Dropping off my vehicle to be serviced under warranty was a good experience. Unfortunately picking up my vehicle was not. Rick was a complete jerk and very rude to my girlfriend. He took it upon himself to make sure she knew they spent $1000 to fix our truck after she inquired about certain charges to the bill. Well i spent $3500 for a warranty extension and Rick should be fired. He must have earned his customer services skills from a third grader. I will NEVER purchase another vehicle form Freeway Chevrolet, and I will make sure EVERYONE knows how poor their customer services is. FYI. Well here's a switch- a positive review of a car dealership! My wife and I did our homework first, though. found an Equinox LTZ 2014 on line, checked KBB knew what to pay and had our Credit scores at the ready! Turns out the price they quoted us was actually less then what Kelly BB quoted as fair market value. They included a service contract as well FREE of charge! Chris Esquire in service is absolutely the top man there. He is the only one that I will take my vehicles to. I currently own three Chevy's and all three of them go to Chris for everything. In fact, although I have seen some other makes that I was interested in when buying a vehicle, I have stuck with Chevy because I know that Chris would take good care of us. He is the only one that I know that of who will go back through the history of the vehicle to see what's been done already and to see if something is under warranty before he charges the customer. To put it simply....if Chris ever moves to another dealership, we will be following him. He's the greatest!!! read more

I recently completed an application online. John Miller responded. I went in the next day and Tyler helped me test drive a vehicle. His service was excellent. Very nice, polite, courteous young man. Unfortunately we were not able to secure the vehicle we wanted. I thanked Tyler and his manager for their time and we left. The next day I received an email from John Miller asking if I could come in. I had specified the vehicle I wanted and in the email he stated that we could work the deal. This was a complete lie, as he knew, having the same information as the day before. Deceptive bait and switch liar. Avoid ! I live 62 miles away and had I believed him and driven down that would have been 124 wasted miles. So salesman impressive, finance though? Just when I thought the service here couldn't get any better, they proved me wrong! I had issues with my car in the morning, I called and spoke with Shayla and she scheduled me to drop my car off after work so they could repair it the next morning. When I dropped my car off I worked with Chris. This gentleman is a leading example of excellence in customer service. He answered all my questions, got my car in right away, and even gave me a ride home. The next day I called because I forgot my lunch bag with my work badge in it and they made sure it was there and put it in a safe place for me, Shayla even emailed me to let me know it was found and safe. My car was done the next day and I showed up to pay my warranty deductible and found out that Chris had found a coupon for me that covered my deductible. No. The comment that I received from this dealership only solidifies My decision of not taking my vehicle or any further business to this specific dealership. My reviews and My B.B.B. Complaint will stand. Also those keys do not belong to midis because the vehicle was worked on back in may there not at the same time. I know where those keys were given to me and where they were not. Also on those keys is Two membership tags for eos if your dealership calls them and gives them the bar code number they can see whose membership that is and then they can get there keys back. Also , the email I received said nothing about 1st come 1st serve. If you like you can have a copy of it. Either way the blame game is just adding to a already horrible experience. Prior to going to the dealership, I called and spoke to sales manager lee nelson. Lee said the 2018 Chevy Silverado 2500 diesel crew cab I was inquiring about was still available. I told him that it would take me about an hour to get there and he said he would have the truck brought up and washed so I could test drive it. When I got there, it was washed and in front. I walked in and asked for Lee. A female sales woman said he was busy and asked if she could help. I told her about the truck. She walked around and then had another salesperson, Jesse, I believe, come out. He thought the truck was already sold by lee. He then tried to get me to go to a cubicle desk and wait for lee. I told him there was no reason to if the truck was sold. He said I was right. No one else spoke to me and they avoided me, which made me believe they're all liars. Lee would not have come out and spoke to me if the customer didn't leave after the deal. I sure did curse lee, before and after I saw him. Lee walked over to me and I told him, he made me drive an hour, when he could have called me and told me he was in the process of selling it and had it washed for the other customer. I know car deals take longer than the ten minutes I was there. All lee could whisper to me was "Thanks for driving up!" He's such an Ahole. I left and went to another dealership, where I bought a 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500 Duramax Diesel. Will never buy a car from this dealership. I'm positive everyone there remembers me, one salesman offered me $10.00 to whip Lee's a*@! So I guess the employees don't like him either. I purposely did not capitalize lee boys name. I took my Tahoe to get checked and fixed because I was having electrical problems and there was a knocking in the front. They said my warranty didn't cover so I had a $1200 out of pocket fee. I came up with the money thanks to my fiancé's family. Craig called me a week later and told me my Tahoe was ready. I picked it up and the next day the same problems were still happening. I called Craig and he said they forgot to tighten a ground wire. I dropped off my ride again. They called me 2 days later and said my ride was ready. I picked it up and the knocking was still happening in the front. The service director Lonny gives me a free oil change and tire rotation for the troubles. I drop it off a third time so they can fix what I paid for. Craig gave me attitude asking why did lonny give you that free. Craig then stated maybe he won't fix the problem. I was shocked that he stated that but I'm like ok. So they were doing the oil change, tire rotation and trying to fix that knocking noise. They call the next day again and advised that my Tahoe was ready. I went to go pick it up and Craig stayed that next time I drop it off I need to pay $150 and I'm like, I just payed $1200 for it to be fixed and you didn't fix it so why do I need to pay?. He stayed quiet and I go to my Tahoe and my tires weren't rotated like the paper says. The knocking was still happening and I doubt they did the oil change. I have the same problem again plus more since I took it in the first time. I'm still having the electric and knocking noise and Lonny don't want to give me all my money back but $300. It's ridiculous. I payed these people and they took my money and didn't fix the problem. I got ripped off. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I'm talking to my family lawyer to see what they can do. read more

