During my shopping for a halloween costume, (I went out as Sylvia Fine, Fran Dreschers mom on the Nanny), they helped with foundations, and undergarments without making me feel embarrassed. The employees stationed near the fitting rooms act more like security guards than customer service associates. The tone was cold and overly watchful, as if every customer is automatically suspicious. It makes trying on clothes awkward and stressful instead of enjoyable. Retail is supposed to be about customer service and comfort -- not feeling policed while you shop.
