Horrible experience. I walked in with an approval from my bank. I specifically asked the salesperson to not run our credit. Not only did they run the credit, but they sent my report to a dozen different banks. They call it "shotgunning" the deal, where they earn a fee for bank loan referrals. I got a call from the sales guy the next day to beg for our business. When I said we were going elsewhere, he defended their actions, which made them look even more shady. ZERO out of TEN. read more

They're staff is nice, however, I Believe because I'm young and I was buying my first truck they took advantage. i bought a truck from them a little over a month ago and I've found lots of problems with it so far, the rear windshield rattles when driving on a bumpy road, when idling the truck shakes and feels like its loosing power, a few minutes after turning the truck off, it sounds like theres a rat running around the inside of my dash, and from time to time when when slowly turning i can hear a noise that a truck with only 12 thousand miles shouldn't be making coming from the front driver side wheel. I strongly believe they knew about all of the problems and went ahead sold the truck to me anyway. read more

So I went to get an oil change today that said $89.99 online special for 8 qts. When I got there I asked the service advisor about the price he said he has never herd of that special that he'll have to check. I've been going there for a while that's always been an online special. Last time I went they didn't acknowledge it, that's why I brought it up this time. So I get to the cashier so said that's not the price, I showed her the online special she said she couldn't do anything that I'll have to talk to the service advisor about it. At the point I was so frustrated I paid and left. The sticker on the windshield about when your next oil change is do, they didn't remove the old one they just placed the new next to the old one. Started my truck didn't reset my dash it said I still need an oil change. Worst experience will not be going there again. Lost my business for good. read more

Bought our 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 truck 2 years ago. Sure the salesperson was friendly and helpful.....BUT now that our truck is having issues it's like they don't want to deal with having to fix the problem! Our truck started making a tapping almost like with a hammer noise in front beginning around the month of May. Then it kept getting louder and louder (even shook the truck). Also, a "service ESC" and "service parking brake" with the wrench and the engine symbol showed up on the dash board. Went to Freedom Buck GMC here in Odessa (where I bought the truck) and was told a part would be ordered. Been there 4 times and no part and no explanation! January 17th... Bought a 2015 Nissan Altima on Saturday 13th. I asked if our vehicle would be getting an oil change or tune-up before we took it and a guy that goes by the nickname of "Q" said it didn't need it because it had just gone through an inspection. Tuesday I'm driving home and the service oil and oil filter light come on. I call Buick and talk to "Rustie" and explained to him what happened and he said well maybe they didn't restart the miles let me call Nissan "tomorrow"...since it came from there.... Well still no call. January 30th...17 days after buying the vehicle from this place and I am still having to deal with them... Seems like they didn't do their job correctly... They are harassing us by going to our home and looking for us, texting and then we call the GM Cory Thompson because the sales man said he was trying to contact us but somehow our phone NUMBERS got written wrong by them ...Cory T. seems a bit awkward and lost. He has no people skills. These people have no right to be showing up to my home! All this seems shady! As if we weren't hating their business enough now this! I used to do business here, going back when it was Jones GMC-Pontiac. I went in to order a vehicle last week and they informed me they wanted $10,000 over the build price of the vehicle. I walked out and ordered from another dealership 18 miles down the road with no ridiculous price gouging. Needless to say, I would never buy from this dealership again. DO NOT BOTHER. Can not put into words how terrible this "dealership" is. They ordered the wrong part (480$ wheel) for my Chevy 1500 which was 100% stock from the factory and then tell me that the wheels on the truck are not factory for the vin number. They proceed to selling me the wheel and say I need to order the right one and pay a 35% restocking fee for the wheel that they ordered incorrectly. Not worth one star. A few months ago I had gone in to trade in a fourteen year old GMC 2500 HD 57,000 miles on it. Made deal wrote a check for the difference in a 73,000.00 dollar Denali. When back to pick up new truck and there was hail damage all over it. I wanted a better price because of damage. Salesman said take it or they will fix the damage. Before I even started looking to buy salesman said there were no hail damaged trucks on the lot. I did not buy it. Got my title back and went to Midland where they showed me the truck had not come in until after last hail storm. Will never go back to dealer in Odessa. I'm thinking they fixed the hail damaged trucks and sold them as new. read more

I had contacted Freedom Buick GMC mid November looking for a truck. They have little inventory which meant they did not have what I was looking for. As soon as they figured out it would have to be ordered they lost all interest and started ignoring me. A few weeks later they called back apologizing. I had a quote that I was about to sign from another dealership. They assured me that they could beat it. I sent it to them, they looked it over and told me they would do 100$ under it but I had to come in right away. When I came in I was left sitting for almost an hour (sales manager took a long smoke break) only to have them come back out with a quote 2,000$ higher than the one from the other dealership!!! The "sales manager" went on and on about how that it isn't possible, that they would be losing 2,000 if they ordered a truck at that price. The sales department here are great. They don't bs with you about getting a vehicle. Most of all they surprise you at the end. With a better deal. I was so impressed. we ended up trading in our truck for a Camaro. Don't get me wrong I liked the truck. But when you have hip related injuries. A truck is not your best vehicle to have. So my boyfriend decided to get me into something more comfortable. I was just so amazed. The paperwork signing didn't take long either. We ended up with a payment almost $100 less, then before. They don't even deserve ONE star. I will NEVER purchase a vehicle from this place again. They are all money hungry and will do ANYTHING to make a quick buck. I was told by the sales person named GINA that my credit couldn't be pulled because there was a lock on my credit, so therefore I wasn't able to get the vehicle in my name. I check my credit score and there was 14 hard hits from them running my credit to other banks. I called and spoke with the man in charge of running credit checks, and come to find out I was LIED TO BY GINA, and they were in fact able to see my credit and I was approved through some banks. After speaking with said individual he stated that if I contact the creditors to remove these hard hits GMC will agree to it so I can get them off my credit. After calling all of these creditors HE IS DENYING THAT THEY BE TAKEN OFF, because I signed a waiver to get my credit ran. WHEN INFACT I WAS LIED TO ABOUT MY CREDIT BY GINA SAYING THEY WEREN'T ABLE TO PULL MY CREDIT. Also, their referral program is bullshit. I bought my vehicle and then I referred a friend, and she bought a car. (Which they screwed her over on as well) and I was told that I don't get my referral because her father left a bad yelp review.