They'll barely give you an answer then hang up on you and they won't provide you their names so you can't bring it to their manager directly. read more

In 2014 I bought a 2015 Malibu from Bill Bowlen. My experience with Bill was awesome; the finance department not so much. I got "approval" on my own with a somewhat high interest rate but a payment I could afford. My sister-in-law was with me and asked what would my payment be if she co-signed. After a credit check they brought us the final numbers. Keep in mind, this is MY vehicle and she is co-signing. It was not until 2 weeks later that we discover SHE is the primary buyer. Not me. This pissed me off, to say the least, because no one ever disclosed this to us. Fast forward to January 2015. I brought my Malibu in for its oil change and decided to look at the 2016 Malibu. My brother and sister-in-law were with me. My brother had been interested in a Colorado and decided to see if they could make a deal. Once again, my sister-in-law wanted to co-sign so my brother could get a better interest rate. Papers were signed but my brother discovers when the bank sends paperwork, that he is NO WHERE on the loan! Needless to say he was pissed! He then went to his credit union and got his own financing. Meanwhile I've signed paperwork for a 2016 with my sister-in-law as a co-signer, with strict instructions that I AM TO BE THE PRIMARY or no deal. I was told it was understood. They let me take the car so I assumed no problem. After a week and a half of only one hit on my credit report, Rafael from finance calls me on a SUNDAY to say he needs check stubs from me and Mary and he will be in touch. Now the hits start coming to my credit report. What the hell have they been doing for over a week? I call him on Tuesday. No call back. I call him on Wednesday. No call back. I then call Billy and tell him if a deal is not done by Friday, I will be returning the car. He says he will get my message to the right people. On Thursday I get a letter of denial with my Sister-in-law as the primary buyer! Then Rafael calls me to say that he got a deal done and needs me and Mary to come to the dealership and sign new paperwork because they couldn't get the deal done with me as the primary! THEN he states that actually he can't get it done with me on the loan at all! What?! Why would I make payments on a car and not get credit? That's when I got really upset and said "I specifically told you not to do that!" He then tells me it was upper management that did it. Needless to say I told him I would bring the car back on Friday and I want my down payment back! I'm a GM of a hotel so I know running a business is difficult. But to be made to believe one thing then have something else happen not once, but twice to me AND also to my brother is despicable. I wanted to give you the opportunity to respond before I take this up with the BBB, the Attorney Generals office, and any social media outlet I can find to let the community know how dishonest your company is. P.S - this is not about Billy. He has been awesome. He is the ONLY reason I gave one star. It's the rest of them that suck, especially Nolen. What a rat bastard! read more

