I had the pleasure of working with Randall and Robert. For my birthday, my dad and husband arranged for a subwoofer to be installed in my 2020 Honda Accord. I was persistent on having a powered subwoofer and not a box in my trunk like I previously had. It takes up too much space. I initially went to Best Buy but they didn't have any powered subwoofers so next I went to Freemans on South Blvd in Charlotte. They didn't have any powered subwoofers either, but Randall assisted me in finding a compact box. I initially had a kenwood amp and kenwood 8" sub installed but was u happy with the bass and Randall picked up on it. Without hesitation, he asked if he could hook up another speaker to see if I liked it better, so I agreed. I ended up with a 10" kicker sub that has a more compact box than the 8" kenwood did and it packed ALOT more bass. It could also be laying flat down for extra protection. My amp was also initially installed on the back passenger floor under the seat but I felt the air air vents under the seat was overheating the amp so 2 days later I returned and Randall said he would rewire the amp to the trunk. I didn't want any drill holes so he secured it to the back seat with Velcro. Randall and Robhave amazing customer service skills and I appreciate all of their help! Robert and Wes at Freeman's Car Stereo on South Blvd. were great to work with and provided an exceptional customer service experience for the work performed on my 2012 Acura TL. I had a very difficult task I asked of them which was to complete an installation for a device from a company that wasn't well known and didn't include any instructions. Robert and Wes were patient with the process which included dealing with a company that was non-responsive to both our inquiries and waiting for several minutes on long hold times over the course of several calls. They remained calm, patient and friendly through what I would consider a difficult process and I always felt like I was treated in the most friendly manner. I purchased an aftermarket double din audio system from a different retailer. The port that I use to connect my android device stopped working which meant no audio books and no navigation. I worked to find a resolution for months to no avail. I contacted Freeman's on South Blvd and talked to Bob. I explained my situation and he told me to bring it in and he'd take a look at it. Long story short, he tested the port using different cables and different phones and determined the issue was not the double din, the port or the cable but was my phone. I obtained fantastic education/coaching and a great solution from Robert Yates (and his team) for a new stereo system for my truck. I was a fairly uneducated buyer, so Robert talked me thru the various options and pros/cons, and steered my to a solution that was an excellent fit for my needs (in fact, included some capability that I really hadn't thought of) but also well below the top-end price that was possible. My husband bought me a 1990 BMW 325i for my 50th birthday and the stereo didn't work and I really wanted hands free. I took a pre purchased stereo in and worked with Robert. He was beyond fantastic. I was a bit nervous knowing the car is so old. He fitted it with the right size speakers and installed stereo. Upon getting home I found that the microphone wasn't working but the speakers were. I took it back in after the speakers stopped working too. He looked at it on the spot and changed a spark plug which not only fixed microphone and speakers but also fixed my door locks. I went into the shop as I thought my audio in my Jeep was not as good as it could be. The first thing Rob did was listen to my audio, made a few adjustments and noted to use Pandora vs Sirus/XM and Sirus/XM does not come through properly limiting the listening experience.
