This vintage mall is actually a breath of fresh air when it comes to vintage malls. So much of these kinds of places have cute stuff mixed in with a bunch of rubbish. This place seems to keep the rubbish level way down and focuses on the fabulous retro qualities older items have. There are some beautiful vintage furniture and lamps in here as well as coutless other trinkets to marvel at! What makes this store different from the vintage malls that I have gone to is that they have a very impressive vinyl selection that covers all kinds of music genres. That in of itself is worth taking a peak into this awesome store that gives you a positive aspect to "blast from the past" and no previous regrets for old things you once wore. the merchandise really emphasizes the best of for whatever decade it represents. read more

We came here because a friend was in town and she wanted to check out vintage shops in Fremont. We didn't end up buying anything, but this place is like a really cool museum! There is so much to see, and some of the older items are a good reminder of what things used to look like... like old Pyrex tupperware, or old sports jerseys, sports cards, figurines, etc. It was really interesting and I probably could've spent an hour or so in there just carefully looking through stuff. read more

I am not a huge fan of Fremont because it is so busy there all the time and parking is such a pain, but I will suffer through all that to spend an hour or two at this amazing vintage shop! Things really do change here daily and if I could, I would shop here all the time. The prices are reasonable depending on which vendor it is and last time I was there I even heard a customer ask the nice store clerk if she could call the vendor and see if they would accept another price then listed for a mid-century desk...and she did and the vendor did! I have purchased some very cool items here. The last time I was there I discovered you can park for free in the parking garage under PCC. As to not feel guilty, I did make a stop in PCC and made a purchase. :) read more

This vintage mall is the best place for nostalgia lovers, people who take pride in being weird, and anyone who wants to start a collection of fluid preserved specimens. It's floor-to-ceiling eye candy for vintage fiends and deserves at least an hour's time. Even if you don't play on buying anything, this place deserves a visit. I especially liked browsing the huge assortment of art prints (conveniently organized by subject!), pop culture glassware, and old books. While many of the things seemed overpriced, I did see a lot of reasonably priced items. I purchased a matted 1960s playing card of a cartoon flower child, another adorable playing card for $1, and a Mickey Mouse stamp set. You will surely find treasure here. read more

What a fantastic find! I had been hunting for mid-century or vintage furniture for weeks and was starting to get really frustrated. Sometimes you have to revisit places over and over again and even then the asking price can be absurd. I finally saw Fremont Vintage Mall on Yelp and thought I'd take a short drive north. I'm so glad I did! For less than 300 bucks, I found a mid-century sideboard in near mint condition that I'm using as a dresser + storage, an adorable little teak end table, and a weird side table that has a small swiveling platform atop three long legs. Plus, Jaime, the owner was kind enough to deliver the biggest piece for a nominal fee on his way home from the store. Having been looking for a while, I know I would have spent 500+ elsewhere. Although they needed a little bit of cleaning, all three pieces are in top-notch shape (save a wonky leg), especially the sideboard. I'm pleased as punch! The shop itself has plenty to rummage through, with a few consignment pieces. I was impressed with the quality of the items and the care that has been put into the upkeep of the store (some vintage places get a little, er, grungy). There are clothes, records, knick knacks, decorations, furniture..you name it. If you're looking to add a little charm to your space without spending a fortune, go here without hesitation. Really cool underground vintage "mall" in Seattle. I think it's a bit pricey but I know every city has a different idea of how much vintage should cost. I like the way everything is set up based on their distributor. While there is a ton of stuff I didn't find it overwhelming sorting though things and I feel like I was able to see everything without digging through piles of stuff. Wonderful, interesting place! Some items are a little pricier, but there is something here for everyone. Got some decent records (for reasonable prices) and a great leather bomber jacket. They have good priced records, interesting if expensive art prints, cool vintage clothing, furniture, fun tchotchkes, and helpful staff. You could spend hours checking out their expansive inventory. A nice place to roam as the place is divvied up by housewares, knickknacks, clothes, albums, etc. Very whimsical selection in a fun way. I found two 1960s era wooden teacher desks for around $250+ which is decent. I also found Michael Jackson's Thrilla album in wax. It's definitely worth a browse if you're house shopping and don't want to deal with Craigslist. read more

