At this Goodwill store, you'll be relieved that the garment racks are not lengthy, and are also curated for thresholds of wearability and quality. Within 1/2 hour of entering I found a belt and the right color summer top I was hoping to find. Prices were $5.99. Grateful that it wasn't jacked up like other thrift stores "for inflation." Some of us are here to sidestep inflation! I didn't have the energy to walk down the perilous stairway into the household goods basement but it looked equally nicely laid out. Props to the sophisticated and warm, engaging staff who worked the floor offering humor, second opinions, and help finding mirrors. Other than the lack of mirrors, (ONLY 2 on the floor) this place seems like it will keep giving lucky finds and useful bits and bobs of clothing! Some racks dont have clear signs of what they are so it makes it tough to find what types of clothing you want. I like that they have a red tag $1.99 day which makes it fun to shop. I bought two of them and the total was $4.40 and wanted to use 20 pennies and 2 dimes but the cashier said the manager's policy is no more than 10 pennies. Too bad.. even Mcdonalds accepts more than 10. read more

I love this place, I can't leave here without finding an awesome piece of artwork, or cool table or even some great dishes! I enjoy the deals I get here. Especially with the rising costs everywhere it's comforting that there's still a place that's affordable. Not everyone is a millionaire in Seattle and it's awesome to know that this goodwill keeps it affordable for the community around them. Even their customer service is top notch! This is such a gem, this goodwill is too notch. Everything is organized better than any other goodwill I've been too and they have lots of name brand stuff like lulu and Zara. My only complaint was that things were pricey which I understand nice things should be priced a little higher but in the end all those things were donated so every other item being 25$ and higher is a bit much. But finding a nice pair of lululemon leggings for $25 is still an awesome deal, I'll definitely be back when I'm in that part of town again. read more

A great location and nicely organized. I was actually surprised by how big this Goodwill store was! There are two stories! The upper has clothes and the bottom section has cooking ware, toys, and other items. I didn't see anything I wanted to buy but I enjoyed looking at their different Halloween and seasonal items available. It's a pretty busy location but definitely worth a stop if there's something you're looking to thrift or if you're just browsing, you might find a hidden gem. read more

I was greeted when i entered by their onsite security person who was smiling, welcoming and very helpful at giving me a brief overview of where to find items within the store, as this was my first visit. Other staff was very friendly and helpful and checkout was friendly and efficient. Most items within the store were price higher than i had expected though, for being a Goodwill Store that everything they sell has been donated. The prices did prohibit me from purchasing everything i had come for. That being said my experience there was enjoy and i was told at checkout that one day a week ( Tuesdays i think) they do offer $1 sales. read more

One of the best Goodwills I've ever been in? Absolutely! This store is clean, organized, and well lit upstairs and downstairs. I found some great finds including a brand new Camelback pack (14.99), brand new Karl Lagerfeld purse (9.99), beautiful statement necklace (9.99), and gold buckle bracelet (4.99). I used to love goodwill, I bought most of my clothes here but this company is absolutely out of control. I went in this week & found a cute H&M sweater. But was shocked that the price was $24.99. This Seattle Goodwill confirmed what I've been suspecting for a while: The vast majority of our Goodwills here in the SF Bay Area are crap. This one is so clean and nicely arranged with quality items that it feels like a regular retail store. I actually don't mind junky stores all that much but when they have the nerve to be junky AND overpriced - like ours here - it pisses me off. I feel like this one deserves to charge a tad more for the care that their workers put into making the store so nice, especially when I compare it to the broken, sticky messes I usually find closer to home. The housewares department is downstairs...there's an elevator if you need it. read more

Love this location! It's so organized and it doesn't smell musky and dirty. You can tell they take good care of their items and clean the store often. They kept it very clean and organized all the clothes, books, accessories, home decor, electronics and even organized the books by theme. I'm sure that took alot of work to do and up keep. Tried to make a donation, but was told by employees that donation hours end at 5 instead of 7 like the website says. I let them know that the website was incorrect, and they said they have repeatedly tried to get the hours changed online but corporate won't let them. Update the website!! These employees shouldn't have to deal with the information being incorrect, and I'm sure they frequently deal with customers who are upset by this. I work in customer service, and would feel so incredibly disrespected by my employer if they did this to me. Do better for your employees! read more

