I purchased insurance by an agent by the name of Fareha (spelling probably off) few months later i received a letter from dnv stating my license was suspended. After an in depth conversation with her about me needing a sr22 filed, there was never a sr22 filed so my license was suspended and i then had to pay for reinstatement of my license. The manager isn't helpful. Canceled my direct pay and they still took it out of my account. They don't even know what they are doing. Well the saga continues they are now telling me that I owe them 495.00 for FOUR hours of coverage. This supervisor of customer service Gabriel Sanchez says that since I did not say void the insurance policy and did what the Kevin person told me to cancel the policy I owe them 495.00. this is robbery in the first degree. They think people are made out of money. They should be ashamed. And now I'm on hold for 15 minutes to wait to speak to anyone above this Gabriel. So I can't reach him and now I have to deal with a collection person and now I HAVE TO PAY this because they feel that fours of coverage is worth it. I hate this company. NEGATIVE STARS!!! This company is a bunch charlatans, crooks, liars, cheats, and morons. I bought a brand new car, and the woman from this company told me I needed to purchase her insurance to drive off the lot (total lie I was already covered with AAA with a fantastic rate). They basically try to scam people by having them sign up for the first month and last month's insurance, (At an outrageous rate of $150 per month), and then this is non-refundable. A few weeks after my purchase I had a $200 charge go through my account. They told me this was non-refundable after the moronic drone put me on hold for huge period of time. He couldn't find my information to save his life. I basically lost $400 for a day of insurance. THANKS FREEWAY INSURANCE!!!!! This company's BUSINESS MODEL is attempting to trick and exploit people. Do not purchase insurance from them you will regret it. Yelp is the only weapon we have against these tricksters, so make sure to weigh in if you've had a similar experience. read more
