One other item of note - this business will add on a 2% hospitality tax, a 2.5% take out tax and a 2.99% credit card surcharge to your bill (if you pay by credit card). I don't know if these additional taxes are manditory state or local taxes, but I would presume so. When the anti-tax morons scream and cry about property taxes and income taxes, this is what you end up with. And everyone is adding credit card surcharges now, so no surprise there. There is of course an additional sales tax added on the order, which I presume is the standard state sales tax. For those of you who are mathematically challenged, there is also an handy Suggested Additional Tip chart at the bottom of your receipt, if you are so inclined. There's a wonderful bark on this brisket which comes from a generous seasoned rub, low heat and a lot of TLC. Is it supposed to be fatty? You bet. Brisket is a tough cut of meat and fat provides tenderness, moisture and flavor. This ain't fine dinin' but the service from the counter is always welcoming and helpful. There is indoor and outdoor seating if you'd prefer to stretch your legs and eat here instead of waiting for the long drive home. The sides and sauces are very good as well.
