I apologize in advance for the length of this review but considering the amount of money involved with buying a new RV I feel like it is worth the read. My husband and I just retired and RV'ing is something that we'd always talked about doing but we honestly had no idea where to begin. Chalk that up to a lack of retirement planning on our part. We did a simple internet search for RV dealerships in our area which is how we discovered Freedom RV. As I said, considering the amount of money involved, we wanted to take our time so we started by just perusing their Web site. We found it to be very easy to use and I also found it to be particularly helpful that they had the inventory broken into not just type (Class A Diesel, Class B+, Travel Trailers, etc.) but also by brand. We weren't sure exactly how big we wanted to go but a friend had recommended that we look at any style of Newmar first so we were able see everything they had in that line and see what fit our needs. We were able to use the filters in the search to quickly compare models, condition, price, etc. After we decided that we were going to go with a new Class A, the only decision was between Newmar and Coachman. We called the Irvington location and told them that we were coming and when we arrived they had all the models ready for us to look at. Our salesman Rene, took us through each one and carefully explained the differences between them, answering our questions in a way that showed that he understood that we were newbies. This might seem small but I really appreciate how he also explained what to expect in the future, vis-à-vis maintenance, service, etc. I just feel like it was good to get a heads up on what we were getting ourselves into. After looking at the different options we went home to think about it. We also wanted to do our due diligence and check a few other locations. This is definitely not an "impulse buy" situation. Long story short, we decided on the Newmar for no real reason other than it "felt" right to us. It's just one of those things. We did one more walk through with Rene just to make sure and then it was off to finance. We worked directly with Keith, the finance manager, and everything went smooth as silk. We hammered out the details and got a payment plan that everyone was comfortable with, shook hands, and that was that. I actually couldn't believe how quick and easy it was. I would definitely like to thank the staff at Freedom for taking a potentially scary situation and making it warm and inviting. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the entire experience. We took our coach to Freedom RV on Irvington Road in Tucson,AZ for servicing on July 12th 2016. I just want to share with you what a very positive experience it was. We were treated very well. Everyone we talked to was polite and concerned about helping us. Stephanie was efficient in discussing our concerns and reviewing them with the service tech Darrell. Darrell was our service tech and he did an excellent job servicing our coach. He also was proficient in diagnosing the problem we were having. He inspected and serviced our front drivers side slide. He told us the seals were working fine and that he had cleaned and lubricated them as well as the wheels. He advised us that the slide could not be adjusted as it was already at the maximum height. Eric your shop foreman discussed his assessment of the problem we were having with the slide. He was honest and forthcoming in his explanation. He offered his opinion for our consideration. He also offered options to choose from regarding the problem. We so appreciate his honesty and integrity. His reassurance of our decision was very much appreciated. Also Thank You for providing us a place to stay the night and the 50AMP service. The professional attitude of your employees we observed while waiting for service was so refreshing. Freedom RV has a huge selection and they are really easy to work with. I shopped around a lot before making my purchase and the other dealers like Frost, Lazy Days and Camping World just don't have the all-around quality service and savings at Freedom. I worked with a salesman named Pierre and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase an RV. It was a pressure free experience and we had a lot of fun touring the different models and options. My wife and I ended up getting a roadtrek because we like to take a lot of long-weekend getaways and this perfectly fits my needs. We found an RV that was unlike any other we'd seen in Tucson. One thing they could improve on is the layout of their lot because it was very spread out. We had to spend a lot of time looking and walking (but we are kind of picky so it took us time to find an RV we loved) but they could definitely organize things a bit better. I recently bought a 27' trailer from Freedom RV and cannot recommend them more highly. It took about 5 visits to get a good grasp on the type of RV that was best for me and at each visit everyone there was happy to take all the time I needed (and it was a lot!) to make sure I had all the information that would help me make the right decision for me. There were NO pushy sales people - everyone acted like they were family. After I bought the trailer (it was used) they made sure that everything was in great order, gave me training on all the systems - and were never too busy to help - no matter how many times I called with questions. The owner was great, too, who was never too busy to stop what he was doing and say "hello". They say they are like family to each other and treat their customers as family, too. Recently had an exemplary experience at Freedom RV. the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. drove the coach from El Paso on the recommendations from Newmar's service techs, they nailed it. Freedom made room on a short notice basis to help deal with a dryer problem. They made sure the field tech was competent and he was. the problem was properly diagnosed and I left the next morning after being offered to spend the night there hooked up to their 50 amp. I would add I was a drop in customer, not having purchased the RV from them. I understand Yelp has an automated review software, however showing only disgruntled review going back some years and burying a majority of excellent reviews as not recommended does not do this establishment justice. I wholeheartedly endorse their staff and services and plan to make them my go to establishment in the future. read more

