My Family owned 4 cars 2014 CX5, 2017 CX5, 2018 CX9, 2019 Mazda 3. All bought from Fremont Mazda. Recently I have a terrible experience with the service department. My 2018 CX9 had brake problem I brought there 4 times for inspected they said no problem, finally they do roto surface under warranty, but no replaced the brak pad, after that the noise getting worst, I brought back they said replaced the Pad, I paid almost $400.00 for pad service. After I pick up my CX9 I found out they damaged my front and rear wheels on the driver side, also when I step on the brake they make terrible wind flow to the cabin. I was compliant to the service manager, General manger, Online Sale Manager. They all test drive and saw the problem. They said left my car there they going to fix it. After almost 1 week I left my CX9 there, no one calls me to let me know my CX9 ready or not. I stop by and asked the service manager who was handling my service this time, ha said oh your cars are ready, I pick up the cars, they did not replace 2 damaged wheels, what they did ? they spay silver paint to cover the damaged area and they don't reinspect the brake service they did. They all said the problem come from my tires. The OEM tires were still very good condition. I went home to replaced 4 brand new tires cost me over $ 1000.00, but the problem still there. I called service manager, He agreed to replace my 2 damaged wheels, I brought my CX9 back, he said you have to leave your CX9 here for a couple of days, I am ok with that but he said no loaner car offer. I told him I need cars for work. but he still not offer. He said to go home I called you when I got the wheels. after almost 2 months keep call and following up but no return call, Finally I called Mazda USA for help, but after 10 days no response. They send me the survey to ask how good they are. After I did the survey, they send emails to offer to bring cars back to repaint my wheels. I don't trust them anymore. I called my insurance to take care of me. Then I will bring to another place to take care of my brake. My CX9 still under manufacturer warranty, I also bought 100, 000 mileage warranty from them. I've never had a pleasant experience in a car dealership, which is why the thought of purchasing a new car was troublesome to me. After purchasing my new car, my thoughts about car dealers and car sales consultants have changed, and I want to share why. After researching several cars, I decided to purchase the 2014 Mazda 3. I emailed a couple of dealerships in the area for quotes and looked up the TrueCar pricing for the car. Within minutes, I received an email from Fremont Mazda with a price well below the MSRP and even lower than the recommended purchase price of the car provided by TrueCar. Curious, I decided to give the dealership a call and I was transferred to a sales consultant of the dealership named Amir Vafaie. Rather than dictating the process of the sales of car, he asked me to give him the price of the car I wanted, saying that he does not want the price of the car to affect my decision. I provided a number for him and he promised to beat it. Later that night, I decided to check out the dealership because Amir's assertion was too good to be true. The dealership closed at 8pm, and I arrived at 7:30pm, not really planning on purchasing anything. When I arrived, I was immediately provided service, and Amir approached me shortly after. He and I perused the entire lot until I found the exact car I wanted. Later, he went inside to discuss the pricing of the car, and to my surprise, he kept to his word. Although I didn't plan on buying a car that night, I had purchased one within an hour. After the purchase, Amir gave me his business card and told me that if I ever needed anything car-related, he would always be there for me. He said if I wanted to make any sort of modifications to my car, I would only have to pay a discounted price through him. He told me that he didn't want to just be my sales consultant, but my friend. Amir assisted me well after the closing time of the dealership, and even offered to help me some more on his day off. The span between my initial inquiry of the car to the actual purchase of the car was 8 hours. I am completely and utterly satisfied with the service that was provided to me by Fremont Mazda. I had a tremendous experience at Fremont Mazda. We were lucky enough to work with Abbas, who was courteous, patient with our questions and not at all overbearing. The first day we came in, we were really just looking to test drive the CX-5 because we've read a lot of great reviews on it. Abbas greeted us and offered to let us test drive it. We were very impressed with the car, but wanted to explore other cars, like the Subaru Forrester and Outback. After the test drive, he invited us in to his office to talk numbers, which we were fine with because it would give us a base-line to work off of. It took about 20 mins or so for him and his manager to give us some #s on a lease, which we thought were really good. They really wanted our business that day, but we told them that we were still early in the process and that we wanted to consider other cars. With many dealers, especially after they spend the time running #s, will get pretty angry if you walk away without a sale. They, however, remained very friendly and we felt really good about returning if we were convinced that the CX-5 was what we wanted. After testing both the Outback and Forrester, I was not as