Whatever you do, DO NOT come here! The service department will swindle you!!! My husband brought in his 2023 Bronco Sport for the usual oil change, before you know it they came up with some BS "since you're approaching 20k miles, here's what needs to be done" and handed him the attached estimate and misled him to thinking that a bunch of unnecessary, and seemingly made-up services were part of the scheduled maintenance. After an hour, he received a call from Carlos saying that his coolant was completely dried and suggested that they suspect a leak and that they need to run a pressure test that would add an extra $289 in charges in addition to made-up recommended services in the amount of $883.45!!! Never once did a Check Engine light came on, no burning smells, weird sound or leak that would even indicate there was anything wrong. When we came back to pick up the car (yes, I made sure to come with this time!), I proceeded to make Carlos explain all the phony add-ons he told my husband is needed at this mileage checkpoint. Of course, he started spitting out generic BS he can't quite articulate thinking I don't know what Ford listed as required services at 20k miles! I asked him how he can begin to make my husband subscribe for things they "thought" the car needs even before popping the hood open and perform a complete inspection? After a while he even agreed that not all listed services really applied since the car has low mileage! I told him he was unethically pushing services that he knew was NOT necessary. I'm sure he didn't expect me, AS A WOMAN, would know exactly what needs to be done at this mileage juncture...nor was he expecting to get interrogated and admonished by THIS woman. I am sick to my stomach that my husband got conned by a very dishonest establishment and I am very disheartened to be proven right to NEVER trust the dealership service department. This is a very expensive lesson to be learned...please spare yourself and avoid this dealership like the plague!!!! P.S. I went to Fremont Ford with the intentions of simply looking at a Raptor. It was 1 of 3 different trucks i was looking at from 3 different locations in the south bay. Rahman was amazing and knew so much about the vehicle and let me test drive it. Tareq also helped and quoted me an unbeatable price for my trade in. Then i sat down with Mustafa. Usually the finance guy is the "final boss" of your purchase and generally is always trying to upsell you on everything. And i get it, its a business, they have to make money. But Mustafa is not your typical "final boss" finance guy. You can tell he genuinely cares about the customer. He was upfront about everything. I never once felt pressured and he made sure to explain everything to me. Mustafa and i probably spent more time talking about work, family and life vs the actual car sale. Update on the 2018 Fiesta. Car has been great. Very few issues. We recently had an issue with the door actuator and windshield moulding replaced. Not exactly inexpensive. Have to give him the credit he deserves for going out of his way to explain our options and guide us through the process. Never felt pressured or rushed. Stand out service. Definitely wouldn't recommend. Not only do they do a poor job, but they also try to scam you. Used to take my car for regular maintenance and service there for way too long. Yes, dealerships are always more expensive but I didn't have time to look for a small shop and they are conveniently located to me. Twice I brought my car in, only for scheduled maintenance and twice they gave it back to me with a problem!!! Once they forgot to balance the tires and the car was awfully vibrating and loud; another one, a few hours after picking the car, I got a red alarm telling me the brake system had an issue. At that time, the manager for service was Peter and he was a nice guy, trying to fix the mess of the technicians with a smile. Peter eventually left. The last time I brought my car for scheduled maintenance, it was another manager. They quoted me for thousands dollars of repairs to be done on my car, telling me the clutch was slipping, that the control arm was gonna break.... I finally took my car to 2 local garages in San Jose with the Ford quote for second opinion and they both told me the clutch and control arm had not issue. I have never returned to Ford since. read more

I have been servicing my vehicle at Fremont Ford for several years since purchasing my car there, and until recently I had generally positive experiences. Unfortunately, my latest visit for an oil change was extremely disappointing. I went in using a coupon that Fremont Ford had sent me in January 2026, but the coupon was not honored during checkout. More concerning, after the oil change, the maintenance technician left some nuts loose on my vehicle, which caused dangerous noises while I was driving home. It took me a couple of days to realize the issue originated from the service visit. I submitted honest feedback through the dealership survey I received afterward. Shortly after, Carmen from management contacted me, apologized for the experience, and offered two resolutions: 1. A mobile technician to fix the issue. 2. A full refund for the service. However, these offers were made only after asking if I would update my review positively, which I agreed to because I believed the issue would genuinely be resolved. To their credit, the mobile technician came quickly and fixed the loose parts immediately. I was then told that because I had paid in cash, a refund check would take a few days and required higher management approval. For the next 2-3 weeks, I followed up once per week and was repeatedly told the refund was "waiting approval" and would arrive soon. The refund never came. Eventually, my calls started going directly to voicemail, and I stopped receiving responses entirely. At this point, I have largely given up on receiving the refund, but I believe the public should know about the way this situation was handled. Mistakes can happen in any service department, but failing to follow through on promised resolutions and avoiding customer communication afterward is unacceptable. read more

