I…read morefound out the answer to some of them if that's helpful for anyone else: Bulk discount (12 admission passes for the price of 10): - You can use your discounted passes for guests but they must register still - They do not expire - You can buy the passes online and the 12 credits get added to your account. You can then register for the session online. When checking out, there's a button to apply one of your passes Learn to skate program: There was no information online or on the program page for what would be taught throughout the course. I signed up, but I still don't know what to expect lol. They really should have a generic syllabus. Pro Shop: There aren't many options for figure skates or hockey skates so I would say these are tailored to beginners. I was hoping I could come and have someone help determine my skate size since I have no idea what it should feel like and they were pretty much just asking if it was comfortable without much other guidance. However, the guy helping us really was extremely patient, never pressured us and was honestly such a sweetheart. He was adamant about us taking our time and trying on as many sizes as we wanted to and wanted to make sure we felt comfortable with our purchase. He's really the sweetest guy ever.

It can get really crowded with kids though, which makes it hard to skate around since they can be unpredictable. I prefer the adults-only sessions. The prices have gone up over the years, but overall, it's not too expensive. The rental skates aren't great, which is why I ended up buying my own. I actually purchased them from their shop because their skates go on sale pretty often. Overall, I think it's a solid place to enjoy ice skating all year round.

Afternoons are definitely crowded up to 8pm. But we tried the 8pm - 10pm and you have a lot of space. They have a good number of skates to rent. Mostly the basic gray ones. They have a lot of benches to sit down. They also have available lockers to rent. The bathrooms are decent. They also have the store in the building which offer services too, which is convenient. They also have vending machines and a food bar at the second floor. Parking can be a challenge before another shift ends. But after they leave, it's enough for the next batch.

Skate Escape is located inside the mall, right next to a small video game arcade. I was informed by…read morestaff that a "skating with love" community event was happening. There was no charge to skate, though the skating pass price of $12 posted online is not bad, especially without the $3 skate rental cost (since I have my own rollerblades). This place is quite simple. A small shoe cubbies storage unit against the wall, a few seats and tables outside the rink, a restroom in the back, socks and snacks (water, chips, gatorade) sold behind the counter, and friendly staff making everyone feel welcome. The rink had a smooth and sturdy surface, creating an ideal skating experience. It was surrounded by plexiglass, able to withstand the barrage of kids crashing into the walls. Tiny disco balls hung from the ceiling, along with colorful decorative string lights. Mainly hip hop and rnb music played through the speakers, a song list including Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder, I Want To Be Your Man by Zapp, and Don't Stop Til You Get Enough by the king of pop. The skating rink was small but never felt crowded. There was plenty of space to glide freely, and it was easy to dodge the kids. Even the skate aids didn't take up a lot of space or get in the way. It was a pleasant experience, a carefree atmosphere with everyone just having a good time. Skate Escape was a great option for a rainy day activity to enjoy while in the area.

The staff is very very friendly and the space is huge! Very fun and unique place to throw a kids birthday party, which we did! The little room in the back where you throw parties was able to comfortably accommodate our party of 16 although most of the time the kids were busy skating in the main area. It was affordable to rent the room and they are lenient on the type of food you could bring in etc. place was high energy and the music selection is the bomb! We will be throwing many more parties in the future!