impressed as I was with the CX-5, although those are still very nice cars. The lease deal at Mazda was better, but I wanted to reach out to other Mazda dealers to see what they offered. Needless to say, the one that Abbas and Fremont Mazda gave us was much better than I could get at other dealers, most of them just trying to get me in without saying they could beat the offer. Their tone was way to salesy for me, so I decided to return to Fremont. Five weeks had gone by since we first walked in for the test drive. In between, Abbas would send an occasional text to see where we were at with our decision, but was in no way pressuring us. Since we were going through a refi of our house, we wanted to make sure it closed before taking on another debt. He was very patient, so we decided to reward them with our business. We came in yesterday, spent a couple of hours hammering away at the paperwork, and drove away very happy with the exact car we wanted. If there's ever a playbook on how NOT to run a car dealership, Freemont Mazda has nailed it chapter by chapter. From my initial email inquiries, the falsehoods began. Despite consistently stressing a 24-month lease in our discussions, the sales rep tried to pull a bait-and-switch by presenting a 36-month lease price during the in-person meeting. Their understanding of customer service doesn't just border on the absurd - it revels in it. The inconsistencies didn't stop there. The sales representative claimed my credit rating was notably lower than it actually was. Only after confronting the sales manager did I learn that this might have been an 'error'. And by error, I mean a blatant attempt at squeezing every penny out of me. Then, there's the finance manager, whose only aim, it seems, is to capitalize on customers' fears. From trying to force an absurdly priced 36-month maintenance contract for a 24-month lease to overpriced insurance offerings and laughable wear and tear protections, the circus of scams was truly spectacular. But the cherry on top? An unsolicited call urging me to come in for a non-existent 2,500-mile checkup when I was nowhere near that mileage, and no legitimate guidelines recommended such a thing. Freemont Mazda is an epitome of all that's wrong with car dealerships today. They prioritize short-term scams over genuine customer service, leaving a trail of disgruntled patrons in their wake. If you're considering doing business with them, tread carefully or better yet, tread elsewhere. Their practices beg the question: How do they sleep at night? Follow-Up Review of Fremont Mazda: After the initial hiccups with Fremont Mazda, I had hoped that the post-sale process would be smoother. I was mistaken. My license plates and registration never arrived due to an oversight on their part - they left off my townhouse number. When I reached out for resolution, I was met with indifference. The sales rep's advice? Simply "call DMV". Thanks to this, I ended up shouldering an additional $55 for new plates and tags. This review is for both Mazda Fremont and Mazda USA. I purchased my Mazda CX-5 in late 2017, excited about the driving experience but unfortunately, my overall satisfaction has been significantly marred by both unfulfilled promises and subsequent technical issues with the infotainment system. At the time of purchase, the dealership manager verbally committed to providing a complimentary CarPlay upgrade within six months. Regrettably, we did not have this promise documented in the contract, leading to a disappointing revelation later on that the upgrade would come at an additional cost. This initial lapse in business ethics set the tone for a less-than-ideal ownership experience. About a year ago, I started experiencing problems with my infotainment system. Strangely, it seemed to be controlled by other cars intermittently, and the system crashed consistently when I plugged in the SD card with the map. Troubled by these issues, I reached out to Mazda USA multiple times for assistance (File Number 00152227). The response I received was disheartening: "As stated in the previous email if they do ask for anything out of pocket for the repair you can reach back out to me and we can review to see if we can assist in the cost of the repair." This approach, expecting customers to bear the upfront cost and engage in a prolonged back-and-forth process to reclaim money, is both frustrating and problematic. It not only places an undue burden on the customer but also reflects a lack of accountability on Mazda's part. Later when I actually went to the dealership on Stevens Creek, the staff told me that the corporate could issue e-Gift card to cover the cost upfront, which they didn't disclose. The combination of broken promises and a problematic infotainment system has left me deeply dissatisfied with my Mazda ownership experience. I had hoped for better customer service and a more reliable product. Prospective buyers should be wary and consider alternative options that prioritize customer satisfaction and stand by their commitments. read more

