I took my grandson (19) to Freedom Chevrolet to purchase his first brand new vehicle on August 5, 2026. From the moment we walked in the door til the time we drove off the lot with his new GMC truck, we received stellar customer service like I have never witnessed anywhere before. My grandson was treated like a best friend by Sales Associate George Davey, Jr. Mr. Davey went far and away beyond the call of duty to make us both feel comfortable, valued and respected.....and we were purchasing practically the lowest price vehicle n the lot! I will surely seek out Mr. Davey again when the need for a new vehicle arises. But our experience only got better. When we went to the Finance Department to "seal the deal", we had the great good fortune of meeting Ms. Rosalind Holmes. She was beyond awesome. She went to great lengths to explain how the financing would work; but beyond that Ms. Holmes taught my grandson how to build and maintain a strong credit score AND she taught me how to improve my own. Incredibly valuable information for both of us. At 73, I never dreamed that buying a new vehicle would be the high point of my week, plus a strategic learning experience for my grandson; but Mr. Davey and Ms. Holmes made it so. I would give zero stars if I could. I spent two days providing this dealership with every document they requested (license, trade-in info, etc.) for a 2023 Wagoneer advertised at $44,688. After jumping through all their hoops, they finally sent over a deal sheet that included a hidden $3,295 "reconditioning fee" on top of the advertised price. This is a textbook bait and switch. They lure you in with a competitive price online, only to tack on over $3,000 in junk fees at the 11th hour. To make matters worse, they lowballed my trade-in value by thousands compared to every other offer I had on the table. If you value your time and your money, stay far away from Freedom Chevy Buick GMC by Ed Morse. They are not transparent, their pricing is predatory, and they clearly have no issue attempting to rip off customers. About a month after purchasing my 2025 Buick Envista, the check engine light came on with an Evaporative Emissions System error. Shortly afterwards I brought the vehicle back to this dealership for maintenance. At that time, I was told there was an impending recall related to this issue that would be addressed in December. The light was turned off, but only a few days later, it came back on. Concerned, I took the vehicle to a different Buick dealership and explained the situation. I was then informed that there is no pending or upcoming recall for this issue. At that point, it became clear that I had been given inaccurate information. This raises serious concerns about transparency. I was sold a vehicle with a known emissions issue, and had I been required to undergo a state inspection, the car would not pass until this problem is properly fixed. I'm not due an inspection until June 2027 and Buick I'm sure wants for me to incur the cost for this repair. I have documented this issue directly with Buick.com and am now sharing my experience here so other buyers are fully informed. I trusted this dealership to repair my vehicle and instead ended up with significantly more damage and a $10,000 repair estimate. I brought my car in for a specific issue. They claimed it was fixed. It wasn't. I returned the car, and after the second visit, the original problem still existed--but now new damage appeared to parts that were never part of the original repair. An independent inspection confirmed the damage was caused by the dealership's service department. Because of this, my warranty was voided for the issue--yet the dealership refuses to take responsibility for their own work. There is still a loan on this vehicle, and I am now stuck paying for a car that was damaged by the very place that was supposed to fix it. A sales manager tells us he will add a 3 year maintenance plan only to find out when I visit a closer dealership it was never added and had to pay out of pocket for an oil change and tire rotation. Having to call and try and figure out who that sales manager was from 6 months the day I bought the truck and being told to go up there bc they don't remember. I guess the managers will say anything and everything to a customer to get a vehicle sold but won't keep their word on the deal. This dealership is HORRIBLE. Do yourself a favor and read the reviews all of them. They are a very SHADY company. They DO NOT DO good business at all. I am a U.S. Veteran and they treated me dishonorably. I had to give a star to even post this review otherwise they would not get one at all. They lured me in with a non speaking english woman named Barbara assuring me that she could get me into the truck that I was looking for. Despite me being full transparent with her in the beginning in efforts for no time being wasted on either side because I am a pretty straight forward and open book with nothing to hide and a serious business hard working business woman. I was immediately passed off to a totally different person when I got there then bread crumbed the entire time, I jumped through all of the hoops that they asked