I love this place! I moved away shortly after they opened but before I left, I was there every week sometimes two times per week. I come back frequently and this is the first place I want to visit. The food is refreshing. Not heavy. Perfect portions and perfectly priced. We usually get sandwiches, wings, and we have tried a few of their different drinks and all are delicious. The service is top tier. They are so friendly and accommodating. They always make me feel welcome and appreciated. The place is beautifully decorated and there is so much to look at. It's fancy but also inviting and fun. Recently we celebrated a graduation and birthday and they were able to accommodate all 26 of us. Everyone ordered food and a beverage and it was more than affordable. I can't wait to come back later this month. read more

Prince Tea House honestly exceeded my expectations! The inside was so aesthetically pleasing. It gave off tea party vibes as it should! The service was super friendly and helpful. Shoutout to our server Daniel who answered all of our questions and was patient with us! We got the Montagne Bleue Black Tea ($9.00) since he recommended it to us. Really delicious. It had a subtle hint of lavender and blueberry. Not too strong but not too sweet either. We also got their Green Tea Mille Crepe Cake ($10.00). It was so soft and creamy with the matcha flavor. Their large Passion Fruit Slush ($7.50) was good, but just okay. They do give you a 2 hour limit if it is peak hour, but that's more than enough time. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Prince Tea House. I came on a Saturday afternoon for my first visit with no reservation, so maybe not the best idea. They were slammed! I was tempted to not stick around as this is the kind of place that people stick around, talk, relax and have a nice time. Once I was seated, I was able to order a fruity tea that I forget the name of now. The smoked salmon sandwich was delightful. The molten lava cake topped off the meal nicely. What an amazing place! Cute, quaint, and classy. My family and I came to have brunch here for the 1st time and everything from the time we walked in the door until the time we left. We ad the crispy chicken for an appetizer. It was hot, crispy, and seasoned well. I had the lavender hot latte, my daughter had the iced caramel boba tea, and my partner had the hot mint green tea. For brunch, I had the Smoked Salmon Egg Benedict, my daughter had checking and waffles, and my partner had the Katsu Chicken Brioche sandwich. The dressing for the salad was like a ginger dressing and was great. My only complaint is that when I ordered the lavender latte, I assumed it was made with a lavender tea similar to the matcha latte. The response from our waitress was that the lavender latte was under the coffee, but I told her the matcha was also under the coffee area, and that is clearly a tea. I made up ordering another tea (jardin tropical) to enjoy with my lava molten cake, which we all ordered for dessert. The drink, meal, and dessert for $25 per person was a great deal also. My girlfriend and I went here on a Saturday morning, pretty close to opening. The staff was nice and we actually had a reservation so the process was smooth. The ambiance of this place was very nice and quiet. It was nice to see other people enjoying a mid day tea as well. We got the hot green tea and it was pretty good. I do love me a good milk tea, and having it hot was a pretty good experience. The fact that it's hot makes you slow down and enjoy it! As for food, we got the chicken and waffles and boba crepe cake. Both were good, but not amazing. Overall, it's a fairly nice place and I like that they have something like this in Metairie. If you're looking for a cute brunch spot, I would recommend this place. I was considering going there for high tea, but after looking at the pictures I changed my mind. One review said it was a very relaxing atmosphere and I think it's about the last place for atmosphere or relaxing. Evidently these people have not been to the Windsor Court downtown for high tea. This seems to be a high end sandwich shop. You have no real crab meat there. It's all imitation crab meat. Your food for the high tea seems skimpy. The decorations are very tacky. You have no individual tables in small intimate settings. Instead it's booth. The place is noisy. You can hear other people's conversation and dishes clanking. It's just awful. Advertise this place as a sandwich and lunch restaurant, not a tea palace. If you want to see what it should really look like if it's a tea palace, treat yourself to tea at the Windsor Court and see how that's done. You are far from that. Oh and one more thing. That bright ceiling light gives the ambiance of a cafeteria. Sorry to be so harsh, but that's my take. Very much a Metarie revive. read more