I finally signed up for Yelp, just to write reviews of my car-buying experience recently. This (Fremont Mazda) is where we finally bought, and I was really impressed with the dealership, and Jason P. in particular. I set about it by finding the car and options we wanted: settled on a 2015 Mazda 3i Grand Touring Hatch, since it's well-built, fun, and very well-equipped for the price. Once we had that, I wrote to all the Mazda dealers in the Bay Area with the specs, expecting a few days of back and forth to settle on a reasonable price. A couple of dealers responded with a straightforward price, and what they had in stock, and Jason was the quickest among them -- 3 minutes. And, once we sorted out the options we wanted, that price undercut the best I got elsewhere by a few $$. He gave me a good price on the car we were looking for right off the bat -- no haggle and no games. I eventually was able to get nearly the same deal from a couple of other dealers, but I got it on the first try here, and in the end no one was able to beat it. Also, Jason was very well-versed about the car. I did my research before buying, and hate going to a dealer for a test drive or some questions, and finding out you know more about the car than the salesperson does. It wasn't like that here. And, he was very upfront about incentives Mazda had going, when they expired, and what was needed to get them. That included factory-to-dealer incentives as well as to buyer. The last thing was needing to decide on a color, and Fremont Mazda had a large enough selection that we were able to look at all 3 that were in the running in one place, even pull my other car up to them to see how they would look in the driveway. While I think some other dealers may also be easy to deal with in terms of pricing (at least if you go through the internet rather than walk into the showroom), I didn't find the same inventory elsewhere. We've had a great experience here, and I'd recommend Fremont Mazda and Jason P. in particular, to anyone shopping for a Mazda. read more

Long story short, I had this vague idea of "hmm, may be its time, I should buy a new car now" on last Sunday afternoon. After some basic analysis late in the night, I realized Mazda 3 was a good fit. So I reach out to the dealers in my area. I got a response from all. Fremont Mazda's quote was the best of the lot and Zabi was on top of things right from the beginning and I went to take a ""look" at the car. One look at me and the car , and he immediately told me the features that were missing in the basic model and that I should go for a sport cause of mileage and power doors. He didn't pitch for cars with better trims and just said , you should go with a sport . I think you would really like it and I do one week later , I do :) (touchwood) . It has everything that I need. I was worried about going over my budget off-course (lets be honest we all will ...) and he did help me out and got the paper work started. For a first time buyer like me, it was indeed helpful, cause he told me all that I needed to know. He had to leave in the middle of it and apologized profusely which was unnecessary and then my case was handed over to Omar. Omar is a great listener and Abby came in to picture. I am fairly new to the country, so there were some glitches around financing and my old car was a really old gud car ). Thanks to Zabi , Omar and Abby (and his persistence :)) and Allen , I got a new car in less than 48 hours from the first thought to driving away in one , after trading in my old car for the price I wanted . Last week I went here as part of my trip to look for a new car. I checked out the Mazdas here, and then went to several other dealerships checking out other brands. Here I spoke to Jason Pargeon, who was by far the best salesman I talked to all day. He was everything that you'd want in a car salesman. He was not only extremely knowledgeable about the cars, but loans, leases, and pretty much anything else I asked him. He wasn't pushy, and respected the fact that I was just looking that day. He offered lots of information without me having to drag it out of him. He was friendly, and, like I said, was by far the best person I talked to at all the dealerships I went to. Then, after making the decision to buy from them, (and seeing the awesome reviews of Jason when he was over at Winn VW,), I decided to get a Mazda3 from him. He went over and above what I expected. He woked with me to ensure that I got the absolute best deal I possibly could. Honestly, I don't see how I could have possibly gotten a better deal. And then the Finance manager, Daniel T was equally awesome. Probaby spent all of 20 minuets talking with him. He even gave me a very good deal on some of the extras. Like Jason, he wasn't pushy about it, and when I made it clear what I wanted, he shut up and just had me sign the paperwork. After everything, it was a very relaxing experience, especially after what I've heard other people go through when buying a car. I got a great car, and I got a great deal, and had a fairly stress-free experience. Who could ask for more? read more

First review. Quite pleased with the service and overall experience. Used Edmunds.com "Price Promise" to get quote from three dealerships. Also researched the price via other means. Fremont Mazda had the lowest price for the specific model and color of Mazda6 I was looking for. There was another dealership that had similar to slightly lower price but that car had more options than what I wanted. Young Chi from Fremont was extremely prompt with his emails and honest with what he had in stock and gave an excellent price. No price negotiation was necessary. However I did ask him to adjust the price so that it will be in line with the slightly lower price quote I received from other dealer which he did. Young was diligent with everything he did after when I got to the dealership next day. Usually it is the Finance guys that exasperate me with their strong arming methods to sell you financing and warranties etc.. that I don't want. No such pushiness from Popal (the finance guy) here. Of course I made it clear to Young what I am not interested in ahead of time and that I didn't want someone from Finance department trying to sell them to me. Popal respected that. Got us through the paper work pretty fast. From the time we got to the dealership, we were out of there with the car in 1 hour and 40 minutes. I was told that I got lucky and usually it takes longer than that. Young explained all the features of the car and made us familiar with the service department before we left. read more

