I hate to give this place a bad review. The salon itself is spacious and very clean and the staff was excellent: welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The quality of the work however, especially at the prices charged, was abysmal. I walked in on a Monday afternoon with no appointment for a mani/pedi. The place was pretty empty and they were able to take me right away. I opted for the honey something or other pedicure which included a honey treatment and 10 minute massage with hot stones on my legs as well as a paraffin treatment on my heels. It was all really lovely and added to the pampering aspect of a salon trip but that's where the praises stop. Outside of the leg treatment and massage, my pedicure consisted of quickly buffing my feet, then filling and painting the nails. Not a single cuticle pushed or trimmed or callus attended to... none of the actual pedicure part of the pedicure. The paint job was messy and the nail tech didn't even attempt to clean up the edges. There's also an absolutely ludicrous TWENTY DOLLAR upcharge for gel polish. There were wax and skin remnants all over my feet at the end of the pedicure. I was then led over to the nail station where my manicure consisted of trimming and painting my nails. Once again, no cuticle maintenance of any kind, no nail shaping - none of the things that make a manicure a manicure - then sloppy painting with no cleanup. They provided a quick shoulder rub while my nails cured, which was nice. All in all, this isn't the worst experience I've had with a nail salon and if you just want to be pampered a little and don't mind paying for it, you might like it. But for a whopping ninety five American dollars before tip, I expect a lot more than 12 minutes of mediocre rubbing. I certainly expect to not have to finish the work myself and I definitely expect a basic mani/pedi to include an actual mani and pedi. Because everyone was so nice and accommodating, the salon was so clean and they have a pretty decent color selection, I would come here again in a pinch... but I'd have to be absolutely desperate. read more

I thought i had already written a review about this awesome place . Okay, so Where can you go for a manicure and pedicure, a back rub, paraffin hands, all for $40? Here's the place, my friends. The establishment is located in a nice strip mall so there's plenty of parking. This was my second time here. I walked in without a reservation and was quickly accommodated. This beautiful young lady tended to my toes and my nails. There was not much Conversation between us but that's OK. She was doing what she does and honestly I hate fake conversation anyway. My toes and nails look awesome. They also informed me that they now provide facials which includes microdermabrasion and many other things on their menu regarding the needs of the face. I think I need a new face! If you're in Rhode Island, this is the place to go. There were two men also getting pedicures so yes it's obviously a place for anyone to go to feel great snd get pretty hands and toes! Five Star!! read more

After receiving a gift card for Christmas I hesitantly went to get a pedicure as this isn't my regular salon. I walked in and was immediately taken. I asked for the $45 callus removal pedicure. The tech insisted I get the honey one for $4 more. I said no as I'm allergic to honey. She insisted but luckily we didn't get that far. I asked for no massage chair and she turned it on. And refused shut it back off. At that I said no I'm going to leave and give the gift card away. Possibly the owner or manager stopped me and said they'd get someone else to service me. Frankly, I already just wanted to leave because I had a bad feeling. When they did send someone never over, I asked her not to use the nail clippers. She did use the clippers to my dismay and cut my entire left set of toes so short it was and STILL is very painful. She then told me she could not shape them because they were too short AFTER SHE CUT THEM TO THAT LENGTH. I got up and walked out. The manager or owner again stopped me and I showed her my feet and all she could say was "sorry about that". The guest she was servicing said "oh my god" when looking down at my feet as the toes were cut so short they were extremely red. I have never EVER EVER been so ignored when asking for extremely specific ns simple things during a pedicure . The gift card purchased is a waste of money as it will never be used, I won't even give it away now. Worst ever experience I have ever had at a nail salon . I'd rather never get a pedicure again. DO NOT GO HERE. If I help didn't require a star rating I'd seriously not give one. read more

I went in to get a pedicure .. first time here nice salon.. my lady who started my pedicure kept filing my toe nails sideways I had to show her how to file it to fix the mistake she made. I got a gel.pedicure she was having problems applying the polish wrong so she had to remove and add it again numerous times for many toes.. then I left the salon with my feet looking worse than when I came in dry and hardly look like I had a pedicure.. highly disappointed and they look at me when I gave a 2 dollar tip she lucky I tip at all.. so upset..62 dollars later only gave one star because the color is nice read more