of me only to have nothing to show for it. They took my $1,000, held my trade in car for 48 hours returned it to me on a flat and then tried to have me arrested so that they could keep everything. On top of that provided me a bogus receipt with no dealership information on it. Their employee called me a fraud and a liar when I never lied about anything I had no reason to. The first time I went to this god awful place was because I had to get a recall done and my state inspection. The worker said hed get to it "after his lunch break" then I finally got the car back.... 4 HOURS LATER for them to say because of the recall they couldn't do the state inspection until the recall was driven on for a couple of days but theyd give me a "free" inspection since I already paid for it this time. Then he started guilt tripping for a 5 star rating talking about how he has to feed his family and bla bla bla. I come back for the state inspectors with an appt and it ends up taking 2 AND A HALF HOURS! Then they of course tried to charge me for it. Then my emissions test got lost in the mail when sent to register so unfortunately I had to go back. I went in and told the desk lady that needed a copy and provided my name and my number and my cars vin number and she said nothing pulled up everytime. I bought the damn car from here I guess they keep absolutely no records of their customers. She then proceeded to tell me it's not their fault I lost it. I then gave her the state inspection paper from last time and she said that the advisors would call me "right after his lunch break" and can u guess what never happened? Yup no call. I asked what I should do and she said "just get another state inspection" so this time i went to kwik and can u guess how long that took?! TEN DAMN MINUTES. Please note the reviews referring to bait and switch style tactics because it's 100% true. Today I went to purchase a 2021 Silverado listed on their site for slightly above $45,000. Once test drive was over, I was slapped in the face with a quote of just over $51,000. I was then told that I was looking at the wrong vin number but I ran out, took a picture of the vin, compared it with the vehicle on website and it matched. I would much rather have been told the truth from the beginning and some accurate advertisement would have been nice. I will most certainly be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and would be glad to assist any other people who have been treated the same with submitting their formal complaint as well. read more

I traded my vehicle to Freedom Chevrolet Buick GMC two months ago, and they still haven't paid off my trade-in loan as agreed. This negligence has resulted in collection calls from my lender and damage to my credit score. My attempts to resolve this issue have been met with indifference. Phone calls to the dealership go nowhere - I'm repeatedly promised callbacks that never happen. When I visited in person, I was initially asked to wait 10 minutes, only to be completely forgotten. Upon following up at their office, I was rudely told they were busy with "other customers" and threatened that they wouldn't help me at all unless I went back to the waiting area. It's been two full months, my loan is now delinquent, and I have no idea when or if they plan to fulfill their obligation to pay off my trade-in. I had brought my camaro to get serviced since my bcm and ecm were reading that they were not communicating causing my engine to misfire and leading to a fuel injector not working properly .I had fixed the issue with the fuel injectors just needed the ecm and bcm retuned ,yet they didn't listen to me saying that they diagnosed it and nothing was appearing and that I needed to replace my fuel injectors when I didn't need to they wanted to just charge me 1600 just for changing fuel injectors . not also did they not listen some how a bolt that goes on to the engine is missing and my fuel lines bolt was left loose ,and still charged me 200 for the service when my warranty should cover . And now my map sensor and fuel sensor is also appearing now after this so called service read more

They supposedly had proof to back up their claim of it being damaged before entering their establishment but they presented none. They have cameras, why not check them and show the proof? I brought my truck in to get the ESC system serviced and 3 days later my service light was back on. I was also charged $200 for the service. After going to a different GMC dealership I was told that it was under warranty and I shouldn't have been charged anything. They also tried to charge me $630 to replace a serpentine belt which the other dealership replaced for less than $200. read more