I purchased a 2015 Mazda 6 from Fremont Mazda and had the pleasure of working with Jason Pargeon. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. He did not try to push me into anything that I didn't want and was willing to jump through as many hoops as he could in order to make me feel comfortable about the car. Jason is a man of his word and did not quote anything that he could not produce. I would suggest for all of my family and friends to go to Fremont Mazda and work with Jason for any of their new car needs. Jason Pargeon was really easy to talk to and made sure that he explained every single document to you before you sign anything. He took the extra time to make sure that my car was set aside so that no one else would be able to drive it until I got there and even though he was really busy when I did get there he was able to make sure that I had an amazing car buying experience. He sat down and made sure that I understood all of the features on the car and didn't skip anything. While first talking about the vehicle he made sure to listen to exactly what I wanted and asked questions that helped him get to know me and what I wanted but also helped me get to know and trust him a lot more. I could not give enough recognition to Jason on here because he went miles above what I expected from a salesperson at a car dealership. This is the first time I've bought a car, and I've been warned a lot about the risk at dealerships. I went to a lot dealers across brands, and a lot Mazda dealers. Some are good, some are indeed giving us a bad experience. Among my these weeks' experiences, Fremont Mazda is indeed the best one. They're doing it the right way in several aspects. I was helped by Amir, who is warm-hearted, friendly and professional. We're able to get the information we need fast, without a lot going back and forth. I must say Mr.Amir made a lot good choices in communicating with the customer, which makes the whole process smooth and enjoyable. As Amir said he never lose customer due to price, the price at Fremont is indeed good in comparison. And the paperwork, test drive are smooth. The only thing that I didn't expect is that when another gentleman was helping us do the paperwork, he didn't mention the fee for one of the packages, ThreeForOne, when it showed up in the list. After talking we think this thing could be helpful, but would appreciate better if it is explained earlier. Also, as I was referred by one of my friends who also bought the car here, she is able to get a gift card for the reference. Overall I think Fremont Mazda is a dealership that is satisfying in many ways. I've been driving the new Mazda3 for 2 weeks, and hopefully the after-service could be as good. read more

I wouldn't be writhing this review just for the fact that Jason Pargeon from Fremont Mazda made me a deal for 2016 Mazda 6 GT, that other dealers couldn't match. They even couldn't come close. What blew me away is how Jason treated me. My gorgeous Mazda was missing tiedown eyelets (2 metal things that are used for towing; nobody is using them nowadays, but I saw empty slots in my trunk, checked the manual and asked Jason about destiny of these eyelets). I found that eyelets are missing in a couple of days after the purchase. When I stopped by the dealership Jason checked that no spare eyelets are available, then he checked like a 10 of new Mazdas on the lot, but they all were missing these eyelets. Most of dealers would give up and ask to come back later after dealership orders the missing parts. But not Jason, he drove me to the place where his personal 2015 Mazda 6 was parked, opened the trunk and gave me his own eyelets. Thanks, Jason! I don't like negotiating a price with dealers, but Jason is Director of Internet Sales, so you can get a good deal sitting in your chair at home. I am interested in CX-5 for a long time. The first day I went there because they offered me the best price. I've done the research and compared all quotes from different dealers before I went. Yama called me and gave me that price. They also send a car to pick me up since my car died last week. That is a long day for me as I am the last customer I waited to 9:00pm to settle everything down. But I made one mistake, I didn't tested drive the car. Right after I drove the car out of the lot I noticed a buzzy noise come out from the dashboard. It got worse when pass even a small bump. When I drove back to the dealer everyone already left except GM Abby. He said he will take care of this issue and want me back next morning. The second day I went back. Service department tried to fix the issue but after I drove again, the noise decreased though is still there. So Abby said he will help me to change the car and he did. Yama also apologized for the issue and tried to help me as much as possible. Daniel from Finance was helpful too. He helped me to do the finance documents 3 times. I am happy with my current car now, and I did feel that the people in Fremont Mazda try to help you and fix problem for you. I am very thankful for them. read more

