Every day, as I swim or just look at my beautiful, glistening pool I smile and think to myself...man, what a pleasure it's been since I made the switch to Freedom. You have to understand that my pool is quite large for a residence, 55,000 gallons and also pretty old as it was built in 1948. Experienced service at a fair price. Freedom pool service installed a new pool pump after my original (20 year old) pump failed. In this case considerable reconfiguration of the piping was required to complete the installation. Given the effort required I felt that the cost was quite reasonable. Also the cost of the pump itself seemed fair based on my online research. Finally the experience and aptitude of the technician was obvious as he worked through the installation challenges. Overall I am pleased with the experience and happy with the pump performance so far. Lastly, because Freedom is a service representative of the pump manufacturer they will directly respond if any service repairs are required within the full three year warranty period. We had some intermittent flickering from our pool lights. They were out of warranty from Royal Pools/Hayward. We had Freedom out for a problem with the light in the spa, shortly after our pool and spa were completed in June 2018 and they replaced the light with no further problems. I sent pics and videos of the problem to Drew. He quoted me the job price and ordered both lights but they were on back order due to supply chain shortages. When the lights arrived we scheduled the work. Alex arrived on time and determined that only one light was the problem so that was great news. We had to have our pool heater replaced. We had 2 options and based on the distance of our gas line we picked the heater that would work perfectly. Our pipes leading into the heater were updated. Ever since we brought Freedom on board they have been responsive, punctual and willing to assist with questions and issues we had regarding the maintenance of our pool. Freedom Pool Service IS as AMAZING as their reviews state, and I was fortunate to be on the receiving end of incredible customer service that went beyond any I've seen in years. My life is extremely busy, trying to get this review written took forever, but it truly needed to be done. The previous pool service called to tell me the pump for my 97 year old mother's pool was not working, and they could send a technician to assess it for $95. The next day he sent a video, and called explaining the pump was in need of replacement, it was 1 1/2 years old, and of course I was told it had a 1 year warranty. They were not willing to help me other than for me to buy a new pump, and pay to have it installed. I hired this company because they serviced & repaired, and the previous only serviced, but I was NEVER happy with their MINIMAL service at a higher cost. I started looking/reading reviews on Yelp for a new pool service, and came across Freedom Pool. I thought these reviews were too good to be true, I WAS WRONG! I called to inquire about a monthly service cost, and what was included. I spoke with Rachel, and was explaining my current situation with the pump. She asked if I could send her the video, and she'd have the technician look at it. Within a few hours I got a response from Andrew asking if I knew the pump model number, as he felt this pump had a two year warranty. I went the next morning, took pictures, and sent them to him. He called me that afternoon, said he spoke to PentAir (pump mfr.), and it was covered, and could send someone (Alex) to install a new pump that afternoon. WOW, I was shocked! I asked the cost of installation, and he said it was covered by the warranty, WOW AGAIN! Guess who became my new pool service? I'm so very impressed with the knowledge/suggestions from all staff members.