My check engine light came on while traveling thru Texas. I was on the side of the road calling dealerships many stated I needed appointment for my unexpected situation, no walkins available. Once, I spoke with Freedom customer service I was advised to come right in they would diagnose the issue quickly. Once arrived greeted quickly by very friendly staff. Usher out of the heat and the service tech got all my information. True to their word I was diagnosed quickly and waited on site 4 hours thinking my car would be repaired that day. Our service experience was horrible from the start and my vehicle was out for 3 weeks with a severe lack of communication from the dealership. They are a big and super busy place. I waited in the service lane line for almost an hour. No one ever approached me. I was the second vehicle in the second to last lane. During this time, vehicles in first 2 lanes were getting checked in. Finally I exit my vehicle and wave down someone and they tell me the vehicle in front of me is stalled and to move to the next lane. (Wished someone would have told me sooner as cars who arrived after me were already gone from the other lanes). I move to the other lane and I waited another 15 minutes this time I was the only vehicle in that lane and still vehicles just now coming in were getting serviced before me. Lesson learned-do NOT use the far right lanes, you will get ignored. You need to use the first 1 or 2 lanes by the door. I ended up walking inside and speaking to someone. She ended up coming outside and taking my information and doing the check-in. All in all took about an hour just to check in. The worst part was it took 3 weeks for my vehicle to get fixed but with absolutely NO communication on the dealership part. We called everyday for 4 days and kept being told someone would call back with information. No one ever called back. We finally get a call back and are told the tech is on vacation. It will be a week before it's seen. I wish they would have told us beforehand because we would have gone somewhere else given the time delay. The "vacation week" ends. We are now at week 2. We call again, still no information. We get upset and ask for a manager. We are told they are not in and take a message. No manager ever calls us. We wait some more, finally get a call in that it's being worked on and we receive a number we can text for updates. Because no one ever contacted us to discuss a diagnosis, verify they could begin repairs on our vehicle, or give us an estimate we assume everything is still under warranty. (Luckily, it was but still the customer should be made aware of what is being done to the vehicle beforehand. The last time this issue happened my previous dealership called me after the diagnosis to explain the issue, next repair steps and notify me that there was no cost as it's under warranty.) The people at Freedom just said they are already working on it and I'm like I wasn't even told what the problem was, the costs, or if it's still warrantied). We wait a few more days for updates. This is the exact 3 week mark so we contact them via the text number and were told "your vehicle is ready for pickup". If we had not contacted them. I doubt they would have told us our vehicle was ready in a timely manner. This dealership lacks communication and places alot of the responsibility of asking on the customer. I would never go back to this place. When we picked up the vehicle, Ms. Olavarieta was super helpful, friendly and apologized for the whole 3 week run around. If you enjoy bait and switch and shady practices, this is the dealership for you. We worked with Belinda and Johnny. We drove an Escalade Platinum and an M5 Competition (pics attached) 3.5 hours to trade towards a new Suburban after receiving trade-in quotes. Upon arrival, the quotes were reduced drastically as they said they could not sell our vehicles, solely because their buyers were 1st time buyers and those with poor credit. Instead, they claimed they would have to sell them to a national auction/wholesale buyer. Not only that, we couldn't even take the Suburban home if we had been foolish enough to make a deal. It had a recall that needed repaired first. It was also priced $5k over their listing for it in CarTrader. They also overquoted our local taxes by $4000 and said we would get a 10% interest rate with an excellent score (770). We ended up getting 7% elsewhere and sold both vehicles to separate dealerships for a total of $6k more. One dealership drove from MO to pick it up. Freedom also asked why we even wanted a 4x4 and why I ever bought an M5 Competition ...yeah who wants a 650hp all wheel drive Hellcat killer? They made personal digs and tried to leverage our warranty return $ as a benefit in their deal...that is our business and has nothing to do with them...what a joke. On Monday March 20,2023 I had an appointment for my 2022 Tahoe's safety recall with service advisor, Michelle. I arrive and am informed Michelle is "off" today. Strange, since two days prior I had made said appointment over the phone and was assigned her. I'm told to wait outside and a new service advisor will come out. 20 minutes after being in the cold, I call the front desk and ask where the advisor is, they said they were coming shortly. Another 20 minutes (now we are at 40 minutes past arrival time) Mario Mendoza finally shows up. I ask why Michelle wasn't here and he says she hasn't been here all day. I ask if she called out. He (annoyed now) asks if we want his help. I tell him we waited 40 minutes out here because Michelle wasn't at work today. He has no reply. No apology, no explanation for the