The Lady that attends is very Friendly, I tried PORK IN RED SAUCE, PORK IN GREEN SAUCE, they were Delicious! We found this gem from our neighborhood Facebook group, and had to check it out after all of the recommendations. We came here on 12/29/22, and I see why everyone recommends the Taco House! They have such good breakfast tacos that didn't disappoint. Since moving to Houston I had been looking for a breakfast taco spot like the one back home, and this one slightly reminds me of it (such as being family owned, amazing food/tacos, AUTHENTIC, friendly service, etc.). We ordered the chorizo/egg/cheese, potato/egg/cheese and the Mexican blend. SO GOOD! They stuff the tacos as well so you're getting your monies worth (pretty big tacos). I live in Austin, but I ALWAYS have to make at least one stop here while I'm back in town. I love the carne en salsa verde. Their tortillas de harina are also good quality. I think they source them from El Bolillo (which is one of my fav bakery). Portions are very generous and affordable. The cherry on top is that this is a local business. When I arrived, there was no line. I was greeted by the servers but rushed to order and it was my first time. The server was a little annoyed that I didn't know what I wanted. If you don't care for onions this would not be the place for you, there are onions in seems like every dish. I just wanted cheese and cilantro on my tacos, but again that's missed with onions. My absolute go to for breakfast tacos. I'm pretty sure I've had 1 of all of them by now and have loved every one of them. Staff was very friendly and very patient the first time I went. My 7 year old daughter loves this place as well. So glad this place is nearby but would still Take a drive to go get tacos from here if they weren't so close. I'd say this is very authentic Mexican food. My favorite thing is their Picadillo . Probably the best I've ever had (and I lived in San Antonio for 12 years!!). I go there often since I live very close by. Pretty much have liked everything. I've tried ~ with the exception of their tortillas. Don't really care for those at all. Yummo! I order several tacos to taste test, because who else loves food options?! This was my first time ordering here through Doordash (so thankful for Doordash). I ordered a picadillo, chorizo and egg, potato and egg, bacon and egg, and lastly spicy potato taco. As you can see, I was not kidding the food option. The one thing I truly appreciate about this place is that actually charge an amazing price for breakfast tacos. Less than $2 except for the picadillo because it on was on their lunch menu but it was still under $3. You cannot beat that. I loved the freshness of the homemade tortilla, flavorful fillings, and tasty salsas. I will truly be a returning customer. I highly reccomend this place. read more
