when working with new companies because you just never know what can potentially go wrong--and the pressure is just that much more intense when you have 10+ staff members involved. So I'm very happy that Rebecca and her team, Lindsay and Andrew, were able to put together this amazing event. Rebecca really understands how to bring everything together, from the initial planning stages to the introduction/start of the event + during the event and bringing it all together at the end. They're all very professional and have a lot of experience in this. Even the team-building activities/games were fun (not too geared towards extroverts, introverts will enjoy it as well). There was a miscommunication with one of the locations we were supposed to stop by at, but Rebecca was very professional and had an alternative option already planned (which turned out to be an even better stop). Everything still went smoothly and we got back to the office early. I can't imagine how much more perfect the day could have gone. I highly recommend all businesses take advantage of Do Good Bus. It puts so much ease on the planner because you don't need to personally reach out to organizations about hosting an event. I would most definitely choose them again to host a future event!

It helped set the stage for everyone to work together on our community service, which was supporting EnrichLA with some gardening at a middle school. Definitely a unique activity where you have fun giving back. Go for a ride!

Highly recommend. Private tours are the way to go and this is the one you want.
