I needed a Tesla home charger installation and Sergio was extremely responsive and informative. He and his crew came out quickly and performed excellent work the very next day after Sergio came to evaluate. The price was absolutely fair for a very clean and professional job. He also educated me on our solar panels and will likely have him back to help with maintenance on those.

We had our 20 year old solar system upgraded and after interviewing several companies, we went with Sergio and SG Electrical. Impressed is an understatement, they didn't push a lease or additional items like others did, Sergio listened to our questions and addressed each one without any "fluff". When it came time for installation, the crew arrived on time, were very professional and the work was completed in time and we couldn't be more pleased. Reached out to get an EV charger installed, and Sergio was able to get me on the schedule for the same week. Really appreciated the constant communication (reminder text day before, heads up day of), and knew exactly who to expect for the job. Shout out to Alfonso for getting my EV charger installed in less than 3ish hours, which included having to run out to the store to grab a breaker. Everything works perfectly, and could not have asked for a smoother transaction :) price was also extremely reasonable. Sergio responded immediately when I called to ask him to fix some electrical issues! He came to the house within an hour to assess my situation and determine what I needed done. His employee was at the house the next morning at 10:00am exactly on the stated time and had everything up and running in half an hour!! Quality of work excellent and price was more than fair!! In 2016, my solar system was installed by Renova Solar and leased thru Sunrun. With both these companies recently having "business issues" all of us are currently left with nothing at the moment while they "reorganize" ... On Friday, I noticed that my solar system was not producing energy! I had - ZERO NET metering! Not able to connect with either company for help...and of course this happening over a WEEKEND... I researched solar/electricians, read several reviews and called SG ELECTRICAL & SOLAR. Sergio promptly answered the phone and we discussed my situation. He said he had appts. early morning SUNDAY, but could be at my home around 10 am if that worked for me... YES!!! GREAT COMMUNICATION, keeps you updated on his ETA, arrived ON TIME, and went to work... Sergio IMMEDIATELY diagnosed the problem - gave me the best/worst case scenario - and successfully got one inverter to respond. The other inverter was not responding - but he tried again and again and the BEST case scenario worked!!! My app immediately showed his progress and is happily producing energy again! Yay!!! Sergio has been in the electrical/solar business for 20 years and over the past 8 months, is currently building his own business and desires to grow and serve our valley. He has a full team of talented electricians/solar technicians and serves the CV and LA areas (and other areas as well). I met Leo the owner of SG electrical at one of my listing that I was selling in Bel Air. He did such an amazing job repairing some electrical issues that I haven't stopped using him or referring him to my clients in Bel Air. Just recently I was having some issues with the power in my office, Leo came the same day and troubleshooted and fix the issue in a timely manner. He found many things that the house inspector overlooked, and we were able to take care of many issues to bring the property up to code - safety wise. But what is more impressive, is that Carlos heard arcing from the main panel, realized we had a much bigger issue, communicated all of this quickly! He caught was noone else did and probably saved the property from a much bigger isseu! Larry professionally and immediately facilitated ALL of the behind the scenes maneuvering to get power restored in the same week. I know this was a record timewise, and while it might not be repeatable every time for issues outside their control- Larry took it upon himself to do all that was possible to align the utilities and the city, to make it the shortest possible duration. AND Carlos and his team went so far above and beyond to fix all the issues and restore power correctly. He met with pool technician, solar technician and all worked together to make sure all the systems would be working as needed! They are a top notch operation all around and would highly recommend. While he was here I had him look at a loose outlet I'd had issues with since I had bought my home. I had another electrician come out and look at it before and he is the one that left it loose. The prior electrician couldn't figure out why the bottom socket didn't work. Mike looked it over for maybe five seconds max and knew what caused the issue instantly. I don't like leaving negative reviews…read moreand as a former business owner, I always strive to resolve things with the business before taking to the internet. This is a lost cause. We called over a week in advance for an inspection on a house we are closing on, already in escrow. I let the person booking know that we needed a sewer inspection and that contingencies were being removed so it was crucial that we get the inspection as promised. I was told we would get an estimate for services in advance. Despite calling back three times prior to the inspection, I never got an estimate. It was too late to find a new service. On the day, we were able to get a price, which seemed fair. Our window was 12p-2p. Alan, the tech, showed up at 2:30 and only when it was time to do the video inspection of the sewer did they discover that the battery for the video unit was not charged. They dispatched another battery, but our realtor had to leave by 3:15, and there was just not enough time. How do you show up to do a video inspection and not have a charged battery, not have a backup, and not KNOW in advance your battery is dead? OK, not great. Alan promised us he would return at 10:30 the next morning. I explained to him that this meant we'd have to book another night at the hotel, and incur expenses for the dogs, food etc. All in all, it cost us an additional $350 because of their failure to bring a charged battery, Not happy. My jaw hit the floor when Alan informed us that there'd likely be an additional charge to come back the next day which was a Saturday, but then quickly backtracked, saying it wasn't his call. We spoke to someone on the phone who assured us that since the error was theirs, they wouldn't uncharge us for having to come back the next day. Well, thank you SO MUCH. Needless to say, the next day, after having incurred a $350 hotel stay, plus dining, toiletries, etc. NO ONE SHOWED. The realtor was with us, having left her family for the appointment. After 40 minutes of trying to figure out where the hell Alan was, we were told that unless we paid the additional $150 - again DUE TO THEIR MISTAKE WHICH ALREADY COST US AN ADDITIONAL DAY AND $350 - no one would show. And they didn't!! UNREAL. The guy we spoke to on the phone was cold, displayed no remorse or empathy, It felt like a total shakedown. What a great grift - have your battery not charged and up-charge people for it when you can hold them up in the wild. We ended up calling USA Drain and Plumbing who were courteous, understanding, and sent someone right out to do the job at a fair price. They also wrote a great report. Again, I hate to write bad reviews as you can see from the vast majority of my reviews. This one though left us no choice. I wish there was an option for ZERO stars.

There were complications on their end with sourcing the refrigerant and originally was going to be until tomorrow to finalize the job. We explained that this was going to cost us revenue due to reimbursing guests. She took that to heart, personally went to their storage facility to procure the materials, and then coordinated the work this evening. And to top it off, she called just now at 8:30pm to close the loop and insure we knew it was fixed and tested. KATIE IS A SUNLOGIX ROCKSTAR... please give her and the team a big raise.