My husband and I brought my Impala here for its 15k mile service. While waiting, a new Silverado caught his eye. We test drove it, loved it, told them we were going to use our own credit union for financing, and that's when the drama started. I asked the sales manager to provide us with a spec sheet for the vehicle because the credit union would need that for loan to value determination. I've used my credit union for 3 different cars in the last 3 years so I knew exactly what to tell them . Mind you, our actual salesperson was only on his 2nd day of work for the co, so the sales manager was helping to walk him through everything. We sat and waited for the spec sheet, after basically being forced to complete one of the dealers financing applications after TELLING the sales manager we were not applying for financing through the dealership. My patience was growing thin after 20 min because I know it only takes a sec to plug in a vehicle number and print out a few pieces of paper. I walked around the entire used car lot, got the call that my car was ready and still no spec sheet. The new salesman told us they would email the spec sheet to us later that day. Later came, no emails to me or my husband- not even in the spam boxes. This was a Saturday. Monday comes. My husband sends me a screenshot of a deal sheet for him to sign showing a price for the vehicle we test drove of $19,000 MORE than the spec sheet taped to the vehicle. Needless to say, we have not been back in contact with them. I don't know what type of sales operations they're running over there, but my time, money, & intelligence were greatly disrespected that day. If your looking to get taken advantage of, then Freeway Chevrolet is the car lot for you! If your a smart shopper like myself, stay far away. read more

Lol this place sucks balls, some broad sent me an email on Saturday when I was at he bar down the street, the email said, "come test drive a car and get a free $50 dollar gas card." Who am I to not like free gas? I swerve my way over to Freeway Chevy, get in in the flagship Diesel crew cab and proceed to hammer down on this bad boy around the shopping center next to it. I get back in and the guy wants to talk numbers, I say lets talk $50 dollar gas card. He gets up and then brings back the heffer that sent me that email to begin with, she says "so you're not looking to buy?" I reply with "hell no. I want my free gas card for wasting my time on this test drive like your email implies." She gets pissed, storms off, mumbling something like they will mail it to me lol. Thanks for letting me spin the tires in that $60K truck porkchop, you better have gotton my mailing address right or Ill be back in to test drive the new Vette and do some doughnuts on your lawn. read more

My wife went for a simple oil change when she was approached by an unscrupulous salesman by the name of Nolen. Nolen brought up the idea of getting a newer version of her current car which is not the bad part since we've been contemplating buying a new car anyways. Nolen pulled a carfax to pressure my wife to feeling fear, uncertainty, and doubt about her current car. My wife was interested in a particular trim that had some good options for entertainment but it was out of our price range. Nolen than offered a downgraded version that was cheaper and made my wife think this was the only option due to credit issues and price. My wife was disappointed that she couldn't get the car she wanted (so they said). Instead under false pretenses Nolen sold my wife the downgraded car at sticker price with miscellaneous add ons. The bad part is that the next day we saw the upgraded model that my wife really wanted was the SAME price as the downgraded model sold to my wife on their website (internet pricing ). The downgraded model that my wife ended up with was $5000 less on their website as well. We went back up to the dealership to address this and Nolen was indifferent and passive and said that he will get his sales manager to assist. We waited for a long time to speak to the sales manager Sean who never made the time to meet with us so we left. I personally HATE dealing with sales/con people that don't take care of the consumer's needs. Some people haven't learned that you make more money by providing excellent customer service because you will get referrals. We referred 3 people that were looking to purchase vehicles but told them what happened to us so they are going to a different dealership. Although their acts may not be illegal they are indeed unethical at best. I wish the days of vulture sales would end. read more