delay. They is no need for customers, much less customers with appointments to wait outside 40 minutes to sign in. 10 minutes is more than enough time for someone to get signed in. I walk in to lobby and see over a dozen workers not doing a damn thing, just staring down at their phones. As the photos show the truck was ready at 12:25 Mario Mendoza didn't give me the keys until 12:55. Petty. I know his defense will be he called us over the speaker which you can't even hear in the cold central-heat missing lobby. It took 2 hours and 40 minutes from start to finish. Two hour wait once they had truck in back and 40 minutes in cold for service advisor to come out. For managment, don't bother replying with your copy/pasted generic insincere apology. Also don't ask me to call you to further speak with "managment" to resolve this poor customer service. The entire experience was unprofessional and a waste of time. I called the dealership they said they had the car i went into test drive it they said they did a car inspection and everything was so called fine they needed to replace the tires so i did the paperwork and waited for them to finish and then i was off i purchased a used Chevy traverse. ( i also purchased the extended warranty for the used car the highest package they have as the sales guy kept saying how important it was to have in case anything was to happen) ( THAT RIGHT THERE SHOULD'VE BEEN A RED FLAG TO ME, but i was just excited to get home and take the car to my family as my wife was due a couple days later )the next day i was on my own back to Colorado, driving through texas i made a stop in Amarillo , Tx to put gas in the middle of the night and when j went to reverse my car jerked as if it was stuck in a gear and it wouldn't reverse mind you its late at night in the middle of nowhere, i finally was able to get the car to drive forward and anywhere i stopped at i made sure i was able to drive forward and not need to reverse because my reverse gear wasn't working ( i have videos of it not working) mind you it hasn't even been 24hrs since i bought this car. I couldn't call the dealership as it was nighttime, i made it to Colorado after 16hrs and the car still wouldn't go into the reverse gear, when i arrived home i called the dealership they advised i get it taken into a chevy dealership so i got it towed to a chevy dealership here in Colorado the dealership i took it to said the car was never checked the fluids for the engine was horrible ( i have images proving how bad it was) they got in contact with Marcus from Freedom Chevrolet explained what happened Marcus said we needed a second opinion on this situation so we got it towed to another chevy dealership in Colorado they test drove it and heard and saw how hard it would shift whenever trying to go into reverse, so they called the dealership back at home and explained what happened and now the dealership back at home wants no part of paying and taking any responsibility for covering the cost of a new transmission they said call the extended warranty its been 2 months since we've purchased this car and we have yet had it, its been in the dealership since the day we brought it home we only had the car for 24hrs and since then we haven't even had it. ( We also have documents showing the mileage they sold us the vehicle apparently had didn't add up the Odometer read 89,616 mi when i purchased the car ( shows on paperwork) when i took it in the dealership in Colorado they did paperwork and the Odometer read 89,258. I initially saw a car listed on Cars.com and the price was great so I contacted the dealership about it. I received a quote that matched the ad quote directly from the dealership in separate emails. I was excited so I spent a couple of hours trying to confirm this truck was still available and trying to set up a visit before I drove out there. When I finally spoke to someone, they quoted nearly 4K over the emailed price and said the dealership would not honor the emailed quote. I emailed asking them to confirm that the representative that I spoke to was accurate and and let me know that the price emailed to me would not be honored. They have still not replied hours later. I came on here to see if it was a fluke or if this is a common theme. I never comment on these, but it seems like it's a blessing that I didn't drive out there and I got the run around before I wasted a trip. I like to give places the benefit of the doubt and so don't talk trash bc everyone is entitled to a bad day, but I wanted to share my experience bc I don't like shady business. Hard working people don't deserve to get a run around and have finances played with when they are trying to make major purchases and that seems to be a repeating pattern from the other comments I have read.. Deceptive marketing, false advertising. Wouldn't recommend. Originally emailed to verify price because it seemed too good to be true, if I would have talked to someone and was told price was a mistake, that would have been the end of it, mistakes happen, I get it, but I talked to multiple people about truck, sales person Letty verified price over the phone of $54,227 minus whatever factory