What a fun find! I was on my own to explore for the day so as I roamed the Fremont neighborhood, I stumbled upon this "mall." I even passed it at first, but figured I had time to kill, so I went back. Definitely worth checking out, even as I'm not usually a thrift/vintage shopper. Oh what fun was this place to look at, and I can see why they call this a mall, as it was huge, and seemed to never end, with more and more rooms. Again, I don't usually frequent these places, but I felt like this was a true vintage shop, and not just old junk. It was all very well curated in there. It was especially fun seeing Supersonics memorabilia. Icing on the cake was finding two sunglasses in the exact shape I had given up on finding...for around $18 total. That was a steal to me, especially as they looked and functioned as if they were brand new. Fremont is worth checking out, since you never know what you may find, and a great place to go if looking for a particular signature house item. read more

Who knew McDonald glasses we got as kids would become a hot item?!!! And that our granny's faux fir jacket would be something we'd really want after even she was over it?!!! This vintage mall is super cute and they've organized everything in a really cool way. Going through each room is like walking back through a time machine. I don't keep memorabilia but this store makes me wish I had. I didn't find the items too expensive. Nor were any of them damaged from being that old. Its sad when you can't leave a 0 star on Yelp. I am beyond pissed off right now..it's pretty sad when you walk into a store and you walk through the entire store just to be asked to see what is in your bag...if it's the policy that's fine but there were NUMEROUS individuals carrying bags or backpacks and were never asked. My husband being African American was definitely singled out..upon leaving we asked another gentleman who was African American and he too was asked to check his bag. I will NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS STORE EVER AGAIN AND SHAME ON THEM FOR DEMONSTRATING SUCH RACISM...I hope this isn't a demonstration of Fremont Washington's attitude towards people of color. read more

Talk about unprofessional. Been in once before and the associates were rude. Went in today and witnessed them being flat out racist. They approached a fellow shopper (who was African American ) about his bag claiming he needed to check it in. He politely said he would leave the store with his family. Yes it's the policy but I there were multiple peoples with backpacks and totes in the store. Most that were walked right by. The employees were approached by another shopper by the way they handled the situation and they laughed it off. Then approached another African American shopper about his back and he told them he would leave as well. Not once approaching anyone else. NEVER GOING BACK. Will definitely be telling all my friends and family to avoid this place like the plague. I was disgusted and can't believe I saw this first hand. read more

If you're touring the area, Fremont is a great spot to hit outside of downtown Seattle. They have the bridge troll, the Lenin statue, and this awesome antique and vintage mall. I once recommended this place now and purchased stuff here but never again. I had a small purse backpack about 7x6. I was pulled out of a bunch of people to have my purse behind the counter after I used my inhaler because I was having an asthma attack due to the dust and stuffiness. I had to explain that this was not a backpack and a purse (I bought it in the purse section, and I've taken into several music venues and festivals). Once I was taken over there, I literally saw 3 other people with actual large backpacks (like jansport) that were a different race than me. Though, the girl working that pulled me aside similar to the race as me. I felt she was segregating me because she didn't do anything with other people different race who actually had backpacks. I was embarrassed and disgusted, and I was uncomfortable with the whole situation . Especially not having my wallet and medication with me, I decided not to buy anything and left. I recommend going to a thrift store rather than here you find the stuff there cheaper and you won't have to deal with disgusting judgment. read more

