    Filet of Sole Meuniere. Excellent.
    HOLLY P.

Our group of five had delicious meals in Friday night. I had the prefixed meal for $39.95, which includes a glass of wine or soup, and choice of entree. The French onion soup was delicious. The entrées included vegetable starch and protein. I ordered the sole meuniere (spelling?). You could order either meuniere or piccata style. It was cooked perfectly and was also slightly crispy at the same time. It was outstanding. My mother ordered piccata and she loved it. It was served with au gratin potatoes and perfectly cooked vegetables. We all will definitely return as we are thrilled that we just learned they are serving dinners again Thursday through Saturday.

Come here to try something better and different. Great menu options and I am madly in love with the Cordon Blue sandwich. Fresh and a good size for the cost = good value. Servers add to the french feel as well as the decor and menu. There is something for everyone. There are many merchandise items that fit into the French theme. I bought a nice useful cloth bowl for the memory. There are a number of good cooking and kitchen knife sets for sale well. The pastry case is filled with a wide variety of tasty treats from traditional to decadent. Just succumb to the temptation and take something home. A treat for later will be appreciated.

    Duck Maigret Salad

I've eaten here six times over the last few months and I've even altered my usual shopping route to eat here. The third time I ate there I had a Duck Maigret Salad that was just out of this world. Then I followed up with a vanilla custard filled tart and a cup of coffee. Wow, everything was just superb. To avoid unneeded carbs, I switched to salads and just had the Duck Maigret Salad with the usual tart and coffee. We eat out a great deal and, no matter the price point, the food here is the equal of any restaurant. The service was unhurried, we had coffee refills and I lingered over the custard tart, loathe to finish it. I was stunned over the comment that said there was a $15 'fee' added. There is a fee for credit card usage that offsets the transaction charge that the cc company makes. My fee for a lunch was $1.50. There is some mistake being made somewhere.

    Cute French dècor.

Stopped in for lunch, and had a nice experience. Breakfast is served from 8am until 11am (Noon on Sunday), then they switch to the lunch menu until 4:30pm. Not open for dinner. They have indoor and patio dining areas, and the parking is plentiful. FOOD: We ordered the Breakfast Croissant with fruit, the Cordon Bleu Sandwich with fries, and the Duck Sandwich with salad. The croissant was very good. The sandwiches were served on a French baguette, which was a nice change from the last sandwich I had here. They were decent, but we felt that both could have used a little more butter, mayo, horseradish, or some other spread. The service is good, so you just have to ask for something, and it's no problem getting it quickly. BAKERY: One of the main reasons we visit is to pick up wonderful items from their bakery. The pastries and desserts are not only visually beautiful, but they're also C'est très magnifique! TIP: The bakery sells out of many items quickly, so don't wait too late into the morning/early afternoon to visit. We enjoy this little café, and I'm sure we'll be back.

I thought I would get a cute design lol

It's okay for the desert. Pancakes are good. My husband ordered coffee taste like a basic coffee. Probably not. Would I go back?

Was in town and came here for breakfast and was not disappointed. But we did have to wait for a table on a Friday morning at 10:00am which was surprising but it's a small cafe inside. The menu is great with so many options and great authentic French food options! I got simple scrambled eggs with French fries and got the hot chocolate. The food came fast and taste so fresh and delicious! The hot chocolate was so good! Afterwards got a croissant to go and was so good too! They have a little bakery area to get macaroons and pastries. It's also a very cute little cafe and for sure will be coming back next time I am in town. Prices are high but for the area it's what I expected.

Over priced latte. It cost $5+ for a latte which resembled a small drink. Very disappointed.

Friendly Service. Authentic French cuisine. Little pricey, also air conditioning was on low. I was sweating while drinking my coffee.

Ordered the New York style hot pastrami on rye with coleslaw and a Dr. Brown's Cream Soda. The pastrami was the highlight. Piled high, tender, and full of that classic deli flavor with just the right amount of richness. The rye bread held everything together well and had a nice bite to it. It's the kind of sandwich you have to take a second to look at before figuring out how to eat it. The coleslaw was fresh and crisp, a good balance to the sandwich, and the cream soda was cold and refreshing. Also ordered a slice of pistachio cake to go. Absolutely delicious. The place has that old school deli feel, busy but in a good way, and full of character. Service was friendly and efficient even with the crowd. Definitely a spot worth stopping at if you're in Palm Desert and want a proper deli sandwich.

Service was excellent. Seated immediately and ordering minutes later. Got extra cream cheese on request and our coffees were diligently refilled. The main attraction was the pastrami sandwich. Totally to my wife's taste, extremely lean and stacked high. She had to take half home. I tried an omelette with corned beef and loved it. The everything bagel was perfectly acceptable, not too "bready." So: service good, pastrami good, and bagel good. Everything good about a deli is covered.

We went in "just to look" (famous last words) and walked out with 3 cupcakes: vanilla bean, red velvet, and salted caramel toffee... plus a mocha tres leches parfait because self-control is seasonal and clearly out of stock!! Every single bite was the kind of good that makes you close your eyes mid-chew and ignore whoever's talking to you. But let's discuss the real star: the frosting!!! I was fully prepared for standard whipped cream or buttercream vibes, and instead got this cloud-like, silky situation that tasted rich but somehow light enough to justify eating an entire cupcake without emotional consequences. Tiffany herself let me in on the secret.... it's Italian meringue buttercream. So basically, classy buttercream that went to finishing school. Tiffany is also an absolute gem... warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what she's baking up. You can taste the love (and the butter, but mostly the love)!!! If you're in the desert and your sweet tooth starts whispering reckless ideas, listen to it. And definitely support this family-owned local spot. We had been waiting awhile, so I carried our number in with me and made note of the numbers they were delivering... which were higher numbers than ours, but also very random. I went to the cash register and asked the employee if they called the numbers in order. She answered politely that no they didn't. I then mentioned we were sitting outside and asked if I should wait inside for my order so they wouldn't have trouble finding us. We were not in a hurry and were trying to make it easy on the hardworking employees....and bonus that it was cool inside *At that point, a man who I perceived was a manager or maybe even the owner , turned to me from behind the counter, handed me a bag and said " Here Ma'am , GO!" His facial expression was as though he was busy and or annoyed. I was so surprised at his response in such an otherwise pleasant environment.
