I understand on such short notice it is not always feasible to make such orders, but Chris was fortunately able to accommodate me and even surpass my expectations in such a short amount of time. I am a preschool teacher for a public school district in Orange County and desired t shirts for each graduating student transitioning to Kindergarten. I sent him a photo of the shirts I wanted and requested the size, color, and additional writing. He was fast and efficient via email and sent me quotes and t shirt font options. He was also able to work with the budget I had for graduation. The parents of my graduating students were so happy to see their child in a baby blue graduation cap and matching t shirt they can keep. For confidentiality purposes, I am unable to upload my student or the graduating class, but did show a photo of the end result and the photo I had sent him for the purpose of replicating it. After a couple months looking for wedding invites and receiving quotes between $3k - $4k I decided…read morewith some help and my moderate creativity this is something that can be DIY'd. It wasn't as easy as I thought. I designed an invitation, rsvp card and reception details and set up the file to print on the same sheet of paper. I wanted black thermography type printing which has raised text. It didn't take long to read a few reviews here and get the feeling that I was in the right hands with Heston Graphics. Once I met with Lon I quickly felt like he was treating me like I was family. He relentlessly helped adjust all the files so they were lined up properly, fixed some sizing issues and added cut marks for his machines to read. He also caught a major spelling error I made that would have had to be reprinted. He spent so much time perfecting the files... borders, sizing etc AND gladly waived the hourly design fee. He has a heart of gold and I knew, like myself, his goal is an amazing finished product. One of his many specialties is foil stamping. I wanted a logo stamped with black foil and Lon got it done while other companies told me the location desired just wasn't possible. He also redesigned it to look more impressive and took the time to vectorize a photoshop file. Lon is lightyears beyond an expert in his craft and truly cares to perform the greatest work possible all while treating you with white glove service.. Heston Graphics is a mix of old world craftsmanship with new era graphic art capabilities. The very best part is that care and service of yesteryear remains alive and well here.. pretty rare these days. I'm now brainstorming for projects that I can work with Heston Graphics on for my business as well. I needed to get polos embroided with my logo for my employees and learned of Printek. I met with…read moreMike Clenderson who showed me two different polos. One was a cheaper alternate so I was a little wary in making a decision but then Mike convinced that although it cost less the polo was still of good quality and very popular amongst their customers. He even mentioned the shirt he was wearing was the cheaper polo (which later I found out that was not and that "I misunderstood him" --right). In closing the deal, Mike also mentioned he would knock off $50 which at the time I thought was very nice. In a later e-mail he mentions that the $50 off came out of his pocket (lies upon lies to make himself look good). After receiving the polos (later than the date I was told I would receive them) I decided to wash one to test the quality. One wash later and the shirt was in extremely poor condition! I immediately emailed Mike and explained to him the situation, in which he responded by telling me that I needed to wash it according to the instructions. So again I went ahead and washed a previously unwashed polo with care and found it once again in poor conditions. I went ahead and emailed Mike again explaining the situation. He responded by giving me the option of purchasing better industrial strength shirts but he would give up the profits he would receive from his end. However, I did not want to purchase shirts from his manufacturer because I had no trust in their quality and proposed that I would purchase my polos separately and have him hold up his end of the bargain by doing the logo work for free. Later I learned that he would not hold up his end of the agreement and wanted to charge $5 for each shirt. Why in the world would I pay again for a product that is not up to par????? Now I understand I chose to purchase the cheaper alternate (which by the way was not so cheap) but for the products to deteriate after one wash is ABSURD! I sent Mike one last e-mail stating that I was very disappointed with their products and felt that I was misled. He responded by saying it was my fault for being "frugal" (aka cheap) and not dishing out more for "industrial strength" shirts! HOW RUDE! He was the one who knew about the polos....after all he works for the company. He should have informed me that the polos I ordered were of crappy material. He should not have misled me to believe the polo he was wearing was the one I was ordering. And lastly, he should not have stated that he would redo the logos free of cost and then go back on his word (but then again what did I expect from a person whose words were all "misunderstandings") This company is shady, untrustworthy, and their products are crap! I will never do business with them again and I hope you can learn from my experience to not be as naive as I was in believing everything they said in order to make profits!
