I just got the car back and really haven't gone anywhere so hard to say if the mysterious issue is totally resolved but... Just moved here and our 2013 meticulously maintained Panamera was exhibiting bizarre electrical behavior. Alarm going on and off. Dashboard going haywire. Called them on Monday morning and was able to come straight in. By the afternoon had analyzed and recommended new battery (it's about 6 years old) because analysis revealed low voltage issues and they said that the weird stuff is commonly attributable to low voltage. At the same time recommended a few scheduled maintenance issues based on carfax maintenance history. Agreed to take care of those few things as well. Had car back Tiedsy afternoon at 5. Dealer would've taken me 3 weeks to get in and they'd have kept the car a week and charged me triple. Frank's was great. Super friendly and shuttled me home and picked me up to retrieve the car too. I did not ask to check the brakes, but they did as "part of the service." Recommended brakes and rotors and estimated $640 for the rear. I was driving on the freeway by San Clemente and I could hear something dragging on the road from my car, so I pulled off and found this place. They pulled off the piece of plastic from the bottom of my car that hadn't been properly secured after an oil change and they showed me it was broken in half. Then they showed me that my tires were completely worn out and that it wasn't safe to be driving it. They were very accommodating and very efficient and probably saved me from an accident on my long commute. Joe and the other guys were very helpful and I would definitely trust them with my car. I went to have just a window regulator repaired, they called me with tons of work that my car needed that totaled $5000. I refused most services, and got what I came for. I told them that my car wiring is all connected and they would have to reset my car so no problems arise with the new window regulator. They agreed with me, and told me they reset my vehicle. However, I moved just after i got it fixed and not one month later my other window which had no problems before, is now experiencing issues because they did not reset my vehicle electrical system correctly. If this is your livelihood, your business, then why not get it right? Now I can have to pay someone else to fix something that never had an issue before. Please guys get the job done right read more

Franks is by far the best I've seen yet! Local, honest, fast, and you won't get a better price on the work to be done. I don't just write good reviews for nothing, these folks deserve it! It begins with my 2003 Nissan Pathfinder which developed an oil leak in the oil cooler. Over time, it got progressively worse! I tried a couple of places in town, and good places at that. The first quote was around $750.00 for a new one, $500.00 for a refurbished one, and I thought that maybe I'll just put some cardboard under the truck, and add oil as needed. That was until I took a chance with Franks. My first point of contact was a gentleman whose name is "Dan". Friendly, outgoing, and professional. He said "just bring it down", and we'll check it out. I did, and a couple of hours later got a call saying that they could rebuild it on the spot which involved a couple of "O" Rings, and a gasket. Are you ready for this? $160.00 bucks out the door. Leak gone! They pointed out a couple of other leaks as well which I will have them correct in the near future. And get this! After I had arrived home, I noticed that my wheels where shiny bright, and tire dressing as well. Then it dawned on me...OMG They washed the entire truck as well. These folks have it covered. They do sales, and leasing as well. They are a medium sized facility that may cause some to think "just another mom and pop setup" WRONG! If you want fast, courteous, affordable, and professional attention for you, and your vehicle, see Dan at the front desk and tell him JT referred you. If you're even contemplating going elsewhere...Don't. The money you save will enable you to go out for a night on the town right here in San Clemente. Thank you again. Went in because my check engine light and coolant light came on while driving on the freeway this morning. Turns out I had a crack in my coolant tank and they fixed it for $125 and gave me a car wash! The staff is really friendly and helpful and mad the experience non stressful, considering the fact I normally have bad luck with automotive shops.
