There is some seriously fun stuff in here! My friend and I spent several hours just wandering and poking through everything in here. Lots of very cool vintage furniture and decoration stuff. So much of it reminded me of things my grandma used to have in her house, it was a bit of a trip down memory lane for me! I also found a fabulous genuine red leather trench coat in perfect condition for $30 - I've been looking for one for a while and could not pass it up! Some of the stuff is a little expensive but most of it was actually pretty well priced for vintage stuff. If I would have had the space for them in my apartment I would now have a pair of vintage black leather armchairs for less then $200...perhaps next time! We could've spent hours in this place! Lots of different little stores within the multi-level space and each with their own vintage specialities. Clothes, furniture, musical instruments, much Pyrex and more. There was even a huge taxidermy peacock, in case you're in the market for one of those. Let me just say: WOW! This place is chock, stocked, and fully loaded full of vintage items. If your looking to full fill your Madmen series dreams, then this place will have it for you! 50's/60's furniture, random knick knacks etc. Lots of vintage shoes and clothing ladies!!! And how they had to pry your mitts off of that new Cabbage Patch doll or the new He-Man figure with the battle damage? Fremont Antique Mall is like that, except you've got money of your own now. It's impossible for me to get out of here without a piece of jewelry and a frock or two. And Atlas Clothing has a large presence here which makes it even harder. The jewelry selection really is second to none, especially if you like bling. And me likey bling! I always stop here before I go to Second Screening because, although the selection is not quite as fancy, there is likely to be a gem waiting to be found that will be lower-priced than anywhere else. read more

My absolute fav place to shop in Seattle. I can spend a day shopping there. Great furniture selection (too bad I live in San Francisco), small vintage figures, clothes, shoes, and records! Their records are very reasonably priced compare to other music stores. And they do have a bathroom inside for customers (I do mention bathroom a lot in my reviews, but bathroom presence is a must for all day shopper like me), and it's clean. Best vintage store in Seattle! I took my 12 year old niece here and even she loved it. I went in looking for a tall vintage lamp and had lots of options to choose from - I could have bought so much more! One thing to remember is that this is in Fremont, so you're not going to find a screaming deal. But, they've done all the hard work to find these items, so I figure it's a fair finders fee. Can't wait to go back. (The only reason I gave four instead of five stars is because I'm a die-hard bargain hunter, and my gut wanted to pay half of what I paid. But, I didn't have to drive out to the Peninsula to get my lamp so again, it was worth it!) read more

Fremont Vintage Mall is so dope! I've been here a few times, and I never leave empty handed. It's a collection of vintage items, separated by different vendors, and vaguely clustered with other similar items. If that makes sense? Gah. I don't know. I took friends from out of town here, and we easily spent an hour hanging out, just looking at things. They also have a dope collection of records - the main record store is just across the street, but I've found some awesome things here, too. A really fun way to spend some time. So this is sort of what heaven looks like in the Get Smart area of my brain. There are all kinds of nifty (given) newer antiques throughout the shop. The space is large as it the very unexpected collection. Much like Nancy Drew I like old timey things and that is exactly what you will find here. Books, records, signs, jewelry, funny dishes, unexpected couches, hats you wish you were bold enough to wear to work... it is all here folks. Then there was the lower area filled with clothes and some other special items in light-up cases. It is a groovy place located in a groovy part of Seattle, so there you go. read more

This place was a cool find in Fremont. It was huge and had a bunch of different kinds of things inside from wall decorations to furniture and everything in between. My friend and I went to the Fremont Vintage Mall where we looked through all the good vinyls while singing in the store, roamed aisles and aisles of fabulous clothing, made conversation with one of the employees about music and gave quizzes to each other of "who sang what", bought an amazing pair of sandals that I will be wishing I could wear too bad its fall, and scored on cheap CD's of Van Morrison, No Doubt, Spice Girls, and oldies like Bing Crosby. Definitely a good place to have fun and go treasure hunting. Things are a little more pricey than I would like to pay for. But, hey! People need to get paid. And, there are a lot of nice things that are in really good condition unlike places like Goodwill where they will accept almost anything. Music: Psychedelic rock. Price: It is all over the map depending on specific items. There is something for every budget. The prices are fair market value. Customer Service: N/A I didn't need any assistance. Layout: It is organized but busy. It is a mall organized by vendors, therefore, not all the vinyl's, toys etc. will be in one place. You do have to look through more than once as there are hidden bowls, containers and displays of knick knacks. It is the kind of store that you will get lost and will have to spend 2 good hours just to get through everything as you will miss things the first time. read more

This place is amazing. It has some of the most random stuff I've ever encountered, and while you wouldn't necessarily want to buy most of it, it's fascinating to look at. They have loads of cool vintage clothes, furniture, jewelry and such, in addition to a large selection of bizarre antiques (I swear to Bob, I once saw a fully operational phone for sale which was made almost entirely of Legos) and a whole bunch of random music, some of which is shockingly good... You have to dig a little to find the good stuff, but more often than not it's well worth your time. The owners are also really friendly, and will tell you pretty much anything you want to know about what they have. One thing to bear in mind, though, is that the place isn't at ground level. Don't look for a store front, 'cause you won't find one. Look for a door, with stairs leading down to a basement. read more

Holy Vintage Treasures Batman! This place is like discovering the forgetten attic motherlode of awesome! I took a chance and ducked in the little doorway and down the stairs into the Fremont Vintage Mall and I was plesantly surprised. The size of the place is much larger than most vintage stores that I have ever seen. On top of that, their selection is about as wide as it gets. From the pull down map from your elementary school geography class, to a new-to-you mod wardrobe, to your very own velvet Elvis and beyond this place has fun and interesting pieces around every corner. I was also happy to see that the pricing was not ridiculous as it sometime can be in various vintage establishments. Whomever is doing the pricing seems to know their stuff. Also, the staff is friendly and easy to strike up a conversation with. Looking for a cool new piece for your apartment or wardrobe...add the Fremont Vintage Mall to your list of places to hunt for it and you won't be sorry. read more