This is such a fun place! Not to mention the food and tea is delicious as well. My Mom and I shared the afternoon tea for two which came with an assortment of finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, macarons, mini lava cakes, and mini fruit tarts and unlimited tea refills. This place is so cute and perfect for taking pictures! The atmosphere is beautiful, and everything feels very aesthetic and well put together. The service was amazing -- Emma and Emily were both super attentive and friendly throughout our visit. All of the food and drinks were plated beautifully, which made the experience even better. My favorites were the rose milk tea, summer passion drink, brown sugar crepe cake, and the salmon sandwich! We also enjoyed all this food. Came for afternoon tea -- the tea and food were good and the ambience was ok. However the service was so disappointing. Our waiter (Dalbert) was attending to a large party in the back room and did not check on us once. They advertise free refills on the tea but he never checked on us to see if we were running low. When I flagged him down and asked for more tea, he once again disappeared -- only seen running past our table to attend to the back room. We didn't even get a refill on our empty water carafe or creamer (3 mini coffeemate pods) and had to ask for cream/sugar more than once. A. We tried to flag him down several times unsuccessfully. I understand that Sundays are busy, but I wish the communication was better on our servers end. I'd give the tea/food 5 stars but can't overlook being ignored. read more

My daughter and I have been trying to visit here. Finally was able to go on Saturday and it did not disappoint. From the floral decor on the outside to the Bridgerton esthetics. I was loving it . Also many places for photo ops. I had the afternoon tea for one. It was a tower of mini goodies., it was actually enough to share with 2. I loved the open faced finger sandwiches. There was a cucumber sandwich , the mini salmon sandwich, pastrami sandwich and the only one I was not fond of was the chicken salad tasted more like egg salad . And loved the assortment of delicious desserts. It also came with unlimited tea of your choice . I chose the Prince Fruit paradise tea. It was really good ,it was a mix of mango, peach, strawberry, pineapple and passion fruit. The afternoon tea tower was worth the price of $35. I also had the chicken and waffles, which was delicious. 2 chicken strips very crispy and flavorful. The waffle was thick and crispy just like I like . My daughter had the crabmeat flatbread and although it was made with imitation crab meat it was good. .The server was very helpful and patient. This place would be fun for all ages . Really cute place that I found on Instagram and knew I'd have to try. Made reservations for 4 on a Saturday. When we arrived we were seated quickly, but later it became pretty crowded so I'd recommend doing reservations. The place is decorated beautifully and is nice for a tea party for friends. My aunt and I ordered the chicken and waffles, my cousin ordered the crab flatbread, another ordered the turkey sandwich, and the tea for 1 was also ordered. My cousins enjoyed their food. Chicken and waffles were good, I didn't care for the sauce they put on the side, but syrup worked well. My aunt asked if they could do scrambled eggs with the chicken and waffles but he said no. The drink I had was good but it had too much ice. Every time I tried to drink it I'd only get a little juice with a bunch of ice. While it's a nice place it's somewhere I feel you may go once or twice, but no where you'd frequent often. If you want real brunch food, there's only a few options so I may pick another place, but if you want a tea party experience I'd say try it out! read more

Obsessed! I took my daughters (7 and 4) there for afternoon tea and I will one hundred percent be a regular. We chose the tea for two, which was ADORABLE. They were delighted by all of the treats and I enjoyed my tea immensely. The decor is very elevated. The waitstaff were incredibly friendly and guided us through the menu well. We had a reservation for 6 people at 12:15pm. We were not served until 1:20 pm. Everyone ordered the high tea combo. There was one waiter for the entire restaurant & he also bussed the tables. We were told that they ran out of scones, so only 3 out of 6 got scones, they substituted pieces of flat bread pizza. The tea was "luke warm" upon arrival at the table; however the individual tea pots were on a warmer & became "hot tea" after a period of time. The ambiance of the place was great, but running out of scones at a Tea House when we had reservations was far from what we were expecting as first time customers. None of us will be returning to this location for tea. read more

Beautiful aesthetic. Kind attentive staff and delicious food. My tea had slices of fresh fruit in it, my salad was arranged into a flower, and the banana cheesecake was tasty without being too sweet or too dense, everything was just right. Our water jugs were refilled with fresh ice regularly and we were never rushed along despite talking for a while after finishing our meal and leaving around closing time.
