WOW! Service above-and-beyond. We purchased a new Innova heat pump for our short term rental in Palm Springs 9 months ago. The older unit was on its last legs, and we were concerned about it going out when we had guests staying. Lo and behold, the new unit developed a refrigerant leak and stopped cooling when it was 105 degrees today - and we had guests arriving today. There were a number of complications as their repair techs have been very busy, however, Katie did an amazing job working with us today. She started with us at 7am to coordinate a technician visit. There were complications on their end with sourcing the refrigerant and originally was going to be until tomorrow to finalize the job. We explained that this was going to cost us revenue due to reimbursing guests. She took that to heart, personally went to their storage facility to procure the materials, and then coordinated the work this evening. And to top it off, she called just now at 8:30pm to close the loop and insure we knew it was fixed and tested. KATIE IS A SUNLOGIX ROCKSTAR... please give her and the team a big raise. They deserve it. Additionally, we had our solar system with batteries recently installed. They were priced competitively and sized the system well for our needs. I saw their truck at Sam's Club on 6/6/2026 and needed my AC serviced for a new capacitor. There was a $95 service call which was fine. The technician arrived within scheduled time and informed that I need a new capacitor and would costs me $350 (Yikes!) less than $50 part. No choice it was 95 degrees inside the house. Job was done great and ac working fantastic. Final bill was $477 because the $95 service call was not waived. Basically I had a discussion with the technician explaining that since I had him complete the repair that I assumed (my mistake) that it would be waived but he says, "company policy". I then retracted to not send me a sales person to quote me for a brand new furnace. I only write this review to learn from me NOT to assume anything that different company may have different policy regarding service fees/call. We are planning to get solar panels and chose Sun Logix. We had issues from the start with our original salesperson calling and trying to take our business after he left the company. We then began working with another salesperson, and I worked on completing all the paperwork through my HOA once I submitted it. I received a phone number for the contractor/project manager, as they called him, who would set up our service and install the solar panels. I notified them on March 30 that we had been approved by our HOA, and to this day, I still haven't heard from the contractor or from our representative, Michaela, who is the third or fourth salesperson we've dealt with. SunLogix offered a very competitive bid for the Tesla Powerwall 3. Here are 10 reasons for my 2-star rating: 1) After the contract was signed and payment submitted, communication was far from optimal. More than a month would pass without hearing a word from them until I requested an update. 2) Scheduling the actual installation date was a protracted, frustrating process. After finally receiving an email indicating that I'd be contacted "soon" to schedule the install, 2 weeks passed with not a word. Multiple emails from me were required before I was given a start date. 3) The installation start date was cancelled twice with only 12 hrs notice the first time & 45 minutes notice the second time. 4) The young men performing the installation were inadequately supervised. They made a large number of holes in the ceiling and walls of the garage which had to be redone (the worst of which is pictured below, which extended all the way through the drywall and stucco). 5) The installation process spanned 5 days, not 3 or less. This, on top of the two cancelled days, resulted in significant disruptions to our routines and required that other committments appointments be rescheduled. 6) Although we were advised that work would begin at 7 AM, the installer(s) showed up by 6:30 AM every day (which is prohibited by my HOA). 7) On the first day of installation I discovered that the installers had turned on our mini-split air conditioner in the garage without first requesting my permission. It was running full-bore as the garage door was wide open and I immediately turned it off (and offered them use of a fan). That was inappropriate and just plain discourteous. 8) Later that same day I went out to the garage to retrieve my step ladder and could not locate it. I walked around to the side of the house and discovered that an installer was using it. (Again, without requesting permission first.) This created an undesirable situation (I was told their ladder had been stolen), presenting potential liability concerns. 9) Clean-up seemed OK after walking through the garage, but after they departed on the 5th day I noted that essentially all they had done was use a blower to move the white dust and small white chunks from the many drywall holes made in the walls and ceiling off the garage floor into the desertscape gravel adjacent to our driveway. This required a significant amount of my time to clean/remove. (See below a photo of my expensive Boss radio on of the selves in the garage that was left covered with drywall dust & splattered with spackle drips.) 10) I was given zero paperwork after the install and had to request documentation of the city permit and warranty information twice. Sunlogix really helped us out of a bind. We acquired our house with a leased system of 54 solar panels that was installed by and used to be serviced by Renova. We needed our roof recoated . Our roofer recommended Sunlogix who after we got zero response from Renova took the panels off our roof. The roof was recoated and the panels were reinstalled carefully and promptly by Sunlogix. I would not have chosen a leased solar panel system, but we still have 8 years left on the lease so we are stuck. We will call sunlogix for any future work. They came to fix two problem panels. Then found I needed to reconfigure all the panels. Then found I needed to fix the roof. Then when nothing worked they found I needed new cables that I never needed before. Then when the rain came I suddenly had two leaks in the new roof. And of course every step came with an invoice for more $$$$. And while all the parts were still under warranty, it still cost me over $11,000. Would NOT recommend. read more

We could not be happier with the entire solar process with Sunlogix. Sandra was amazing throughout the entire process, walking us through every step, as well as providing accurate renders of how the panels would look before they were even on the house. The panels look super sleek on our flat roof, impossible to see from the street. Not being able to see them from street level was extremely important to us because we live in a mid-century modern house, and we didn't want to ruin the flat-roof profile. Sandra created multiple renderings with different arrangements, placements and angles to get the most amount of power out of the panels, while keeping them super discreet. Any time we had a question or needed something explained, she was available over call, text or e-mail immediately. Christian and his team stay in constant communication during the planning and permit process. Once the project was approved by the city, the installation was impressively fast and efficient, and the entire process took only 4 days including inspection, to being fully operational. Like many astute consumers, I did my research on solar systems and local contractors and subsequently made appointments with 3 local contractors for cost estimates. SunLogix rose above with transparency, expense, and trustworthiness. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the other leading solar contractors who tried to sell me systems that were overpriced and over producing. SunLogix sold me a system that meets my household's modest needs, is aesthetically pleasing and thus far 3 months in, has resulted in $0-$25 monthly electric bills, with the $25 being the first partial month I went online. We had a small hiccup with staff changes but was corrected once I reached out. Electricity rates continue to rise as our economy is being turned upside down by greedy corporations and a malfeasant government; whatever we can do to become more independent the better. Battery storage would have been ideal because when there is a power outage, my solar system will also go down. But batteries would have added $20K additional expense. SunLogix recommended to give it about 5 years for prices to go down. The PUC is trying to screw over residential roof top solar customers by eliminating the buy back mechanism. Something to keep an eye on. read more

I submitted my request for quote on line through their website. Within 40 minutes, Caitlyn Kern was calling me to set up an on-site review of my needs and consultation. Solar is something you almost have to have here in the valley, especially if you have Edison. When we purchased our home, we purchased it with Solar. Unfortunately, the original installer of our system went out of business. This was a huge problem since we now needed service Our unit was not functioning properly and our electric bill reflected it. We had no clue as to who to turn to. We found Sunlogix through word of mouth and on line reviews. We called them first. Coleman was sent out to asses the unit. He indicated we needed the panels to be cleaned, which we then set up with Sunlogix. After the cleaning he returned and ran the diagnostic tests. He found 2 fuses blown, he replaced them and the system is now functioning at optimum performance. Coleman even followed up with me via TXT just to confirm that the system is working up to standard. You may ask how do we know that the system was working effectively? Coleman event went so far as to teach me how to run a diagnostic test and then txt him with the data so he could confirm the problem was fixed! I was so impressed with the level service.