incentives I didn't qualify for that came to a total of $2500 and a "freedom package" that included spray bed liner and some other items, said truck was in stock was then sent email with advertised price clearly listed, was asked to send my info, copy of identification to purchase as well as asked if I had already filled out a financing qualification doc. Jonny the manager then called and said that price didn't exist after I shared my info. This was the price listed on car guru's As well as their own dealer website. The level of customer service that is acceptable at this store is disgusting. As someone who spent nearly a decade as a finance manager, this location should be forced to sell to new owners. The entire management staff needs to be fired. We recently test drove a vehicle and we're passed around to several salesmen before one would help us. We left. I gave them another chance for some accessories. I spoke to a guy in parts about some headphones and accessories for my entertainment system in my Suburban that we just bought from somewhere else because of how we were treated from sales. He was really short with me and very unhelpful and then when he discovered I wasn't going to beg him to order some for me, hung up on me. DO NOT SHOP HERE FOR ANY REASON. read more

I have purchased two vehicles here from the same salesperson and went to the same finance manager and had the same amazing experience. Oliver Summons shoots it straight and tells it how it is. ALL dealerships will let you sign for what you want to spend so you have to be an educated buyer. That said this is the only dealership where I legitimately trust the men behind the desks I talk to. Most of the low ratings seem have to do with service and I can't speak for that but sales and financing from the tower- down; have a customer for life. read more

Absolute waste of time and a garbage establishment. Was told by a salesman named Leti that the Chevy Colorado we wanted was there and ready to be picked up at an agreed upon price. We drove 40 minutes to the dealership to find not only was the truck we wanted not there and they had no idea when it would be, but we couldn't find a single Colorado on the entire lot. We said okay we'll sign and do the down payment then pick it up when it arrives. We sat in the lobby for 45 minutes where they tried to jack the price up on us multiple times (by almost $10,000 I'll add) before we decided to just leave. This place was trashy and I do not recommend anyone try to buy a car from here you will likely waste your time and leave unhappy. read more

My husband and I drove three hours in hopes of driving home a new to us GMC Yukon. I had been in contact with Belinda previously and was told the internet price prior to coming in. Mind you, not once were we told of a $4000 addendum prior to coming her exact words were "the price is 43,698". When they set the price sheet down with that extra $4000, we should have just got up and walked away right then. I regret not doing just that because the next four and a half hours were a complete and utter waste of our time and a show of disgraceful customer service upon your dealership. After a bunch of unintelligent attempts at sales talk, we finally come to a somewhat agreement. The numbers were not numbering though. I assumed it was because the interest rate was insanely high because now I know that even though I was asking questions about the payments I was not getting answers. Ok no big deal we will sort that in finance. We waited forever! Just to give you an idea we got there at 5pm and walked out at 9:30pm. We are well qualified borrowers with no credit challenges. When you walk into finance you expect to be greeted with another salesman, but generally someone who is semi happy or at least excited to get you through the process. This person was not happy and left us feeling like we were a total inconvenience to his day. I tried disregarding It as it was LATE and he was probably ready to go home. Still left a sour impression because as someone who has worked in sales sometimes you have to fake it to get through the transaction. As we were going through everything, we were finding all kinds of things that we questioned. Two different warranties that we had not talked about or given a choice about were added to our totals. Then to begin with we were charged over 9% in taxes. The finance guy changed it to 6.25, but that STILL was not right! We only pay 4.25% in Oklahoma. Trying to explain the number was still not right was like pulling teeth! Ultimately, we had to walk away. The kicker was getting out to the parking lot being asked if we had the keys. We did not have them they were in the vehicle. The salesman got in the Yukon and proceeded to drive right in front of with out a care that a small child was in the parking lot. I get it he was mad, and it had been a long day. I do not think you should put your foot in the gas when going through a parking lot knowing there are children around. In an effort to have a conversation to explain why we walked away and what happened I had an exchange with Belinda asking for the GM to give me a call. No one ever returned my call. read more