Had our Ventana in to have the Oasis system serviced this week and a couple of factory recalls as well. Steph has been our service writer since 2012 when we bought our Thor Daybreak. Between her and Brad they have always managed to solve any issues we've encountered. The Ventana is new to us and there's much we still need to learn about it. Jeremy was our tech assigned for this week's work. When everything was completed Brad and Steph arranged for Jeremy to give us the equivalent of a new customer walk thru. This worked out great as he patiently demonstrated every system, inside and out. He had a very easy going manner and a great technical understanding of all the systems that actually made it a fun experience. Purchased a used travel trailer from Freedom RV in February. They were kind enough to let me store it there till May. I just picked it up week ago. The people here are awesome. Took very good care of me and had my trailer ready when I arrived. I stayed in it on their lot for couple of days taking care of things and learning how to use the trailer. They taught me all I needed to know to get me feeling confident and ready to go. Can't say enough how good this company is. I definitely recommend them and believe they go above and beyond in their service. Very professional, helpful, fair price and take extra care of their customers!!! So glad I got my trailer here . You won't find a nicer company to do business with. My elderly parents in California needed a trailer to live in. They couldn't find one they could afford in California so i found one for them at Freedom RV in Tucson. They had a real nice trailer at a good price and the delivery charge to California could not have been more reasonable too. My parents were treated with kindness, respect and helpfulness. It was just a pleasure for them doing business with this company. Their trailer was delivered today without any trouble and by a great delivery driver. My parents could not be happier. Hands down the best service experience I've ever had for either an RV or car. I was gearing up for the season and needed some work done on my Canyon Star to correct a little road wander and a few other wear-tear issues I was experiencing before heading out and it's great to have a licensed Newmar repair service so close! The service was quick and friendly, they had all the parts I needed right there, no waiting for weeks waiting for delivery and that whole rigmarole. Not that it matters in terms of work quality, but the technicians are also very friendly and affable. I've got a 2011 so I probably won't be upgrading soon but when I do, I'll definitely go to Freedom. Until then, they're definitely going to be my repair shop. read more

I had a tremendous experience with the entire Freedom RV staff! From sales to finance to service. Brad White and his service team went above and beyond in order for our delivery to go smooth. Aaron gave us an Incredible walk thru. Hugo was our primary sales rep and we enjoyed his "no non sense" approach that worked very well for us. My wife and I prefer the authentic approach and we received that through and through!! Lastly, we got the opportunity to meet the owner face to face and that put our entire experience over the top. I needed to get my brand new motorhome service after 10,000 miles. I called Stephanie in the service department and she got me an appointment within a week. Showed up at 8 o'clock and was met by Dusty and she checked me in within five minutes of me showing up amazing. Then I had Daniel and John technicians work on my motorhome change fluids filters and they were first class, I couldn't have been happier with the whole experience and I sleep better at night knowing that my motorhome was service by a reliable service dept. in this first class organization! My husband and I are lifelong RVers and we wouldn't buy from anywhere else. We just purchased a brand new Newmar from Devin Murphy and his team. It was the best decision we ever made. They took care of us like we were a part of their family. Answered all of our questions, honestly and help us with every step of the purchasing process. We had our previous RV serviced at their facility multiple times and they did an amazing job with repairs and they were so quick too! I was told to pay the 4800.00 pre delivery inspection (PDI) and whatever needed to be fixed would be fixed. That was a lie. Also, their website listed the rv year newer than it actually was. The salesman and general manager I dealt with very uncooperative and were not truthful with repairing what was promised. I worked hard for many years to save money so I could purchase a motor home and thought the purchasing experience would be and should be enjoyable but was sadly mistaken. Good luck to anyone who decides to buy at this dealership. I rate this business a one star only because a zero star is not an option. read more

Went to Freedom thinking I was going to get a new Class-A but after I got there and explained exactly what I needed/needed and wanted they pointed me in the direction of a used Fleetwood that had all of the specs I requested. The fact that they directed me towards a vehicle with that was considerably less gave me great confidence that they were more concerned that I left happy. And I certainly did that. I would definitely recommend this place, just make sure that you have as good an idea as you can as to what you want and they'll put you in the right model. read more

I went to Freedom and bought a used 2005 Fleetwood Terra and everything went very smoothly. The staff was incredibly helpful and the financing wasn't difficult at all. Buying used was definitely the way to go for me because as much as I like the newer models, they were a bit out of my budget. After looking at a few of the models, I definitely decided that the Fleetwood was for me. I would highly recommend Freedom to anyone interested in getting a used RV. read more

I won't trust anyone to work on my 5th wheel other than Freedom. Dan knows my set-up inside and out and I can count on the service to be quick and efficient. The parts store is pretty darn big and they have most things in stoke but if they don't it's never a long wait to get the part in. They have a really friendly sales staff that was easy to work with and made the financing process easy.