Bought my wife's car here long ago and it was flawless.. came back with a friend since they were awesome the first time... but the place has changed ownership and now it is the worst customer service ever!! The sales guy was a good guy, but asking about my immigration status before we even go for a test drive?!?!?! That's not ok.. and they kept asking and asking about our situation even after we have told them, which made me get to my limit, making all of us very uncomfortable, and just a note: IT'S ILLEGAL FOR A DEALERSHIP TO ASK THAT KIND OF THING.. they had this lame excuse saying that with chinese cars was diferent, that they had to know that kind of stuff.. BS!!!!! just because we don't "look like an American family" doesn't give you the right to ask that... well all that passed... the sales guy got the manager involved, extremely RUDE guy.. asked some even worst questions.. if the SSN number we gave was real and stuff like that.. they are asking for somebody to sue them!!! If you don't "LOOK LIKE AN AMERICAN FAMILY" Stay away from this place... or be prepared for some ICE like interview! Oh by the way.. went to ford and guess what, got an awesome deal! This was the first car I bought out of state and I must say Fremont Mazda was very detailed and responsive to any/all questions I had. Extremely accommodating and I felt taken care of every step of the way. I started the process right before a one week vacation and they took my down payment and held the vehicle for me until I got back at which time they overnighted the rest of the paperwork for me to sign. I finished all paperwork and payment information and then I just needed to get transport from the dealer to my state which turned into a long process on my end with the transport companies. They occasionally checked in with me and never threatened me to hurry up (even if they probably wanted me too - haha). Eventually the transport company showed up and they sent me some pics of the vehicle right before loading. Lastly, my state wouldn't accept a photocopy of the title. I called and inquired and they let me know they would expedite that process for me which was very nice since it took me so long to get the transport setup and ship the vehicle that I had eaten into my 90 day temporary registration. First of all I would thank Rudy Saaed and Antonio who did their best to give me a very good deal which I would say the best compared to their competitors. They closed the deal on the same day I got my Mazda6 and everything was well organized and managed by them. It was really a very pleasant experience buying my car from Fremont Mazda. Rudy Saaed and Antonio were so friendly and so clear in communicating all the details and i got what i wanted. I have been driving my Mazda6 exactly one month now. This car has been a thrill! As for the exterior styling, i think it is one of the best-looking cars I've seen! Favorite features: 1) I love its Curvaceous new exterior. 2) It gives me a nice sporty driving feel. 3)The hill-hold assist with mazda6 is really appreciable.. 4) The Mazda6 has as nice an interior as you'll find in this segment in terms of quality and aesthetics. I've been taking my 2011 Madza 3 for all servicing, maintenance and repair since purchasing it (from another seller) in 2013. My experience has been great. The service department is ALWAYS ready for the vehicle when I arrive, it's ALWAYS ready when committed, and the work performed is, well .. ALWAYS... done just right. The service staff are super-friendly and accommodating, call me by name, make transportation accommodations while my car is in their care, and take time to answer my many questions, varying from the crucial "My car is doing (fill in the blank), is that safe?" to "Since I don't have a luggage rack, will it hurt my roof to just throw my Christmas tree on top without one?" , . My fantastic service consultant, Trisha, keeps me informed throughout the process of any repair or service, and follows up quickly on any requests. Since the Oakland Madza just closed, I gladly make the 40 mile trek each way to Fremont Madza for the comfort, assurance, and commitment I need from the group who I KNOW will ensure I have a long-lasting relationship with my Madza 3. I had an awesome experience with Fremont Mazda. The salesperson I interacted with was Jacob, who was very professional and knowledgeable [ I've been on other dealerships wherein you see sales people poking you constantly for a commitment ....but not at Fremont Mazda ]. I was at ease as I went for a test drive of a magnetic black pearl 350z roadster on the lot, that was in excellent state. I was amazed at the General Manager Abby (who has become a good friend), who was very personable, resourceful and available. I definitely got an excellent deal on the z. After taking ownership of the car, I came back 2 days later to have a minor weather seal issue looked at......I was welcomed with the same enthusiasm as I was before buying the car..........my car was immediately inspected and service performed promptly [ these guys definitely know what customer service is all about ] I am recommending Fremont Mazda to all my friends and relatives as a dealership of choice.
