Nice quiet little neighborhood park. There are two large play structures, one geared towards younger toddlers aged 2-5. There are two baby swings as well. Huge sand areas, which has a large dinosaur fossil for kids to dig at. The special thing about this playground are the unicorn and dragon statues that the kiddos enjoyed climbing on. A couple small picnic tables by the playground/sand area, and benches throughout the park. No restrooms. Otherwise, there is pretty big field, and a small walking path. There are a some scattered, very old 'exercise' stations along the path that are kind of funny to read (ie for the squat station, it recommends do 3 for fun, 10 for a work-out and 20 for competition...) read more

quiet, dog friendly, & shaded picnic spot. we haven't dined outdoors since covid19 & decided it was time to let loose & enjoy a meal outdoors (away from the crowds of course). there were trees around the park that provided plenty of shade. although it was 91degF outside, underneath the shade we felt a breeze & it was cool enough we were able to nap without sweating. we were happy to see that the trash cans were not over filled & there was no litter around. we appreciated how there was a facilities person maintaining the park. the kid features were blocked off (thankfully). however, there were pull up bars & oblique & stretching stations. we were not brave enough to attempt to workout in 91degF & oh ya, didn't want to touch at all because of covid19! be smart people. would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy a peaceful picnic with their loved ones! read more

Cute little playground located at the Fremont Park in Santa Clara, California. My daughter enjoyed trotting along between the two large play structures. There were also dragon and pegasus / unicorn statues in the sand to climb on, a sand play table and two swings for tiny tots. Half of the playground is rubberized turf and the other half is covered with sand. The only downfall with this cute park is that there are no public restrooms. Newly remodeled this city of Santa Clara park has a great kid's playground. There are only a couple of small picnic tables (seat 4) and the trees are too immature to offer much shade on hot days. This park is located next to the city of Santa Clara Senior Citizen Center which is fantastic (too bad it is just for folks 60+). It is great to see young & old folks playing together outside. Kudos to the city of Santa Clara for paring this 2 things together! read more

Nothing spectacular but it's appealing. It's got two play structures - one for the younger kids and one for the older. There is no restrooms here and but you will find a water fountain close by. What I like about this park is actually the people . The caretakers who come here are friendly and accommodating . It also had some grass area you can play on . It's partly shaded too read more

I love the calm environment surrounding this park. The times I've brought my son to play, people have been friendly and kids are able to play with no worries. It's a clean park, plenty of parking around and the restrooms are located inside the senior citizens center. Cute but it is a little park. They have two playgrounds one for bigger kids and one for little ones. Best part is the dinosaur bones you can dig up, just make sure you cover them up for the next diggers. The playgrounds are side by side which is ideal if you have two children with you, makes it very easy to watch them both. This park is always clean and there is always someone for your little ones to play with. read more

ah memories. I came here as a toddler, to play in the sand, and as an elementary school-aged kid to do the little circuit exercise thing with my dad. I used to come here drunk as a teen, climbing on top of the splintery swing set, and would walk into the senior center, where they were dancing to the country song Elvira, and be tripped out. this is a pretty small park, and gets very few visitors, so you generally have it to yourself if you are bringing your toddlers to play. They've dramatically upgraded the senior center, and now that my dad is old, he gets to go work out here for free. I imagine his buff, 55 year old self running in circles around some tiny 80 year old ladies, and I have to smile. the senior center closes at 6 pm I think, old people need their rest. read more

I really love this park- lots of green grassy areas, two playgrounds (ages 2-5 and 5-12) and lots of shade! The only challenge is that there isn't any public bathrooms so be sure to ask kids before you leave the house to go. There is a senior citizen center next door but they were closed on Sunday morning. Because it is on a corner, there is plenty of street parking. It gets a lot of kids on the weekend but isn't that part of the fun?! This is a great clean park in a central location where your kids will get fun and exhausted enough to get that energy out! I personally like their animal statues and that they have seating areas. This park is really nice. I have only been on the playground. It is neat that the toddler area and older kids area are adjacent to each other. Often times a park will have multiple playgrounds around the park making it rather difficult for those with a wide range in age of children to play together. Or the playgrounds are separated by gate. You have to walk a ways to get to the bathroom since the park is near a community center. Too bad there are no shaded areas. read more

I'm so happy to have this park in my neighborhood. My kids and I love the open space, age appropriate play structures. The only thing that I wish it had was a bathroom right next to the play structures. The senior center's bathroom is available during the weekday but after hours you are in a bind, especially if you have toilet training toddlers. read more

I love this park. It's close to our house - but far enough to make me get a wee bit of exercise if I choose to walk there. If we drive, it's like instant park satisfaction since it's literally a two minute drive. Nice, new equipment and nice grounds. I love the liitte neighborhood. I'm still learning about Santa Clara, but I dig the whole farm house, unpretentious vibe that I get in this neighborhood. if only santa clara had a downtown. I'd give it five stars if there was a restroom...there've been some dicey moments with my three year old. other than that it's pretty top notch for a little neighborhood escape. read more

We live close by this park so we are here a few times a week. The big grass area is nice and well maintained. There are some shady areas as well. The only downsize to the grass area is that there is no fence and dogs use it as a toilet. Although I never seen anyone not clean up after their dog. The playground has two areas of equipment for toddlers and big kids. There is sand to play in so bring your sand toys. Only 2 baby swings. I like this park but it needs some more attention. The soft path is starting to get big holes in it which makes the path uneven. There is always trash in the sand. It's nice to have this so close by but it does need some upkeep. read more

Great kiddie park! Very well maintained and fun. Wish we lived around here- I'd be here every day if I could. You can tell there was a lot of thought put in this. Only thing is probably missing a fence that should go around the entire kiddie park as a protection. read more

One of my fav parks in santa clara. Has good parking. Does get hot in the afternoon but at night its a delight. Lots of 2 hr Olds as there aren't as many things for older kids to do. I do see a lot of adults going down the slide. Located near senior center. read more

Needs a restroom and some repair to the spongy mat surrounding the play area which is becoming a trip hazard. Love this park, one of our favorite in Santa Clara. read more
