They would not honor their guarantee because they said there was wear on the soles. That is what happens when you walk in shoes, the soles wear down. Just neighborhood dog walking nothing extreme. They tried to blame me for buying the wrong but I had them fitted at that store and bought from that store less than year ago. I am completely disillusioned with REI as they do not honor their own guarantee.

Blake was very helpful and brought us the shoes that Tamera said they didn't have! What are the odds! Lol!!! When another customer asked what her problem was we agreed she was little nasty! Dan did talk to us, telling us he's short staffed. Sadly, the staff he had "helping" customers don't have a common decency with customer service skills! Tamera should definitely be working at an Amazon warehouse where she doesn't have to approach customers. This is the second time I've tried shopping for shoes for my boys at this store over the past year…read more The last time we came here, there were just two people working and the store was pretty quiet. But it took a long time for them to find shoes... and even then they didn't have a lot of the sizes in stock. Then we went to check out, it was again a longer process than it should be. Then today, we tried again. Totally wrong move on my part. They had a smaller selection of shoes for my boys (ages 8 & 10) than they did a year ago, so that was a negative. Also, a lot of their shoes were basketball shoes -- which we didn't want. I asked the guy to measure my kids' feet to get the right sizes. When he was done, I asked what the sizes were. And honestly, it sounded off. So as he went to find the shoes we requested, I went ahead and measured them myself... and he was off by a size TOO SMALL with both boys. Seriously, dude. This is your job and you couldn't even do that! To say I was put off is an understatement. Then they didn't have any of the sizes anyway. What's up with the stock at this store. We left empty handed and will NEVER return.

Although the quantity is limited somewhat compared to the bigger Footlockers, you could always order a shoe from another nearby Footlocker or you always have the option of having the sales associate calling another store and holding a pair of shoes for you as well. Overall Experience: The overall experience at this store is average. The sales reps are fine depending on who you get. Sometimes I find that some of the sales reps are just constantly chit chatting with other customers/friends of theirs when other customers are waiting for a sales rep for assistance. All in all this Footlocker is good to get in and get out if you know what you want. If you're deciding on a shoe or need great suggestions from sales reps at this store I would recommend deciding ahead of time.

As we were waiting, we were not sure how long it was going to take so we decided to just buy a pair of shoes and so an evaluation some other time. We went looking for the person that greeted us and she said she still couldn't help as she is not authorized to ring someone up. So I asked, "I just want to buy shoes, so I have to wait until they are done with their customers? She said yes. I walked up to a guy and asked, can you just ring me up? He stated, "I'm going to ring up this customer and you will have to wait until one of the associates are done as I have 3 other customers. So, I just walked out and they didn't get a sale. What that associate could have done was - "I can ring you up after I ring up this customer!" I wish they had someone hat can just ring up customers that just want to buy and go. I was not going to wait for who knows how long just to buy a shoe. I won't go to this location anymore and just order online since I have a discount with my membership. I will weigh my options with other running stores when my membership is up.
