I was very leary of purchasing pre-owned as I have heard so many horror car buying stories of shady salesman, selling faulty vehicles and lacking clarity about the true vehicle condition, so I started my research. It took me close to a month of research, before I found a preowned dealership that still honored integrity. I knew the cars I was interested in and found my way to Goldie's. I was working with another dealership, as I had been pre-approved, but let me tell you what made the difference.. the service at Goldie's ! Through text and email, John, my sales-friend, (I call him) was so relatable and communicative. Walking in I have to admit is pretty cool, in the show room they had a old school IMMACULATE Corvette, a skew ball machine, and arcade games it felt unlike any other dealership I had walked in. The owners son greeted me and asked if I needed anything and to let him know if I did! He was the sweetest teenager. When they say Goldie's is a family business they really mean it ! I was working with John and let me tell you he was so transparent and honest it was like a breath of fresh air. I had considered other vehicles they had but he talked me through the maintenance cost, resale value and common mechanical issues each of the cars I had considered. Once I settled on a vehicle he was able to check for me the maintenance records as well as reviewed the carfax report with me. When I took the car for a test drive he told me to take my time get to know the car and make sure it was right for me. I never felt pressured to purchase. I was having a horrible time in dealing with the insurance payout of my previous vehicle and John was very empathetic in understanding my situation. He had set expectations before I came that with the insurance payout being delayed I may not be able to take the vehicle the vehicle home. I was thrilled with the no pressure atmosphere, and just came to take a look at the vehicle in person, with zero expectation to buy. John and his manager worked magic. I did in fact decide to purchase my vehicle and was able to take it home, there is a small cosmetic issue that I requested to have repaired and he called immediately and got the approval to get it taken care of. I'll be returning later this week to have that completed. I'll keep you guys posted after the service appointment. I had a great experience and I feel I got a good deal on my vehicle and, I felt like my business was valued, my concerns were heard and they've made a lifelong customer out of me ! After those reviews, the Service Department Manager reached out to me personally, listened to my concerns, and assured me they were working to improve. I'm happy to say they have! I recently brought my daughter's Toyota in for a scheduled 1:00 p.m. oil change and routine maintenance. In the past, even with an appointment, a simple oil change could take nearly three hours. This visit was a completely different experience. The service was completed in just over an hour, and I received text updates throughout the appointment letting me know the progress. It's easy to write a negative review when things go wrong, but it's just as important to recognize when a business takes customer feedback seriously and makes meaningful improvements. I truly appreciate the efforts of the Service Department Manager and his team for turning around what had been a disappointing experience. They've earned this five-star review, and I hope they continue providing this level of service to all of their customers. Thank you!

When I asked when the parts might be available, I was told to call back the following week. I also asked if they could reach out to me once the parts came in since they already had my information, but initially they said they couldn't do that or schedule anything. After insisting, I was told they would call me when parts became available, but the overall experience felt unhelpful and lacking in communication--especially for something as important as a recall that already has an official fix released. I hope they improve their process for handling recall appointments and customer follow-up.

That service went well but within a week or so of my 85,000 service I noticed a squealing noise coming from the vents while using my AC. I will start off by saying I know when I scheduled my service the way Philip talked to me should have been a red flag but we decided to bring the car in anyways. I had my husband manage the contact with Philip after he was condescending with me. On 03/20/26, Philip called us after the projected time we were given to hear back and indicated that my AC Compressor had been severely damaged and caused catastrophic damage to the whole system and that I will need a whole AC system replacement. He quoted us a little under $10,000. Honda has a recall on the AC Condenser in my vehicle as certified by another Honda dealership (Chandler), as Philip refused to check for us via VIN. Philip was short and indicated that he did not see how that would be related at all but would contact his manager. This morning, 03/21/26 my spouse called and Philip indicated that the AC Condenser was not the issue. We decided to get a second opinion as the whole interaction with Philip was shady and we felt uneasy. Philip did not want to even talk to my husband about the issues in depth while paying for the diagnostic fee- $240. Finally after my husband questioned why Philip wouldn't talk about the vehicles concerns. Philip indicated while being condescending and infantilizing my husband, that the issue was the Evaporator and that everything else is just contaminated. Philip would not go into detail of what "contamination" meant. This explanation is a completely different story than received on 03/20/26. We are unsure if this error was complete idiotic incompetence on his part or if he had malicious intent. Either way, we were not working with them anymore. Philip indicated manager approved $8,600 cost for total AC system replacement. To which we declined as he destroyed what little trust we had left. This "updated story" was reflected in the service recommendations from the Tech. I will never recommend this Honda Dealership from our personal experience or as per research and review, it seems that their reputation is justified.

BEWARE OF KIA I…read morenever thought I'd be writing something like this, but here I am--because I don't want anyone else to go through what I'm dealing with right now. I'm 68 years old, living on Social Security, with health and mobility issues. My car is EVERYTHING to me. It's how I get to my doctors. It's how I survive. I drive for Uber just to afford groceries and keep my lights on. In March 2026, after my previous car was totaled, I finally found something I could afford--a 2021 Kia Seltos. I checked the Carfax. It said the recall had already been done. I trusted that. At the end of June, the check engine light came on. The VERY NEXT DAY my car died while I was driving on the freeway. Cars were flying past me. I was terrified. I got it towed to KIA--and was told I needed a NEW ENGINE. Cost? Over $6,500. I don't even have enough money for basic bills. There is NO WAY I can pay that. Then I found out something that made this even worse... The recall that was supposedly "fixed" was NEVER DONE. Even the mechanic admitted it. He told me KIA should be responsible and to open a case. At first, everyone agreed. Then the runaround started. Service says it's Consumer Affairs. Consumer Affairs says it's Service. Both come back with: "The other one said no." Meanwhile, I'm stuck. My car has been sitting there for over a MONTH. No loaner car. No transportation. No way to get to my doctors. No way to earn money. No way to pay my bills. When my son stepped in, suddenly the tone changed. He was treated completely differently. Then we started hearing phrases like "good faith warranty"--basically excuses to avoid taking responsibility. From everything we've learned, a recall is NOT optional. They are supposed to fix it. But instead, I'm left scared, stressed, and struggling just to get by. We've filed complaints. We've escalated. Now we wait... again. Please, if you are thinking about buying a KIA--or dealing with them on a recall--BE CAREFUL. No one should have to fight this hard just to have a known safety issue fixed