- I had to ask to soak my feet - Took 2.5 hours for a GEL mani & pedi - No use of cuticle softener & didn't even soak my cuticles before RIPPING them off with the cuticle cutter on both hands and feet - Did not let me rinse the powder from filing my nails off before painting nails - Was unable to communicate with anyone but one person due to language barrier so voicing my concerns through the service were responded with "ya ya ok" but nothing was done because he clearly didn't understand what i was saying I was very tempted to not pay for my service and walk out but I couldn't do that with a good conscience. I continue to frequent this nail salon and have started getting dip manicures instead of gel. Sunny does an amazing job with dip manicures. She takes her time and makes sure I am happy with every aspect of the manicure and does great work. She never hesitates to add an extra coat of powder if needed and my nails last 3 weeks or more. read more

I was excited to try French Nails & Spa for a mani and pedi since they had so many great reviews. I was very impressed by how clean and open the place was. The staff was so quick and thorough, and even included a three minute neck massage while the manicure was drying. It was such a wonderful expierence and the price was reasonable ($60 for a gel manicure and regular pedicure). The only reason my review isn't a five star is that just under two days after my visit, the polish peeled right off, which is a huge disappointment... ****update to review**** I decided to visit the salon to see if there was anything they could do about the chipped nail. The owner immediately came over and apologized, and mentioned that she had read my review earlier that day and was also so disappointed. She took care of me herself and instead of just fixing that one nail, she completely redid the entire manicure. Great customer service! A couple walked in right after me and they took them right away. After 20 minutes I walked up to the owner and asked why she told me to come right in and then made me wait half hour to for service. Andy is the GOAT, my new favorite nail tech. He does an amazing job. I wear only dipping powder on my natural nails, and they are long and delicate. He always does a perfect job. One time he even cut my nails too short, and then worked some magic and they came out the perfect shape and length?? I wish they would add some more colors to their selection but for his quality of work I'll wear the same color ever time, lol. I work in a chemistry lab so my nails constantly go thru the ringer but I'm almost at 4 weeks with no lifting, chips, or peeling. 5 Stars all day! Ask for Andy he'll do you right. read more

Amazing!! My first visit was today as a walk in. I recently moved to the area and had a terrible experience at another local Salon on Atwood. The first thing you notice is how bright and spotless it is. I was Greeted immediately. Jenny did my fill and she was Great! She had a lot to fix from a terrible job done at another local salon. My nails look amazing. They use powder dip which is better for your nails than acrylic. The fill was $40 and it included paraffin AND a 3 min shoulder/back massage w a heated towel!!!! I wish I could leave more stars. I really do...So I'll start with the pros, because there are a lot. You're not going to find a cleaner place in this area. I've been there around closing, and it's no joke. They're thorough. They have a solid selection of both gel and regular polish and always have enough staff. I've never had to wait longer than a few minutes. I do call ahead, but am not sure it's even necessary. Their massage chairs are great, you can add massage to your pedicure, and a 5 minute neck massage and parrafin wax come with your manicure. The cons: It's expensive, but you are getting services you don't get at other places. My biggest issue and will likely stop me from returning, is that out of the 4 gel manicures I've had, 3 chipped within 2 days. That never happens to me, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't something I did. I tried to tell someone so they could maybe do something differently (more time under the lamp maybe?) but there was a language barrier. It happened again after I left that day, so I tried emailing the contact section on the site, and no one responded. I still recommend them if you're just looking for relaxation, but if you have an event you need your nails done for, I might go elsewhere. read more

The staff extremely friendly and take pride in making sure the results of your service are amazing. I've gotten regular tips, spa pedicure and regular manicure all on multiple occasions and have never been disappointed. Tons of color options, comfy massage chairs for pedi and you receive a three minute hot towel shoulder massage and paraffin wax dip complimentary with any mani. We walked in on a rainy day for pedicures, were taken right away and I had one of the best pedicures I've ever had in my life. Ever since then, every time I enter the salon, I'm greeted with a warm welcome almost immediately. Every time I make an appointment for my mother and me, we pick our nail color and it begins right away. Their technicians know exactly what they're doing and I've never once not liked the way my nails came out. I went for a green tea pedicure with gel. I felt for the $75 I spent was not worth the services provided. At my regular salon I would've had the same services for less cost.