First of all, I gave the owner of this business ample time to respond to an email that was sent to him via Yelp before I posted any kind of review, negative or positive. He did not respond. So here I go with a public review of this business. The staff was professional. It was easy to get somebody on the phone. That was not the problem. I made an appointment with the service department to have an alarm system installed in my bronco. I was also to pick up from the parts department, a dog seat cover for the backseat and a battery jumper. The parts were in. I asked the parts department, would you like me to bring the alarm, which was in a box, to the service technician and he said no. We will take care of that for you. Mind you, I drove one hour and 15 minutes all the way from North Beach, San Francisco to Newark. I left my home at 8:30 in the morning and got to Fremont Ford at a little bit before 10 a.m. I had a 10 AM appointment. At 11 o'clock, they still hadn't brought my vehicle in for service. What is the whole concept of having an appointment? I don't think they know. 1130, my vehicle still has not been brought into the service bay. 3 o'clock rolls around and my vehicle still is not ready. I asked the service representative when my vehicle would be ready and she said in about a half hour. 345 finally rolls around and they said the vehicle is ready. I've been there for five hours and 45 minutes! This alarm system is plug and play. Pretty straightforward. Shouldn't take any more than 10 minutes to install . When the vehicle was brought out front, I asked the service advisor if I could have the manual for the alarm system that was installed and possibly a tutorial by the technician who installed it. She had a perplexed look in her face because the alarm was never installed! They didn't put it in in all that time! I said what did you do in all that time? All they did is slip a little seat cover on which I could do in less than 30 seconds! All that wasted time! I was irate! They had my vehicle there all that time and only put a little seat cover on the backseat! They didn't even put the alarm in! What kind of a business is this? Can you really trust them with your life to do things properly? I don't know? They didn't respond to my email that I sent them so obviously they don't care. Do you want a business who doesn't care about how you feel about the service that you received? Well, they finally put the alarm in after I insisted that I would not come back from San Francisco. It only took them about 10 to 15 minutes to put the alarm in along with a perimeter light. So with that said, I would proceed with caution before you do any business with Fremont Ford. they obviously don't know the definition of an appointment. It's like having a reservation for a rental car and not having it ready for you when you go to the reservation desk. It's like having an airline ticket only to find that your seat is already taken by someone else. They need to all look up the meaning of "reservation and appointment" Time is very valuable to me. I have fewer tomorrow's than yesterdays. I feel they owe me something. read more

Fremont Ford - Newark I recently switched from leasing to purchasing a vehicle, and unfortunately the experience left a lot to be desired. I was called in with only about 10 minutes before closing, which meant we rushed through the entire process; something that made me very uncomfortable, especially for a major financial decision like buying a car. When I turned in my leased vehicle and took ownership of my new purchase, the car was not in acceptable condition. It was dirty and was missing floor mats. I was told to come back in 3-4 days and they would have the mats ready and detail the car. It has now been over a week and a half, and I still have not received my floor mats -- and it has been raining. I feel like I was just pushed through as a sale rather than treated as a valued customer. We took our new truck to Fremont Ford for a recall service. The best part of the experience was Mark our service provider. He was friendly and professional. Initially we were told if there wasn't a problem it would be 3 hours. We went off for breakfast and received a notification that it would be ready at 4. (We dropped it off at 8:30). We were heading back to request a loaner when Mark called to say it was ready. Although they washed the truck the technician got oil in it when driving it so we had to clean the floor when we got home. The worst part of the experience was the manager. We noticed a protective part was missing from one side. We asked the sales manager about it. He's attitude was uncaring and dismissive. Although we tried to determine if it was standard or not he minimized our concerns and just said to order it on Amazon. Terrible NEGLIGENCE MECHANIC on the part of the shop. I took my 2024 Lightning in, and it took them a full month just to repair a single battery cell. They finally handed the vehicle back to me, but just 10 days later--while I was driving down the street--the protective metal shield covering the electrical components fell off. This is an extremely dangerous situation; had that happened on the highway, it could have resulted in a terrible accident for both me and other people. The service was abysmal. Be extremely careful and inspect your vehicle thoroughly. The only thing they said to me was, "We're sorry--it " We didn't assemble the protector properly; we forgot to put in all the bolts" was a mistake that never should happen have I went through a terrible, traumatic experience. More or less second the bad reviews about customer service. Ford does not allow appointments in the afternoon or weekend for 'Service Autotrack' notification, which is related to the computer system that controls my transmission. So I take a day off work and the scheduling lady at Fremont Ford was rude and wouldn't make my appointment, saying she needed my VIN number. Why do I need to go get my VIN number to make an appointment, that is the protocol. OKK I guess you can just hang up your phone and call the other Ford Dealers a few miles away because this place is bogus. read more

Called Ahmad Nasiry with the price I was willing to pay and it was very easy to get a deal done. I made an appointment to come by (I had already test driven the model) and he had the paperwork lined up and ready to go. He is persistent when trying to reach out, but I would also say that he has been great about follow up and making sure I didn't have further questions about the car. I asked him about a bedliner, and he gave me the option of getting a factory liner or getting a spray in bedliner, and I didn't go with his guy just because it wasn't as convenient to get to. Sorry for the lengthy post ahead of time- Bought this truck in April (the truck is perfect we couldn't be happier). Came in with a pre approved loan with my bank, they asked if they wanted me to check around other banks & i said no (i had a good rate with my personal bank) I later got notified that they checked THREE times. The finance manager (Mustafa i believe) pushed and pushed to check one more bank & i finally agreed, he called a bank in front of us, and asked for a 5.9% rate (i was already approved for 5.29), THEN, come to find out when we check our loan bank, our rate is 6.1%. Then, the ad had mentioned floor mats, our truck did not come with floor mats, when we mentioned it, they said they would order and deliver to us, it's June, why do we not have our floor mats yet?? Lastly, again, it's JUNE, we still haven't received any registration, we have someone look into it, apparently there's a Lien on the truck, we call the dealership to get it fixed and they tried to bullshit us and say "oh the paperwork got lost". No, just admit you messed up. I'm so incredibly frustrated and thank god we live far away because I will never return and once we get our registration hopefully we never have to deal with them again. read more
