Oh I LOVED it here. Everything was so good. It's first come first serve and we were able to get a table for 10 in about 30 min so I'm not mad about that what so ever. Food was perfect to revive us especially during a brutally hot weekend. It can fit big groups pretty well and I recommend going earlier. Servers and employees were the best. They were pretty quick with food and got our orders for all 10 of us so nicely. If I'm ever in the area, I'd pick this place first!

Stopped by Lala's on our way home and I'm so glad I did. We got seated right away(on a Saturday morning). The staff is friendly, [[HIGHLIGHT]]the decor is modern[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], the food is amazing. My daughter and my mom got the breakfast burrito and it was big enough to share. I ordered the huevos divorciados and it was the perfect amount of food, both the green and red salsa had good flavor and it came with a side of chorizo. I also ordered my son a Nutella waffle and it was also a good size. Per my mom the café de olla was really good. I told my friends about this place and next time I'm driving to Indio or on my way to Arizona I know where to stop and eat. It's literally right off the 10 freeway.

We are repeat customers and always love our experience. The food is absolutely delicious and spot on, everytime! The agua frescas are fresh and the coffee is really good. The servers are all very sweet, it's truly a great lil spot! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very family friendly and trendy inside![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's truly a local spot!

They have loads of breakfast choices. Unfortunately there are not many gluten free options. I got the chilaquiles verde because they said they don't contain gluten. The red ones apparently do. Everyone else's food looked good but I couldn't eat it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cute little place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very busy and crowded.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We waited 20 minutes on a Saturday at 10:30.

Everything went well here at Lala's! A hot sunny day in Indio found us at this quaint restaurant that welcomed us with friendly, smiling faces. The interior is so cute and modern with a bar area where they prepare your drinks and mimosas. We ordered a variety off the menu. Chicken & waffles, chiles rellenos, farmers crepe which is a savory crepe that had pesto, mozzarella cheese, and ham inside, and a sweet crepe that was strawberry, banana, and Nutella. You can even add a scoop of ice cream to your sweet crepe if you wish! Everything we ordered was delicious. The side of bacon was perfectly crispy. It was busy during Sunday brunch, because who doesn't love Sunday brunch! Lots of families, couples, and friends enjoying this place. The staff is so accommodating and friendly. Will return if ever in the area again.

It was my first time visiting Lala's Restaurant with my family, and I wasn't sure what to order. After checking Yelp and seeing that the chilaquiles were highly recommended, I chose the green chilaquiles and they were absolutely delicious. For drinks, I ordered the hazelnut iced coffee, which was a perfect 10/10. The service was excellent, [[HIGHLIGHT]]the atmosphere was welcoming[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and the food was outstanding. I highly recommend checking this place out, and I will definitely be returning.

The food here is so delicious. The menu has a wide variety and the service is good too. Waiters are friendly and welcoming. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is good as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Absolutely blown away by LaLa's Waffles, Crepes & Shakes--what a hidden gem! From the moment I stepped in, I felt like I'd discovered something truly special. I was the only guest at the time, which made the service feel exceptionally warm and personal. It's not every day you get that kind of attention without any rush or noise--just peaceful, friendly hospitality. Now, the food? Incredible. My Farmer's Crepe was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The crepe was silky and rich, and the mozzarella was a perfect cheese pull! I could taste the savory pesto and was not overpowering the other flavors but rather complimenting them exquisitely. It was very filling and had enough to take home for later. Don't even get me started on the shakes--dessert in a glass! The menu has a great variety, with creative options and classic favorites, all at very reasonable prices. They were accommodating in substituting the ham for a very flavorful sausage. Even the water tastes better. The interior is charming and thoughtfully decorated--modern yet cozy, with tasteful touches that make you want to linger a little longer. The music played at the perfect volume, adding to the relaxed, inviting vibe without ever being too loud. LaLa's delivers on every front: food, service, ambiance, and value. Whether you're in for a quick bite or a leisurely breakfast treat, this place deserves a spot on your regular rotation. I'm already planning my next visit!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice little quiet place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was hard to find out for us as it's in a strip mall in the corner. The food had flavor but was also very cold. Plates didn't come out at the same time came out at different times. I will try again. I enjoyed my crate.

We came on an off day. This is just what I'm saying first because of the end of our meal waitress did mention that she was by herself and was slammed. She asked how is everything at the END of our meal, my husband and I looked at each other and we said OK? What did she want us to say? We were not going to go on and on about it, we were ready to leave at that point after having had to ask another server for our Check. I ordered a side of sausage with the chilaquiles. I had to have her send it back before it even hit the table because it was literally burnt little logs. I can't even tell you what it looked like. I wish I would've taken a picture as it was actually laughable. I said please replace that with some bacon and she even said she shouldn't have brought that burnt sausage out to us! We ordered an orange juice. It was from concentrate and thick. I was hoping it was fresh squeeze. We asked for Wi-Fi so my daughter could do her class. The lady didn't know the password We asked for water, she asked for how many.... it's the desert! Why are we asking for water? Isn't that a given? Their prices were not worth what you get portion wise.

