Zero stars would be more appropriate, false advertising yes they have a pool, that is never open, office, and store never open, our cabin has many spider nest, mosquitoes are horrendous, drinking water near our cabins is not working, it's hotter than hell. Our saving grace is the beach up the street, and the neighboring campground is letting us use their facilities for $10 a day. read more

Good luck sleeping at this place. they rent out golf carts to people and they drive them at all hours into the night. noisy golf carts on gravel/dirt roads only a few feet from your tent. if the noise doesn't drive you insane, the bright lights lighting up your entire tent at 1AM will surely drive you mad. No one enforces quiet hours and people are allowed to drive these obnoxious golf carts all night. read more

As a long time annual at this park, we, along with 4 other families were recently "non-renewed" for the "betterment of the park". Five families ranging in age from 44 to 70 plus years old, each having a park model rig or a large destination trailer and more then a combined 100 camping years between us. Our sad news came in the form of a letter one week before Christmas with a vacate by date of April 1st. Our biggest kick in the heart was the fact that no reason was given to any of us five families for our non-reweal, and when asked we were told we dont have to give you one. As you know this park is in Fremont, Wisconsin and our winters are very long, very cold, and quite unpredictable. As you can imagine trying to remove decks, supports, fire patios and the like was a horrible task as everything was frozen to the ground. Trying to vacate in this manager's time frame was a nightmare. We were, however, able to move within two weeks after her ridiculous date.  My reason for this review is to make folks aware of the lack of respect for her customers and her disgraceful treatment of campers throughout the park.  There are many amenities listed in this park that are to be geared towards the children. The lack of activities personnel, planning, organization and supplies has unfortunately time after time had my 11 year old return back to camp disappointed. The pool is never heated unless it's a holiday weekend and she'll use the excuse that it's broken. Younger toddlers or babies will sometimes poop in the pool. The protocols for sanitizing after that are all wrong as they shock it and open it up within thirty minutes. The chlorine and chemicals are off the charts. We just stopped using the pool all together and spent more time in the lake. The sad part is most dont have that option as you need a boat to get to the swim area. The store closes early. Putt-putt is usually closed due to lack of activities personnel, but if you're lucky enough the store will be open where they have clubs, but it's not a convenient walk back and forth. The lack of care for the restroom facilities is at its lowest ever. Where they did upgrade the counter and sinks, the cleanliness is terrible. The showers are disgusting and shower shoes are definitely a must. Maintenance personnel aren't able to help any campers because they've been told not to.  Due to the unfortunate treatment of her staff, past and present, that is why there is a lack of activities personnel, care and pride of ownership in this park. The moral of everyone is awful because of this manager Christina. She's never available to speak with nor is she ever accessible to speak with on the phone, but if you go into town for lunch you seem to always see her at the local bar.  I'm not sad anymore for being asked to move. It forced my hand for a change for the better that will not only provide a more positive camping experience for my family, but also save us $1500 a year on camping fees.  Please, my fellow campers, save your money and spare yourself all the negative feelings that unfortunately come with this park. read more

I have to be honest here. We were there for 30 minutes and then left. This is a zero star park. The Assistant Manager Jenny was extremely nice and very sensitive to the problems we encountered in the park. She gave us a full refund with a smile and we just kept on driving. The 1 star is for strictly for her :) Lot's of problems here. This is a huge rv park that seems to be in bad need of repair.. The dirt roads are very difficult to navigate. Overgrown trees + sharp turns make it almost impossible to move a rig to your site without hitting branches etc. A very large rig would not be able to make some of the turns. BE CAREFUL. Check your power. Our 30 amp connection kept tripping their breaker. We were only running the AC. (It was very hot and humid outside) They have very young people working important positions. They are nice and polite but unqualified to handle the numerous problems. Great potential but rundown and in poor repair. read more

Love this place! We rented a cottage for the weekend and we were very happy with the accommodations. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. Every staff member that we came in contact with was polite and friendly. We'll definitely go back! My only piece of advice is if you have a bad back, bring some sort of cushion to sleep on. The mattresses are not very thick, but you are "camping" after all. Again, this would not stop me from staying there again, this place is beautiful! We rented a golf cart and took a couple tours of the grounds and that was fun. I highly recommend! read more

