    Ken at the gas pumps is always so courteous. 5 star employee. Definitely one of the better gas attendants I have had.

    Twice I've gotten gas at Fred Meyer and Ken has helped me. Both times he was very responsive and efficient.

    The pharmacy is two thumbs down. Understaffed and orders take longer than average to fill.

Sadly, many of the ones the DO have are not sufficiently trained -- although they are very nice people. Case in point: Today I was sent a Western Union transfer of cash. I went to Walgreen's. What a waste of my time. The computer screen was not adjusted properly. It was slanted far down as if a child was using it and could NOT be tilted upward. In addition, the touch keyboard often would not register what I attempted to enter -- sometimes as much as 20 paced attempts. Finally, I asked for help -- yet again -- from the Walgreen's employee who had first started helping me then kept leaving leaving to do something else. She didn't know what she was doing and bumped me out of what I had just spent 30 grueling minutes attempting to do!!!! A different store employee whispered, "You can go next door to Albertson's. They have someone trained who will do it for you." We went to Albertson's across the street and the wonderfully trained woman in customer service handled it in 4 minutes. Wow!!!! Also, Walgreen's closed their pharmacy. I will be very surprised -- unless Walgreen's improves how they are doing business and increases customer service -- they will be closing their doors entirely. If that happens, it will be a shame.

    There was a time when this was a professional pharmacy. Now, when they text you that your Rx is…read moreready and you come by to pick it up they may tell you that it's not ready, but invite you to sit and wait while they fill it. Then because you don't have time to wait you leave and call the next day and ask them to please have it ready for the next day. When you show up they will tell you that it's still not ready and when you ask why it's not ready after all of this hassle you may get the "millennial stare." The person helping you may say "So.. do you want us to fill it while you wait?" No. I want to know why it isn't ready. I want some accountability. What happened? "Uhh.... I don't know, but do you want to wait while we fill it....?" 0 stars. Absolutely ridiculous.

    I have been going to West Main Pharmacy for 16 years. They used to be top rated in my opinion, but…read moreover the last 3 years they have steadily declined! Such as giving out wrong price information for prescription medicine. The last straw for me was when I had a prescription filled there for my rag doll cat for allergies. The first prescription and price was accurate, but towards the end of the year the doctor called in another round of refills. I received a call from West Main telling me that the price would be around $11,000 or so I said how can that be? He has been getting the same medicine there for a year. The gentleman I spoke with said he would get back to me, but a woman got back to me and told me that the first medication and amount was correct, but those following were incorrect. I said are you telling me my cat has been getting the wrong prescription medicine for the last year? she said yes. I told her I would call them back. I immediately called Siskiyou Veterinarian Hospital to find out if there would be complications. The doctor said no wonder the medicine wasn't working. I had blood work done on my sweet Mufasa his blood platelets were high and at a dangerous level I called the pharmacy back let them know the complications that arose from the wrong medications. I was distraught to say the least! Of course they only offered an apology which doesn't obviously take away the potential harm that was caused to my 8-year-old cat. There were other mistakes I was told by a worker there that apparently the pharmacist there was well over retirement age and supposedly retired after multiple incidences! I was dealing with a cancer scare shortly after and I needed medicine filled Five prescriptions to be exact. I did not plan on going back there I was looking for a new Pharmacy but I needed to get these five last medications filled. I got a text saying my prescriptions were ready so I went in to pick them up when low and behold only one of them was ready. I had to either wait for the remaining ones to be filled which the estimated wait time would be approximately 45 minutes or they may not get filled that day at all. I said why would you call or text that they were ready? she says that's just how it works and she kind of laughed under her breath I said none of this is funny I'm extremely tired I need this medication. She said well then you'll have to wait for it. I stood there for almost an hour others were waiting and were disgusted because they heard our conversation. I then asked to speak to the manager the woman pointed to herself. I said so you're the manager? Which is the woman who told me I can either wait or my medicine may not get filled. She was uncapped, heavy set with tight, tight then sweats on where some of her belly was hanging out I only mention this because not only was she rude and unprofessional for a management position, she was dressed Unbecoming! I asked to have the owner's name she gave me the first name and said that's all I feel comfortable giving you. I said well I can look for other means to get it. I left there feeling overwhelmed and saddened that I was treated so badly and I was a loyal customer for many years...........
