It's always a fun time to be had at Fresca. This is one of my go to spots for margaritas and chilling, and I've got to tell you, get their chips and dip trio because their queso and guac are amazing. It was super hot in here the other night, so they def need to get another ac soon I think, but other than that, top notch vibes. I tried their burrito salad for the first time, and it's lasted me 3 meals now, it was that huge. I always recommend getting one of their drink specials, their bartenders always do a great job,

    Fam enjoying food!

The kindest customer service. Yummy food. And tasty drinks. They accommodated my kiddo by making him shoestring fries instead of the ones that came with his meal. Thank you!

In the mood for Mexican tonight, so we wanted to re-try this place. Honestly everything was stellar. The food, service, friendliness of staff, the drinks (the drinks!) all really great. We know they were busy, but we wish the waitress would've checked in more when we were wrapping up, as getting the check took a bit- but it's totally fine. It's a busy Saturday night. We ordered the bbq and blue pulled pork nachos. Wow. You can tell they make the chips in house. Almost chip had piles of cheese, pork, a sauce and pure deliciousness. I would have liked more "blue" on the nachos as we didn't actually see any but still great. I ordered the pork enchilaritto (that could be totally wrong) regardless it was amazing. I got full so fast due to the huge portions but yay for me and the leftovers! The Marg's were spot on too. It was a healthy mix of booze and fruit. A little costly but well worth it. Definitely our new fav spot!

My sister and I stopped in for lunch the other day, hoping to eat outside. Unfortunately we were not able to do so because they said they were shorthanded. No problem, we adapted and sat in the dining room. We both ordered their house margarita, which was excellent! My sister suggested the chips with the works. That came with guacamole, queso, and salsa. I have to say why I only gave them 4 stars. The salsa had a strange, almost fishy taste. Not enjoyable. While we nibbled on our appetizer and sipped on our margarita we slowly put in our lunch order. I ordered the Mexican egg rolls, and my sister got the shrimp fajitas. Because we asked them to take their time putting in our lunch order, my food came out cold unfortunately. Also, the black beans were kind of mushy which made it look a little unappetizing. However they were extremely tasty, and I loved them very much! The other fun thing about this place was there fun T-shirts that you could buy! I bought one for myself and one each for friends as gifts. I cannot wait to share them with them!

We stopped into Fresca on our way down to the casino. Our biggest complaint was that they didn't have a hostess when we arrived and despite several empty tables and several employees walking past us, no one stopped to seat us. It seemed to be a problem many patrons experienced. However, once we finally got a table, it was worth the 10-minute wait. We ordered their special Guava Coconut Margarita which was seriously delicious. It immediately transported me to the Caribbean. I started with Brussel sprouts with a side of their chipotle Mayo and my boyfriend got the special Seared Tuna tacos. Both were delicious! The brussel sprouts were crunchy and tender. My boyfriend didn't speak until both of his tacos were gone lol. For my meal, I got the Braised Beef Quesadilla w/ mango & pineapple salsa, which was also incredible. It was juicy, full of flavor, and very filling. I ended up taking a few pieces home. Unlike most Mexican restaurants, Fresca's decor is rustic chic, which matches its setting. Even with the subpar service, we'd probably visit again the next time we're in that neck of the woods.

Ate at the bar and had a nice experience. There was a musician playing live music which made the atmosphere nice. I ordered the hibiscus margarita and it was amazing - just the right amount of sweetness. Bartender was very friendly. For food I ordered the black and blue pulled pork nachos which was very good and my husband had the three taco meal. He said his food was good too. It's a nice place and would love to visit again to try a meal off the menu.

Whether dining in or grabbing food to go Fresca does not disappoint. The staff is friendly and attentive. We always enjoy an order of tortilla chips and salsa followed by my favorite; southwestern egg rolls complete with avocado ranch. YUM. An order of chicken fajitas for one is truly enough for 2. A must enjoy drink is the coconut mojito or the mango margarita. The restaurant is welcoming and always clean. If you're lucky you can enjoy live music. During the warmer months you can enjoy eating outside.

When fresca first opened I was very excited to try and their food fell short of my expectations. I waited a year or so to go back, and have had nothing but positive experiences since. They definitely improved greatly from when they first opened. Their margaritas are delicious! Kind of expensive, but I believe they are discounted during happy hour (4-6 during the week). My favorite drink is the jalapeño margarita, but the classic is just as good! The food is also great. Recently I had the ahi tuna tostadas and the Mexican Cobb salad. All of their ingredients are so fresh and flavorful - especially the tuna. The salad was super delicious and HUGE. I could have easily made it into three meals. Their tacos are also a favorite of mine, I like to come on taco Tuesday when they are $3 each. Fresca is super popular so I try to go early, there is usually always a wait before the time I leave. The service is super great every time I go - sometimes it can be a bit slow, but that is expected at such a popular restaurant. Fresca has definitely been a great addition to the area.