My family and I love roaming around vintage/antique stores to see what diamonds in the rough may appear. Having been to a few, I have to say that the Fremont Vintage Mall is very well curated. I could have easily spent a few paychecks here. It's very eclectic in its variety including vintage shoes, a great vinyl selection, and an array of cool technologies from the past. There were a bunch of cool old cameras. The clothing selection was also great. Make sure you carve out at least an hour to carefully browse every corner and crevice of the store because there's something for everybody here. My only qualm was that some items seemed to be on the pricey side, but that's the livelihood of antique/vintage vendors. So if you can go in with the expectation that this is a higher end shop I think you will have a great experience. Thank you Fremont Vintage Mall for the great night of shopping. *** CALLING ALL CARS! CALLING ALL CARS!**** Accidentally discovered this gem yesterday while looking for a coffee place. Ended up spending more time and money than I would have liked. This antique mall is filled with delicious goodness- from the totally bitchin retro string pendant lamps to the brightly colored Shawnee pottery that my mom collects, to the gorgeous danish modern sideboard I may have drooled on accidentally.... it goes on and on. ALL AT 20% OF FOLKS! They lost their lease! BUMMER! They're only there until the 31st. I almost made it out of there unscathed, until I saw the record bin, and staring me in the face was Innervisions by Stevie Wonder. For $3. So I ended up with 7 more records and I only spent $22! This place seriously has the most random knick knacks ever but not thrown together in the haphazard fashion of flea markets where you can't find anything in the gigantic cluster of goods. Everything from the 1930's onward (just guestimating) spills out over two different floors. Top floor has mostly vintage clothing separated into men's/women's, accessories, books, music, jewelry and even old typewriters and bicycles. The bottom floor especially throws you back into a black & white TV set with chairs, armoires, desks and mirrors that are reminiscent of the days when Lucille Ball ruled the comedy scene. Prices are reasonable and you don't feel like there's a "look but don't touch" policy. Great place for vintage (or vintage-looking) jewelry, faded magazines of yore and one-of-a-kind shoes (especially if you're a size 6 or under, when did average feet size get bigger??) There's hidden gems everywhere you turn! Each visit seems like a completely new experience. 5 stars for being in a class of its own compared to second-hand stores such as Buffalo or Goodwill. $1000 dollars. Yes you read that right. $1000 dollars for a nice looking couch that I just quoted needed $800 in repairs. First time I sat on it at my house I heard a really loud crack, then the middle collapsed. I flipped it over and the entire underneath is shattered. It's all particle board. that is ONE thousand Dollars for a couch that I now have to call to have carried away for recycling because of the no return policy. I also purchased a used AM / FM Radio that never worked. I guess it was never tested in the store. Stick with the stuff that's not vintage and you'll be ok. But I'd be very wary of anything vintage, that's mechanical or furniture. read more

THIS antique mall happens to get the sloppy seconds of Sonic Boom records which WAS right across the street. Go in the back for some of the coolest 'housewares' in this part of the 'universe'. Beautifully kept couches, tables and lamps from the sixties through eighties. Normally I wouldn't want the secret getting out. It's a gem of a vintage store - you can find everything in there from 70s shag carpet to bicycles to the most fabulous vintage dresses! WOW! This place is the retro ultimate! Between the dozens of vendors and price points, there is SO much to look at - clothes, furniture, jewelry, kitchen stuff, records, books ... !! The place is so big with such variety that I would easily make it my destination for a Sunday afternoon. I'm not sure if it's the vendors that the place attracts, but most of the merch seems very Madmen/retro chic... you won't find much Victorian antiques and lace - not THAT vintage! The selection was perfect for me. I also had an employee offer to hold the sweater in my profile picture at the counter for me so I could continue to shop - nice gesture; unusual for that level of attention in a vintage/antique shop. read more

Great selections of old records. The store has a lot of vinyl, CD and cassette. I even found a book about Chinese Rock'n'Roll history, which amazed me and my girlfriend a lot. We came upon this place wandering around the neighborhood in Freemont and almost walked right past it. Very unassuming place from the outside. Then once you're inside, it's like a maze. There's more to look at than we originally thought. Who knows how long we were in there, I think we got lost. My boyfriend chuckled at the vintage toys. Lite Brite, Care Bears, Smurfs, Atari. This is a great place in Seattle. It's the kind of store that gives faith in Seattle having quality vintage stores for a decent price. Even if you're window shopping, this is a great spot to scope out. It's like walking into a bric-a-brac museum. PARKING: Street parking. And it's metered unless you want to walk. I recommend going on a Sunday when it's free to park and you can stroll the Fremont Sunday Street Market for more vintage goods. SELECTION: Clothing, memorabilia, housewares, vinyl, lighting....overall it's the finest selection of crap you don't need. I keep finding some really great retro clothes in here. PRICING: Fair. I'll come right out and say it... I hate the name. It makes me think of a flee market or rummage hall. It's nothing like that. This place is way better than that and I don't feel the need to take a scalding hot shower that leaves my skin lobster red when I leave. It's a huge mecca for stuff you forgot about. Loads of nostalgia, especially for this awesome city. Books, music, toys, clothes, and furniture galore... My one regret is years ago not buying this beautiful purple formica bench from a bowling alley. I really struck out on that decision (Wocka wocka). No seriously though, this place is worth going to. Do make sure you give yourself ample time to browse though because like I said, the place is huge. I also recommend liking their Facebook page so you can get up to date info. Awesome collection of cheap records - $1-$2 range, mostly stuff you would actually want to listen to, not just Goodwill dollar bin junk. And endless rows of funky throwback stuff from the past 5 or 6 decades. Everything from NES games, to "Vote for Regan" Cigarette packs, to 8mm projectors, to furniture, to clothes, and then plenty more in between. Check it out for sure! read more