I initially requested an oil change. When it was time to pay. I was charged for an oil change and a tire rotation. I was not asked if I wanted a tire rotation, but it was performed anyway. Even if the oil change/tire rotation was provided as a package and at a lesser price, I did not want the rotation. Allan quickly offered to reverse the tires to their original positions. He said it would take another 10minutes. It took 22 minutes. Then after the reverse tire rotation was done, I got back into my vehicle and noticed that my oil life monitor had not been reset. I looked over the multi point inspection sheet. That sheet had it checked that it was reset, but that was not done. When I got home, I began preparing for a trip to Texas. In doing so, the truck would not start. The battery seemed faulty. I inspected the battery and the cable/terminals were heavily covered with corrosion. I cleaned the posts and cables and it started back as normal. I again reviewed the multi point inspection sheet and it indicated that the battery condition, battery cables and connections were checked off as ok. I had to wonder if the tires were actually rotated and re-rotated and if the oil and filter was actually changed as the dealership claimed they did. I now find the dealership repair department as deceptive and untrustworthy. read more

I brought my car in as a notification went off requiring service. I sat for over an hour waiting on Enterprise rental car to show up. What I found is that Enterprise was not even a block away. I could've walked over there sooner than it took for them to show up. In addition, after waiting for 30 minutes I asked the service advisor what's taking so long and he said they should be there shortly. In my opinion, I should've immediately been shuttled over there vs. sitting there wasting a portion of my Saturday with my friend in town visiting on getting a rental car. I had to go to the service manager after an hour of waiting and at that point he said he'd shuttle me to Enterprise. It shouldn't take an hour to get in a rental car. I wasn't impressed at all, which is sad because I purchased my vehicle from this dealership. When comparing the service I receive at Acura to Freeway Chevy, I believe there is absolutely NO comparison. I would be in and out there with a beautiful and sometimes upgraded vehicle in less than half an hour. Time is a commodity and I believe Freeway Chevy failed in delivering timely service to me on this go-around. read more

It's a long story so I'll try to give the short version and get to the point. I bought a vehicle then found a vehicle I really wanted elsewhere so didn't end up going through with the deal here. There is much more that transpired here in the twenty four hours this all too place which is why I give five stars and wish this was the dealer I made my purchase from. Entire staff stayed open until after 11pm to pretty much get the deal made the first night and were happy throughout considering I walked in about ten minutes before closing of regular hours. Second the next morning I noticed a slight and I mean it only happened at one speed and you had to be very quite to hear the rattle in the door, immediately the garage manager was on board and went with me to listen for the faint noice until we found it then he ensured me he would track problem and fix and within two hours he called to say all fixed. It was that time there though that allowed me to keep browsing other dealer lots which is how I found what I really wanted just sadly not at this dealership. Point is all the staff here is amazing when it comes to customer service they are tops in my book. For reference I have bought about ten vehicles in my life so yes I would know the difference thanks for reading hope this helps. read more

Buyer be ware! My husband traded in his truck and signed a contract to buy a Tahoe. The every next day he went back in to try to cancel. At this point we were told we could not have our trade back, and that we would in fact be taking the Tahoe home when it came in. The truck was not even going to be on the lot for another week, and we had not even taken possession yet. These people refused to do anything to release us from the contract that had been signed less than 24 hrs before. They said there was no going back! When I told the financial manager that we were going to get a lawyer, he replied with "Go ahead, there is nothing they can do for you" My husband attempted to speak with the GM many times, but was always told he was out. This is why I am writing this review, because the finance manager was correct. The laws are set in a way that protects the dealer ship, and offers nothing to the buyer. If the return policy was disclosed to us, we would have went to a different dealership (most offer a 3 day cooling off refund). They do not disclose the return policy (or lack there of), because they do not have to. I will never return to this dealer ship, and will forever regret going in the first place. They will go from sugar sweet to plain rude in no time flat Update: I am not sure how this review came as a "surprise", as all employees were made aware of how upset we were that this dealership was unwilling to do anything for us. The tv was a poor consultation prize for forcing us into an almost $58,000 vehicle, but thank you just the same. You may have acted within the grey areas of the law, however ethically, this dealership failed miserably. Disclosure needs to take place BEFORE the contract in signed, not afterward when your home free and the customer is left with no other choice but to move forward. read more