What a fun night! Came here with a couple of girlfriends. Started at the little lounge area, but…read moresoon took the party to the bar when we ran into another yelpie! Don't let the outside of this place fool you because looks are definitely deceiving. We were cautious coming to this place due to the appearance of the outside, but once we were in it was so much fun. Agus, aka rawbartender, was Ah-mazing and truly made the night fun. He was truly such a vibe!! I ordered the SpongeBob, which was Goslings rum, pineapple spice, ginger, lime, angostura bitters. Especially with the show that was put on, my drink tasted even better. It was a Smokey, yet smooth and refreshing drink! We also got the Snow White, on the sweeter side made with Pear vodka, orgeat, pear juice, lemon juice, cinnamon. And of course, we can't forget our schooling in tequila and Mezcal from Agus. He was very informative of what he was serving and we tried a few different shots. He gave us the rundown of how you're actually supposed to taste tequila. And I have to say I've never had an experience like that before. I wish the party didn't stop and I will definitely be coming back specifically for Agus and of course the drinks!

I have struggled with whether to write this review because this has become one of our favorite…read morelocal restaurants over the last year. In fact, one of the reasons we kept coming back was because this was one of the very few local restaurants that I believed truly understood celiac disease and took gluten-free dining seriously. However, as someone with celiac disease, I feel a responsibility to share my experience because what I have encountered goes far beyond a one-time mistake. Several months ago, we ordered takeout and I tested three separate items that were represented as gluten-free: tacos, a wedge salad, and a pop tart dessert. Most was already naturally gluten free. All three tested positive for gluten. These tests are not cheap, costing approximately $12 each, so this was not something I did lightly. I contacted the restaurant and spoke directly with the head chef. She was professional, understanding, and seemed genuinely concerned. She thanked me for bringing it to her attention and even mentioned that she planned to order a test herself because she could not understand how those items would contain gluten. Because of that conversation, I chose not to leave a review. I genuinely believed the issue would be investigated and corrected, and I wanted to give the restaurant the opportunity to make things right. Unfortunately, a later visit resulted in a positive gluten test on the smoked fish appetizer. Most recently, I returned again and tested several items. The calamari tested negative, but my gluten-free tacos once again tested positive for gluten. At this point, I have simply been glutened one too many times by a restaurant that I genuinely wanted to trust. What makes this especially difficult is that this restaurant presents itself as understanding celiac disease. I was told that members of the restaurant's family, including a daughter, have celiac disease. Hearing that gave me confidence that gluten-free orders would be taken seriously and that proper precautions would be in place. That is what makes these repeated positive gluten tests so confusing and disappointing. When a restaurant claims to understand celiac disease, I expect more than simply offering gluten-free menu items. I expect systems that actually prevent gluten contamination. After multiple positive gluten tests across multiple visits and after bringing my concerns directly to management months ago, it is difficult for me to reconcile those claims with my actual experiences. During my most recent visit, the waitress was kind and helpful, and I appreciate the way she handled the situation. However, I was told that a manager would come speak with me, and no manager ever did. My tacos were removed because they tested positive for gluten, yet I was still charged for them after deciding to take them home (for my non celiac hubby) rather than have them thrown away. In the end, I received a discount, but only after spending nearly $50 on gluten tests during that visit alone. As I write this, I am sitting here sad, frustrated, and in pain, knowing exactly what the next couple of weeks are likely going to look like for me. People often do not see what happens after someone with celiac disease is exposed to gluten. We do not go into anaphylaxis in the restaurant. We go home and suffer through the consequences alone. The symptoms may not be immediately visible to others, but the physical toll is very real. Every restaurant can make a mistake. My concern is not a single mistake. My concern is a repeated pattern over multiple visits, over several months, after the issue was brought directly to the restaurant's attention. I truly wanted to continue supporting this restaurant. I truly wanted to be able to recommend it to others in the celiac community. Unfortunately, after repeated positive gluten tests, repeated gluten exposures, and no evidence that the underlying problem has been corrected, I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant to anyone with celiac disease or anyone who requires a truly gluten-free meal for medical reasons.
