TL;DR: cosmetic work good, mechanical work not completely checked, communication non-existent…read more Original repair estimate was 2 weeks, Ended up being 4 1/2 weeks. They said wrong parts received, they missed some damage in their initial assessment, they appear to have staffing issues. Not one time when there was a delay (3 delays) was I proactively contacted and advised of the delay. I only found out when I called on the day(s) they said it would be ready and then was told that it would be longer. Was driving out of town following the repair, and car became borderline undrivable in the middle of the Mojave desert. Limped car home and took it to the dealership where I purchased it, and they found a large clamp on the intake ducting had not been properly tightened. This was in an area of the vehicle that Precision had worked on. When I called the manager Graham with this information and sent him a video from the dealer showing the loose part, no apology or acknowledgment of any kind that they had failed to catch this. I gave him that chance before writing this. As I said, the cosmetic work is very good, but the great paint matching doesn't matter much when you're stuck on the side of the I-15. I am hopeful that the finish will be durable. This was a large repair, which did require a lot of disassembly/reassembly. I also understand that things happen which can cause delays. Proactively communicating those delays would have bought much goodwill from me, as would have an acknowledgement and apology that they made a mistake with the mechanical repair. I received neither.

I have always brought the cars of myself, and family members to 'CAARS,' since we originally got…read moreour Saturn's from Saturn years ago. I brought my Saturn in towards the end of last year to have the coolant light checked out on my car. The coolant light would not turn off without coming back on rather quickly, so i brought my Saturn down to have them check out what was the issue, and make the necessary repairs. It took them a few tries to find and locate the problem, but it was totally worth it. When they started looking into the source of the problem they discovered multiple parts that were broken, or close to being broken. They gave me the choice of the most critical parts that needed to be repaired, and were listed on a print out so I could choose which parts could be done sooner, and some father down the line in the near future. Vince, Dan, John, and staff always do a great job repairing and fixing our Saturn's when an issue pops up, and when an issue unexpectedly pops-up. There are a couple of parts that were getting close to breaking down, so I would rather get to those repairs (If I can), before anything goes wrong when I'm in transit somewhere. They found a fan that was coming loose besides the coolant among a few other things that were broken, or breaking down, and made the appropriate repairs. Needless to say I was, and am highly satisfied with the work that was done on my Saturn--I can easily tell when I drive my car--that it has much more power when accelerating, and it's noticeably smoother when driving. 'CAARS,' has high quality repair work, and a quality staff that Vince has retained--which shows in their quality, pride, and workmanship while keeping the price, timeliness, and value worthwhile for their customers.