This Goodwill is in a really nice location and is well organized, clean, and busy. There were a lot of working women's blouse wear, some shoes, and there's a small vintage section in the corner of the top floor. Changing rooms are open (as of July 2021). The bottom floor has a ton of books and houseware/Knick Knacks. You can take the stairs down or the elevator if you have a cart with you. Overall, it's a nice location, would browse again! read more

Goodwill has been on one lately. Their prices all over are so high you might as well buy the stuff new. The cap hill and u district goodwills are particularly pricey because they are in "trendy" neighborhoods. On my last trip I saw a feather boa priced for $5, a cute feathered skirt for $20, a pair of sandals for $25 and a frying pan for $15. Not even cast iron!! Goodwill has focused too much on trying to asses what an item is worth without realizing they are a thrift store! These things are used and they got them for free! For these prices I hope they are paying their employees $20 an hour but something tells me that is probably not the case. Also they have a stupid and inefficient dressing room policy, it's 5 items at a time and if you have more than 5 items you have to get back in line to wait to try on the rest!! So inefficient because it adds unnecessary waiting time as people are clearing out items to go stand in line again. Would just be faster if you let people try on all their items at once so they don't have to waste time putting everything back in the basket and shuffling back into line. I still go to this one however because it's close to my house and they do get "trendier" items. I see a lot more name brand clothing labels like zara, j crew, Ann Taylor loft etc here than at goodwills in other neighborhoods. Still makes me mad every time I come here and I see an H&M or forever 21 item priced higher than it probably cost new. read more

Like most Goodwill's the selection is hit and miss. The store is clean and does have some great finds though. Prices are hit and miss as well- sometimes used items cost more then they would brand new at the store and sometimes you get deals you quickly have to snag up. What could make this store better is to have pricing audits from managers - this would also serve as a great way to help build skills for others. Overall though this is a decent Goodwill but does have much room for leadership growth. read more

This Goodwill is probably just what you expect. If you aren't a struggling 20-something you probably just want to use this one for drop off, since there isn't much free parking (there are a few 30 minute spots out front) and everything inside is pretty much donated by other broke 20-somethings. That being said I think if you are in the neighborhood it is worth swinging in. I managed to find two pairs of leather booties, one for 12.99 and half off due to the color tag/day and one for 7.00 but 20% off, we found galvanized tin tubs for planting, lots of yard tools, a scoot bike for 7.00... Don't expect to find a ton of kids clothes or toys, though. What they do have is well-organized, however, which is nice. read more

I'm always addicted when I come here! This places is where I go to when it comes to cloths! I've found some great priced designer pieces, and always my go to for holiday "needs". If your in seattle you got the Westlake (street parking) or this location (parking lot of the far right of the store), not a lot but most Monday's ok wait every Monday they have a spot while everyone is working this is when I go! Hello did you know you can get texts about the colors and their prices (1.79 or 1.49 or 1.29) omg and during the Presidents' Day (Monday) it was an extra 40 off specific colors, come ON! Deals!!! I have been coming to this goodwill for about a year now and it has got progressively worse with pricing items. Today I informed management that they were selling a broken shelf from Ross for 9.99 when the original Ross tag was 18.99. 9 dollar discount on a completely broken and worthless shelf. It was missing screws and only had one of the two shelf's left intact. Should not have even been put out for sale. I told employees and management and informed them this is a rip off but they laughed in my face and said they don't price the items in store and what do I expect from goodwill. I expect fair pricing! I expect you not to sell broken products for absorbent amounts of money and I expect you to not overcharge customers who are looking for cheaper alternatives to buying NEW. They also were selling a used hairy old cat tree a few weeks ago for 200 dollars !! I can buy 3 new cat trees at that price Goodwill is a disgrace to all thrift stores. Huge but still fairly organized. Prices are higher than I've seen at most Goodwills - clothes start at $4 but there were some $50 jackets and things that they clearly marked higher because they're on trend. The first floor is clothes, accessories, currently lots of fun Halloween stuff, and dressing rooms. Downstairs is a treasure trove of housewares including lots of unique planters, which I found impossible to resist. Definitely worth checking out if you're thrifting in the area. read more

I really can't pass up the opportunity to go 'thriftin' when I'm on vacation. For our final stop during our visit to Seattle, Brad and i checked out this large goodwill location and we both found a couple awesome items. He walked away with two cute shirts and some board shorts for $25 and i found a perfect work shirt and black skirt, $6/each. Friendly service from the staff. And you can round up the total purchase amount to the next dollarand they'll donate the change to an organization benefiting schools. Which we both did. read more
