Garbage!!! This place and company is absolute GARBAGE!!! Don't make the same horrific mistake I made in choosing Freeway Auto Insurance to assist you with your insurance needs. Their broker fees are absolutely outrageous and it seems as though they can just make the broker fee whatever amount of $$$ they feel like ripping someone off that day. I watched mine drop hundreds of dollars when I laughed at the original quote. I should have grab my things and ran for the door especially because when I had called and talked to someone earlier in the day they told me to come down to the office and talk to Jayson and there would be NO broker fee but that was a LIE!!! Jayson was a $$$ hungry douche bag just like the rest of the people who work for this company. He even had the nerve to talk a call from the owner while working with me bragging about all the money he had ripped people off for that day. All in all I signed with them because the rate they found me was decent and with their bogus ass broker fee added in the total I'm spending about the same as I had with my previous insurance company so in my eyes its really no money lost and I was there and just wanted to get it done...I was just tired of shopping around for insurance. It really upset me though because when I had called originally and spoke with one of their nimrod money hungry agents (Brandon, Jonathan, Chuck, LArry, I cant quite remember the name because I was thrown around so many times) I told them I was shopping around because I was looking to save money which they assured me would be possible if I came down and when it was all said and done they DID NOT make that happen. NOT DONE YET... To add fuel to the fire I authorized them to charge my debit card because it made things a little cheaper and enabled me to make payments on the broker fee and they've charged my card 4 times!!! $100 each time and it was only suppose to be one charge of $100. This has caused major issues with my bank account and I accrued overdraft fees!!! SUCH BULLSHIT!!! Use another company..any other company!!! DO NOT GET YOUR INSURANCE THROUGH FREEWAY!! I went to Freeway because I was given a fair quote for car insurance. When I arrived and my policy was worked up, the down payment was more than twice what I was quoted over the phone. To make matters worse, the insurance agent LIED about why my downpayment was high, stating that it was due to a violation on my record. I later found out that she had actually charged me a HUGE BROKER FEE and did not disclose it. She gave me the paper to sign stating that it was for something else. I never saw anything that stated I was agreeing to a broker fee. On top of that, the agent claimed she was giving me a copy of my insurance paperwork and when I got home, I noticed she had given me photocopies of generic information but never gave me a copy of ANY of the documents that I signed. Later I got a call from a collections agent from Freeway stating that I owed them more money. When I refused to pay due to the fact that the broker fee was not disclosed, he got extremely rude and aggressive. I tried to explain that I was decieved by their agent but he said straight out that it didn't matter. I am now in collections because they were deceiptful and I refused to pay the broker fee. I would NOT RECCOMEND Freeway Insurance to anyone. They lure you in claiming to have low rates and then they try to hit you with a huge broker fee and not even disclose it. Everyone I have worked with there has either been rude, deceiptful or just plain unhelpful. I am in the process of taking up the issue with the Better Business Bureau. This place is worth place you can go , i advice anyone to don't wast the time with them. They are not trusted people. There is agent called Diego Pastora i called him by phone to make car insurance, he told me that i should pay only 15 $ per month (and i confirmed with him that all i will pay is 15 $ no other and no down payment or any fake) and i got confirmation number with that. After i came to the office from along distance he told me that i should pay down payment 485 dollars and said more crazy options for me, after i refused they ask me to wait and a woman come to me he said that she is the office manager she told me about a new fake offer i should pay 44 dollars per month and no down payment . anyway i waste my time already with them, and my advice to anyone to not waste the time. This not a company for insurance they are a brokers. Now i am a member at AAA big company with perfect history. sure you can deal with any big company at USA but do try to pay a few dollars less than normal cause you should be sure that it will be a big fake offer. read more