Every vintage lover has their own personal style and some stores appeal more to some than to other but Fremont Vintage Mall majorly appeals to me. It seems a little overwhelming when you first walk in but you quickly realize it's easy to navigate. Things are organized by lot, not by category but it makes for a nicer, more eye-catching presentation of the goods. What appeals to me most about FVM is their housewares, I am a lover of vintage dishware/kitchenware/entertainment ware, especially the mid century stuff and there was tons of it. Lot's of vintage school items such as textbooks, beakers and even some desks. Lot's of industrial items like stools, cabinets, and today I even saw some GIANT wrench-looking tools in their front room. They also collaborate with Jive Time Records and the whole middle of their main room is devoted to records. The style of a lot of what they sell is mid century modern, kitschy, and "retro." Nothing super antique here but that's why I like it. The key is to remember to look up on the walls so you don't miss things hanging up on the walls and not to overlook furniture that is being used as a display. Also- I find their prices to be extremely reasonable. It's not a thrift store but I never feel overcharged when I leave. read more

This place is fairly large I would say. TONS of knick knacks everywhere. You will find lots of things that you might possibly never use, but sure do look cool. Lots of things to collect. Though I didn't sift through all the records, they had quite the collection. It seemed like there was records laying everywhere. Good selection of record players as well. I found some pretty good furniture while I was there, though it was out of my price rage. I could have spent, and probably will spend a lot more time going through all the very random smaller items they have there. Visited the Antique Mall for the first time today. WOW, this place is huge! You wouldn't think so from seeing how it looks from the outside. The stairs lead down to a spacious floor just FILLED with antique goodies...then there's another set of stairs that lead down to more antiques, mostly clothing/shoes. I loved browsing around and finding nostalgic items but the prices were a bit high for me. Not sure if I'll ever purchase anything (although I did find a few cameras I was interested in) but it's definitely fun to browse around. read more

Wow, so cool! This isn't dirty like a lot of vintage/antique stores tend to be. It's massive and with one entrance/exit on each side of it it's a very convenient way to cut across the block. Everything is very reasonably priced. It's a twisting labyrinth of treasures waiting to be found. A vintage store located in the basement carries particularly appropriate metaphorical meaning. This shop is one of the better curated, much more organized vintage establishments in the Pacific Northwest. For goods and furniture that are obviously cool or in good condition, the prices reflect that (in other words, they're astronomical $$$$). But dig deeper and gems can be found that are a bit more reasonable. Prices are non-negotiable as they are set by individual vendors, but certain corners of the store will go on sale from time to time. Overall, definitely worth your time and while to browse when you're in Fremont. read more

I have been coming to browse this shop for years. The have a number of different vendors that sell a wide array of vintage and retro items. I come for the pyrex, vintage china, and just to look at the amazingly cool things humans used to make. I have found many treasures here. Including my most recent prize a 1960 almost mint Triumph bicycle which I bought for a song. I liken going here to shopping on ebay, but being able to actually see the items in person and not have the hassle of shipping. read more

This place is awesome!!! I've been in several times; employees are beyond friendly, helpful, knowledgable and welcoming with exceptional taste in music; they play the best music here! Employees seem to know the merchandise and are always willing to call the seller if you need more info or would like to make an offer on items. (All items are marked but many sellers I've dealt with have been willing to consider offers.) There are two floors divided into small sections; each section is a different seller so you get an amazing selection of items; some vintage, some antique, some art, some just plain weird and some leave you guessing. I always feel welcome to come in and poke around as long as I like and most times I find something really cool. Prices are reasonable. Items are clean as is the whole mall. Items are arranged and displayed so there is plenty of room to browse without having to dig through things or bump into other customers and merchandise on busy days. I have been able to pull up to the downstairs door to pick up heavier items. If you bring in large bags or backpacks, you are asked to leave them behind the counter, you are given a colored clothes pin to identify and reclaim your bags/backpack when leaving. To the idiots that make snarky comments or are rude to employees because they assume the reason they are asked to leave bags/backpacks behind the counter is because employees assume they are shoplifters...personally, I'm happy to have somewhere secure to leave my cumbersome bags/backpack while I browse, I assume employees are not only honest but most likely have better things to do than dig though my bags/backpack and I assume the reason behind being asked to do this is to avoid having merchandise knocked over and damaged by my bags/backpack thus saving me from having to buy an item simply because I have damaged or broken it. Even pondering my assumptions will give you 5 points towards becoming less of a rude and egotistical idiot. Realizing that my assumptions make so much more sense will automatically move you up from rude and egotistical idiot status into the shiny happy person category. Congratulations! read more

Great selection of vendors. All kinds of great finds from furniture to jewelry. Our favirite ourchase to date were two beautiful church pews for our foyer. It sometimes seems a little pricey but remember they've done all the hunting for you. Most of this place seems pretty well edited, and not full of flea market stuff.. It can get busy and does take some energy to get thru but we always find something fun that we love. BEST THING: customer service is excellent, super helpful, knowledgeable, quick, and easy to find. read more

I loved this place! I came in to look for a crib and found myself wandering around the store distracted by all the cool trinkets. They have a great big selection of all kinds of everything! Even old medical jars of pig and shark fetuses. They have awesome vintage clothing and really neat antique furniture. They also have lots and lots of artwork... I could go on and on.