Valentines Day Review We've been coming to Lala's since they first opened, so this is coming from repeat customers. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lala's was styled very modern and cute![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We waited about 20 minutes and were seated in a booth that was literally taped up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After sitting down, it took around 5 minutes just to place drink orders and another 7 minutes to actually receive them. They have changed their menu three times since opening. Their original menu had a breakfast sandwich which is no longer offered. I politely asked if I could do a breakfast torta or sandwich and was immediately told "no" without any effort to accommodate -- even though they offer a pulled pork torta. I think widening the menu or allowing simple substitutions would go a long way. The menu does start some substitutions can't be ordered, but come on for a sandwich???? lol On a positive note, I ordered the strawberry horchata with no boba and I definitely recommend it. One thing that was concerning: the employee wearing a white shirt with red hearts (blonde hair) prepared multiple drinks and grabbed the tips of the straws with her fingers before placing them into the cups. After seeing that, I removed the straw from my drink. She checked on surrounding tables asking if everything was okay but never came to ours, and we weren't offered a refill while our empty cup sat at the edge of the table. After I took a picture of the drink, she then came over and asked if we wanted a refill. For food, my husband ordered the Americano (bacon, eggs, hash browns) with a side of the Philadelphia waffle, and I ordered the chorizo and eggs. The food was mid at best and my plate was only warm. Additionally, my husband ordered a side of ham with his breakfast dish which is listed on the menu as $7. The portion size did not match the price (photo included for comparison). I understand it was Valentine's Day and busy, but unfortunately this wasn't a one-time experience. We visited last month and experienced the same slow and unfriendly service. It feels like the more popular the restaurant has become, the less the customer service has been a priority. At this point, I don't think we'll be visiting again.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Walking in it is a very well put together brunch spot me and my wife tried this for the first time what you will notice is they are always fairly busy here which is always a good sign we went on a Thursday and we got a table without much of a wait at all[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] the portions are very large i got the chicken and waffles and my wife got the huevos rancheros I will have to say her dish was definitely the better choice i think the fried chicken was a little overcooked/ hard although the waffles were pretty flavorful even without syrup good taste and consistency tasted homemade compared to other places overall the service and cleanliness of the restaurant is above average and i would highly recommend getting the mexican style breakfast it seems like their specialty steers more that direction the huevos rancheros were very flavorful and the eggs balanced out the sauce perfectly with a very nice presentation definitely worth a try!

FACILITY: Looks like a diner, is a diner, and very nice and clean. MENU: Many selections, breakfast options may be overwhelming but you'll definitely find something you want. Lunch offers very good but standard options. FOOD PREP: Always, very well done for that Louise's Pantry is, they don't fake anything here. FOOD QUALITY: Excellent for this style of food. It is a great experience. WAITSTAFF: We've been here many times, and never have we run across anyone not upbeat, polite, and happy to see a customer. OVERALL VALUE: A bit on the expensive side but considering the amount of food they bring you, it is a fair deal. TIP: Unless you are Mr. Creosote (bonus points if you know that one) for $2.00 you can get a split plate and still have a huge portion. We usually go this way respecting the seats we are taking up.

The eggs needed seasoning, and the country potatoes were dry and lacked flavor, with only a couple of small pieces of onion and red pepper mixed in. My husband had the hash browns instead and felt his breakfast was just as bland. The service was pleasant, and the atmosphere was relaxed, but we were seated next to a broom, dustpan, and the bus cart for dirty dishes, which wasn't the best first impression. The restaurant also feels a bit dated. A few simple updates, like replacing the dusty artificial flowers and keeping cleaning supplies out of sight, would make a big difference. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but with so many great breakfast options in the area, we probably wouldn't return.

As for the food, I am someone that loves trying different things in hopes I find something I really like, so far I have really enjoyed their cheese danish and butter croissant. I have yet to find my favorite dish from here as I was not a big fan of the chicken and waffles as the oil or sauce from the chicken spread under my waffles & sort of had this weird after taste that I didn't enjoy much. The breakfast burrito was huge and just okay I think if I would customize it a bit I would love it more and the chicken pesto sandwich so far has been something that I enjoyed a bit. Just personal experience as I've seen so many other really love those items. When I find my favorite meals I will come back and update. I do like to note that my boyfriend on the other hand has stayed loyal to their BLT + egg sandwich since our first visit and recommends me to try it so maybe that will be next on my list when I visit again. Their matcha is also okay, the notes are leaning vegetal and I just prefer a more nutty savory matcha. The strawberry syrup they add is pretty good. Wouldn't get it again though.
