First of all, I'm only even giving these people 1 star because I have to. I wouldn't give them one at all if I could. These people are crooks!! I needed a pre-owned car and went to their lot. Their salesman, Angel, convinced me to get a 2018 Buick Encore. This car was supposedly certified through their service team. I had the car 3 days, and the check engine light came on. Took it into the service dept and they told me they couldn't help me because it had gone off. Came on again and they put it in the shop for 6 weeks. Didn't fix it because when I finally got it back, I went to Midland and while driving back the transmission started to act up. Put it back in the shop and now they want to charge me 9000.00 for a new transmission. I paid for this car on 3/19/2026 and have had it for a week out of that time frame. They took advantage of me. I will never buy a car from these people again and would not tell my worst enemy to buy one from them. read more

Santiago.. What can I say about Santiago!? He does his job like he should; he sells cars. But, to know what I mean when I say he does it with STYLE, you have to deal with the typical Odessa/Midland level of poor customer service and disconnect from "passionate about your job" on a daily basis, which I think we ALL do! First, about Santiago.. a week prior to my face-to-face meeting with him, I told him I was honestly in the middle of several things that needed my immediate attention a lot more than talking to him about buying a vehicle. He texted me a pic of his business card and left me alone. Once things slowed down for me the next week, I contacted him. We texted for 2 days about car/credit stuff. Then, we met at the dealership and it still wasn't smooth-sailing on my part. We weren't EXACTLY sure of the car.. Test drove several. We weren't thrilled with the trade-in offer..several attempts were made to make it just right. We weren't sure we could even afford the increase in payment..we were given ample time to think and talk it out. Santiago never once showed impatience. He spent countless hours with us and probably thought several times that he still wasn't going to make a sale. If he did think that, he never treated us badly because of it. There are 3 kinds of salesmen in the business.. The FAKE kind that you can spot a mile away and just want to run from. The kind that just, quite honestly, SUCK at their job because they weren't meant to do it so they have no passion for it. Then there's the third kind, Santiago.. GENUINELY nice, funny, diligent, comfortable to be around, and knowledgeable. He even offered to help in the future with bringing my vehicle in for oil changes if I needed it, or to just contact him with ANY problem, and he convinced me that he meant it! Everyone's experience anywhere differs from someone else's. But, to give a business 1 star when there are so many moving parts to ANY business just isn't fair, unless every single aspect of it failed. Just like when we go out to eat.. The waiter/waitress starts at 25% in our mind. It's up to them to maintain that percentage throughout our dining experience. If the kitchen didn't cook our steak properly, that's not the server's fault.. That's the kitchen! West Texas Nissan could be viewed the same way; many moving parts all working well together to maintain a rating of 5 stars: Santiago did his part.. 1 star Vehicle selection.. 1 star The "numbers guy".. 1 star Financing ease and efficiency.. 1 star Going above and beyond in every way to make us FEEL like we were supported throughout the entire experience.. 1 star 5 stars!! They like to play stupid games with you. Went in to look at a car I found online. They didn't even have it on the lot and said they can only get it if I am pre-approved. Well I played along, then they said they could only get the car if I put a down payment on it. They refused to let me see the car or even take it on a test drive before I signed the papers on it. This is not how it works I told them it was a deal breaker and when I tried to get my car keys back for my car I was going to trade in they asked me "why?' This is one of those places that sell you 2 cars...5of your friends cars and then they couldn't care less! I went in to get help on deferring a payment because my computer wasn't working. Steve (the manager) sent me in Jeep's office (finance manager) to assist me. He immediately states he can't help me...you have to have your e-mail and password (which I have). All he had to do was let me get into my account, let me click a button and done deal. Yet, because he doesn't want to mess with me. ..tells me to go get the page printed..sign it...and send it to Nissan. It was apparent that he couldn't care less. I have to start of by saying I have had a good experience for the most part on the purchase of my new car. Of course you gain features & lose features between cars. I miss somethings on my previous car but gained a few different ones on my new car. The WORST place to buy a car went in a while back and they treated me like I was an idiot and like I had no clue what was going and also with zero respect for my work I found a great car and after a joke of an offer I decided to leave because a place who treats costumers like that does NOT deserve my business and I somehow ended up on the email list after multiple emails asking to be removed I finally got a phone call where I asked them again to please remove me they didn't I have tried and tried just to get them to leave me alone but apparently the customer really doesn't matter to them so why give them your money? I bought a 2015 Murano and because of situations beyond my control it was repossessed. So after 6 months we waited to buy another car. We went the used car dealer down from West Texas Nissan . And they couldnt be nicer and we came out with a 2014 Altima. But thats where the happiest ends. I was told that everything worked on it. Nope the sunroof wont open. So we took it in and was told it will be done by Wednesday. Nope now they have to order the part. Now Im being told next week. Im sure not all of the sales people aren't bad,but our was I think he just wanted to make a sale. Thry gave us a car to use and of course one if the vents dont work. They said they would call me back in 3-5 days when the part they needed came in and it has been weeks, so I call them to see what is going on and they answer me with sass. My wife and I bought 2 cars from here at the end of February of this year. The customer service was horrible. We had a problem with the salesman,. He actually told us to F-off after the sale because I felt he was not telling us the truth about something after we had signed the papers. We spoke with The general manager and he basically said that the salesman did that because he didn't like being called a liar. Nothing was done to the salesman. Worst service department I've ever had to deal with, and it started before even making it to the dealership. I drive a 2011 Cube which had been used prior to myself, and it was causing me a few problems. Called the service department only to be disconnected and hung up on several times before getting through to a receptionist who made my appointment, but did not seem confident whatsoever in what she was doing. Upon arriving to the dealership at 7:30 in the morning, which the said receptionist told me that's the earliest appointment time she had, we saw they were not even open yet. Drove around came back at 7:45 and walked into the building only to find out they could not find an appointment in our name for today. They said they would still get us in today and would call us as soon as they found anything out. At 5:37 this evening, we showed up to the dealership to get an update and they told us they were just now putting my car in the shop and our servicer has left for the day. No apology, nothing was said to ensure we would be taken care of properly. I will need to make car arrangements for work the rest of the week. Very poor communication on their part.
