Don't get me wrong this place is SUPER delish, but sadly I wanted a specific taco and it missed one thing can't really complain but it makes all the difference to me. Drive thru guy was super helpful, so I ordered four tacos of potato and bacon with beans and cheese. I did not receive it correctly. It had eggs in it sadly with no bacon to be found, I'm fine eating them, it's just eggs don't sit well with me, but I can over look it due to me enjoying my breakfast anyways lol.

Great tacos. Pollo and fajita are awesome. Tamales are huge and nice for a weekend meal or add to an omelette. Drive through backs up, but goes quickly Love this place.

Ok so the tacos were excellent and well prices! Definitely authentic tacos. I had the el pastor tacos and I have to say this is probably one of the best places to get tacos in north Houston so far. Only thing I noticed is the guy who served my food wasn't wearing food prep gloves for sanitation. He literally made my tacos with his bear hands. I'm sure he washed his hands before making the tacos but how do I know he did? I've never seen an employee of any taco bar serve tacos beat handedly. I'm pretty sure that against health code. What's up with that? Hopefully the owner will get back to me on this post. read more

Great find! The El Pastor tacos are the bomb! They are loaded with a delicious sauce with habanero and pineapple. No salsa required.

We love this place. This is a family business and these guys truly make you feel welcome and appreciated. The food is literally as good as it gets. Even though these guys are working their tails off, they always seem to be cutting up and having a great time. It is easy to see that Mexican food is their passion and you will certainly know this when you are eating their food. read more

Fantastic breakfast tacos. There's a reason the line backs up almost on to the feeder road, and it has nothing to do with their speed of service. Glad they are in my area. The flour tortillas are perfect. Kid tested father approved. read more

Hands down THE best taco shop in the area. The Al Pastor tacos are a must for everyone in our house hold. Mexican and chorizo & egg are amazing. I'm a very picky person when it comes to menudo (as most of people are) it's a worth trying. Highly recommend this place to everyone. You will not be disappointed! read more

Made the mistake of going inside to place my order. No gloves were used to put my tacos together, no hairnets, no nothing. Just hands all over my tacos and everything inside them. Gross. And now they charge for their 2oz sauces? I'll go somewhere more sanitary, thanks. read more

Truly delicious and amazing tacos. Everything I have had there is incredible, and I've had about everything they offer. Their menudo is as good as I have ever had, and believe me I have had many bowls over the years. Freshly made corn and flour tortillas are fantastic! Prices are very reasonable and service is always very friendly. Absolutely strongly recommended. You cannot go wrong. read more

Great tacos, quick and friendly service. Limited reviews on Yelp so far but the place is packed and that tells you about the public opinion of the place. Limited seating and not fancy but the food is what I will come back for. Just finished my third taco and it was even better. Read the other reviews as I was surprised This location had only three stars when I first looked. Come to find out someone ranked them with one star due to the kitchen staff not wearing gloves. That was definitely not the case when I was here. Nothing but good things to say about my experience. The pic of the drive-through line seems to show others agree. I had a pretty bad experience at Freddy's Taco Shack. The first issue was the parking lot -- it's very poorly set up and honestly feels dangerous, especially during busy hours. It's hard to get in and out, and you end up waiting in awkward spots that don't feel safe. As for the food, it was just not good. The breakfast tacos were extremely greasy and lacked flavor, which was really disappointing. On top of that, the tortillas kept breaking apart, making it messy and frustrating to even eat. Overall, the experience wasn't worth it at all. Between the unsafe parking situation and the low-quality food, I wouldn't recommend this place. There are definitely better taco spots around that offer much better taste and a more comfortable experience. read more

I just love, love, love Freddy's! The absolute best breakfast tacos you'll ever eat! The tortillas are made fresh and are definitely the star of the show.
