Broke panel and is only been here for 5 yrs and I have to wait 3 week to get it fix. And don't talk on here because the owner will treat me that if I don't stop posting he is going to do something to me. You know Bart is a fraud Freevolt is a Big fraud. The solar did mass up my electrical power in the summer no solar production until October because the owner did not want to fix the bad product. The company is a big lie in these desert. The owner forgets that he is in usa not in Poland so he comes and try to treat me like I am going to do something to you if you don't shut up. All the start you see here is all the people that works for them and there family that they ask to do reviews. . Is all lie. And wen you tell them they are lying they get so madd at you. Well I am just waiting for my bill to come so the court process will start then. My system was 52000.00 and I just paid 11000.00 to fix my electric power and know the panels are breaking. And they don't like to fix nothing. I am sure my electric bill is about 3000.00 so here you see I have 30 yrs warranty for all these lies. I can't believe I actually recommended this company to friends and family. The service they got was horrible and it was an embarrassment to me for recommending them. I have to say this was the easiest purchase in my life. I got a great product at a good price and great financing. The appointments were kept the persons that came to my home were professionals and when they left they cleaned everything up. I have Mohammad as you contact person and he is great and so knowledgable I just got my PTO about 10 days ago and can wait to get the program for my phone and I am looking forward to my first SCE bill . My friend had a very stressful and unprofessional experience with FreeVolt USA. It took them three years since 2020 to explain themselves that due to Covid-19, the city government approved the process and required the fire alarm department to do paperwork, graphic design as needed, etc., to get any delay progress on the project. , the contract was over 250K signed. Worst case scenario, no one can be contacted for any updates and feedback after paying over 100k down payment for the past three years. At present, no one can reach out to ask about the consequences of this contract, only legal action can be taken. Lack of management, lack of service, no trust and credibility. The possibility of fraudulent companies cannot be ruled out. read more

I have this all very well documented for FreeVolt and can't get them to fix it. Through some connection, I was lucky to have Freevolt team come all the way from Palm Desert, SoCal to Saratoga, NoCal & make a fantastic solar/battery installation for my home 7/23-29/2020. The team, Brandon, Jacob, Jene, & Jene 3rd, worked hard & diligently, non-stop for amazing seven days including weekend! I could not ask for more as all of them are really nice & hard working folks! I also really appreciate their attention to detail. Tp put thing into prospective, My house have an expansive slate roof, as it's fragile, they needs to remove the slate & replace with the Shingles, before they can put up the solar above. They have to also seal the shingles tightly, & tug enough slates around the newly installed solar panels, so that it looks like it's not altering much of architecture with the solar. They also try their best to clean up everyday before they leave, & paint with match color when ever possible, be it the patches or the wire conduits, so that it matches well with original color surrounding it. Unfortunately for me (a Freevolt customer), this company is a disaster. It is now (Sept 2023) almost one year since I signed a contract (Oct 2022) and almost 9 months since the installation (Jan 2023). My system is still not operational, and Freevolt customer service is non existent. They failed to submit a timely application to SCE for my solar system when my system was first installed and that resulted in a 3 month delay to get the PTO from SCE. A month after the system was turned on (without SCE approvals), my system went down and no one at Freevolt could figure out why. I called Enphase myself and got them to diagnose the problem. The CEO ignores my calls, the customer service people are new hires (seems like this happens on a regular basis) and no one cares to follow up. They don't have the skilled technicians they should have for this type of work. Despite what I am being told, I am no where closer to having an operational solar system than I was 3 or 4 months ago. Avoid at all costs. read more

I should probably be suing them instead of writing this review. There is WAY more problems than this but I will give the lowlights. Never helped get me the rebate on the battery (only the installer can apply) Took 9 months and multiple rejected city inspections. Had power out for multiple days. Left a mess, trampled shrubs. Did not give us monitoring software. Have no idea weather our system is preforming like it should. Messed up and had to reroute the conduit (tried to charge us). Woke me up at 7am and said I had to mark all the breaker panel to decide which was to go to the battery BEFORE the installers got there that morning. Didn't finish the job after promising to in exchange for final payment. Lied to us about the inspectors not showing up when they were not finished and would not have passed. I could go on but bottom line do not use them they are dishonest, have bad customer service and won't be there for you when you need them. You have been warned. read more