From booking to pulling out, this was a mess. After booking over the phone months ago & asking for an email receipt, my husband called back multiple times to confirm reservation for the site and specific total. We never received any email confirmation of any kind, but were told each time over the phone which site number we had as well as the balance. Upon our arrival, the registration personnel gave us a different site and charged us an additional amount. When we asked what changed in the last three days since our last call, she said we were wrong and that we owe money. No courtesy, no budging. Ok - we let it go, just paid the balance and went on to park and try to have some family fun. At our campsite, which was next to a small pond, it was near impossible to park our camper in our assigned spot without dropping in to said pond. My husband is an experienced driver & machinery operator so he is no stranger to backing trailers into tight spots, but getting around the oddly placed pond in the middle of the road and avoiding the other campers and trees was difficult enough that we ended up driving through the field to get to our spot. We felt bad doing it, but didn't see any safer options. It rained a ton, which is obviously not the fault of the campground, but the whole campsite & field surrounding us was a complete SWAMP & mosquito heaven. I would hope that when it is dry out that the west field is not a swamp, but I almost kind of doubt it. For amenities, the shower house had absolutely no lights on the outside and it is super dark at night, so make sure you have a flashlight. I understand that you don't want to attract insects to the buildings, but it was a bit dangerous to walk up and down slippery stairs in the pitch black dark. The pool/water slide had the weirdest hours (Covid & understaffing?), but was also not available due to weather (again, weather not being the campground's fault, but just unfortunate). There were some redemptions: The laundry machines were reasonable ($1.00 to wash or fry) and they worked well. With 3 boys on bikes and a rainy weekend, this was very handy. lol There was a good band on Saturday night that was fun. Upon checkout on Sunday, the registration person (different from check in person) was very kind and refunded our overcharged balance. She explained there was probably a change in rates since we initially booked, and the computer must have adjusted. Unfortunately, the cons (and the already waaaay too expensive rates) outweigh the pros and we will definitely not be going back. read more

This campground, has over the past few years, become a joke, under the leadership of the "manager" Christina. This park has more things unrepaired and broken then not. The pool heater does not work, we have seen sewage leaking up thru a manhole cover by the swamp, no security to speak of, thefts are a common place thing here, it is really a horrible place. Which is sad, it used to be such a nice park, took a turn for the worse when the current Manager started. The park is unsafe with no security or gate at all, anyone can come and go at anytime of the day or night, no questions asked. Roads are total crap, noting but potholes, no upkeep of any kind here. Do yourself a favor, drive right past this place and go elsewhere, anywhere but here. like I said STAY AWAY!! read more

If you are not Caucasian, you should not go to this campground. The administration of this park harasses anybody not of their race. We were here this past Labor Day weekend for the third year. In the past we had no problems. Apparently they are under new management, this new management constantly came by our cabins and constantly harassed us with any little excuse. We paid over $2,000 in "extra" fees which we paid as long as we were left alone, now we see this was just a racial thing. It's very sad for us to say this was our last year there. I highly encourage people to stay away from this horrible establishment that is extremely racist. read more

We booked with you a party of 3 families 3 sites total of 14 people. We requested the sites we used last time we stayed with you and the day before we arrived "management" moved us. I was told to review the booking as you have the right to move us at anytime. And that it was your "corporate policy" (worse thing to ever say to a customer). Our original sites were not occupied the whole time we were there and had a pop up, trailer-not even an rv, and a tent on it. We all have 30-40 foot travel trailers and we're positioned right by the playground and had kids constantly running through our sites. This was the worse trip ever and we were flat out ignored when we asked why we were moved and no one could tell us other then it's a management decision and corporate policy. We will never visit your campground again and your staff is rude!!! read more

We went for Mother's Day weekend for the white bass fishing. They are spawning and running in the Wolf River. We had reservations for Friday-Sun for a RV spot on the river with water/electric hook up and had reserved a boat for the weekend. We arrived late Friday night and found out site. Saturday morning when we went to get our boat, the gentleman in the Bait Shop (where boat rental is also done) informed us that we did not have a reservation. Mind you, we had two conversations with a person at this resort regarding our boat reservation. We went and talked with the manager at the main office, Wendy. Wendy was great. She had great customer service skills and explained that they were not only having possible system issues but also a person in their office who was doing the wrong thing. She set us up with a pontoon boat for Saturday and did not charge us. Thank you! She also reserved a boat for us for sunday ( johnboat). We had forgotten to bring buns for our brats for dinner so at 4:30pm we walked up to the General Store to get some and the store was closed (normally open til 8pm). We visited the Bait Shop to buy some firewood. They are normally open until 8pm as well, they were closing at 6pm. This was advertised as a big "pamper mom" weekend and their "amenities" weren't open when they should have been. While we had a good time, we have been to other Yogi campgrounds that were much better. I am not sure that we will visit this one again. They need to supply their staff with some soft skills training and have the offered amenities open when they should be. Lastly, it was quite pricey to stay here. You can get full hook up at a KOA campground for 30 dollars, this was 138 dollars for two nights. The campground was clean and people did obey the "quiet time" rules. However, the neighbors across the channel were drunk, fighting and loud both nights. read more

KKK Campground should be its NEW real name!!! This been our 3rd year at Jellystone Park but apparently they are under NEW management not allowing African Americans or Hispanic people at their premises. My family and I had the worst Labor Day weekend at this inferno location. DISCRIMINATORY and UNHELPFUL STAFF. Security HARASS my entire family with pity little things every minute of the day, spending more time talking to the staff members to figure out how to keep them happy for them not to kick us out and living my family with out a place to stay. I will definitely not be going there again. After spending $2,000 for our cottages, management told me I could not come back to Jellystone because we COOKED too much and we were just to many people all together making awful lots of noise. So if you have a family reunion or just to many kids, African American, or Hispanic this is not a place for you!! read more
