The Fresh Air team did a great job. I just bought a 60yr old house in Ballwin and knew going in that the AC and Furnace needed to be replaced. Then once I got into the house I realize the house was ducted backwards with the returns on the floor under the windows and the supply high on the walls across from the windows. I had not only install a new HVAC system but reduct the house made easier by being a ranch with an unfinished basement.They came out we walked through the whole job so they could give a detail quote with options and available rebates and financing. When time came to install they had everything to get the job done in a timely manner. They cleaned up after themselves, and hauled away all of the material. At the end of the day my basement is much neater and open as I had them move the equipment to one wall in the basement vs. in the middle like the old system. The ductwork is clean and neatly run no more head knockers, and I am glad I had them install the new ductwork as the old ducts were caked with inches of nasty dirty from 60yrs of use. Now my house is quieter with the Carrier Infinity System, more comfortable even at lower temps, and much reduce utility bills. read more

I've had a Carrier unit that Fresh Air installed about 10 years ago and have paid for a maintenance contract ever since. The folks at Fresh-Air couldn't be nicer to work with and I would recommend the company to anyone. However, the Carrier equipment is not up to the quality level that I expected from that manufacturer. Since the installation we have had the draft inducer replaced twice and compressor replaced once. The first draft inducer and the compressor were under warranty but we've just replaced the draft inducer for the second time at our cost of $1400. Including the cost of the maintenance agreement, we've spent about 35% of the installation cost on maintenance and repairs for a residential unit. I don't think the parts failures had anything to do with the quality of their maintenance service. Prior to the Carrier unit we had a Sunbeam system that was trouble-free for about 18 years. In summary, while I highly recommend these folks for their service, attitude and all the factors that make for a good customer experience, I cannot say the same for the Carrier equipment. read more

Wasn't thrilled with brand of programmable thermostat they installed last fall, but they didn't give me a choice. Then it turned out my air conditioning came on whenever my heat came on, which wasn't as easy to detect as you'd think. They did come out and fix that. The problem now that it's summer is that the thermostat isn't recognizing the [warm] temperature I programmed for for my air conditioning during weekdays while I'm at work - so it's been cooling away all day and I wasn't here to discover it. When I called, they said there would be an $89 "diagnostic fee." That isn't a diagnostic fee - that's a royal rip-off. On a thermostat that's less than a year old and hasn't worked well from the beginning. Shame on me for not having checked their apparently non-existent warrantee, but shame on them for being so shockingly dishonest. It just didn't occur to me since I've never run into a company that does this to people. Fresh Air Heating & Cooling has wasted every kind of energy imaginable - not to mention money! read more

Sorry to see that Ted R. had a bad experience with Fresh Air. We have been using their service for many years and have nothing but good things to say about them. Before we hired them to replace our old HVAC system about ten years ago we did obtain at least three estimates and their price was very fair. But more than that, their service over the years has been exceptional. On the rare occasions when we've had to call them because an issue with our system they have been very quick to respond and take care of the problem. We also subscribe to their maintenance program and the technicians that they send to our home twice a year are always courteous and arrive promptly when scheduled. And though we have never been disappointed with any of the technicians that have ever come to our home, we are especially fond of Todd Z and usually try to remember to ask for him when scheduling appointments. His friendliness, product knowledge, and general customer service skills are to be applauded. read more

I have used Fresh Air to install 4 complete heating and cooling systems over a 3 year period replacing 4 older systems. Yes you can get systems installed for less than I paid. But I obtained top of the line air conditioners and furnaces with best warranties in the business. Price also included humidifiers, contained annual air filters and new thermostats. You get what you pay for. Also, the more energy efficient units can entitle you to gas and electric company rebates as well as manufacturer rebates and energy tax credits ( at that point in time). I did obtain bids from other HVAC companies. Fresh Air was very competitive. I have annual maintenance contracts with them. They are professional and knowledgeable. Plus they respect my house by wearing booties whenever they come inside. I am not related to anyone at Fresh Aur not do I know anyone there. They were recommended by a friend of mine. I went through 2 other HVAC companies and I have been very pleased with Fresh Air. read more

Fresh air installed our geothermal two years ago. With the recent storms we have had issues with our water pumps. I called Fresh Air yesterday morning and scheduled an appointment. They didn't have anything available Monday but they scheduled me for this morning. Dan arrived on time as promised and began to get to work. It was determined that air had gotten into the water lines. He explained that he needed a "flush cart" in order to flush the lines and add more water. A new technician arrived his name was Kevin. They got the cart to the basement and flushed the system and added water. The technicians laid drop clothes on the steps and flooring where they planned to walk. This was a nice surprise. Once they had completed the work they suggested a maintenance plan to me. For our two systems it was close to $400. Not sure yet whether we will do that or not. All together the service was fast, simple, and they left no mess behind. Couldn't ask for anything more! read more

Called on a hot Thursday afternoon because my AC was not keeping up with the hot weather. Lizzy was very attentive and tried to scheduled a service call ASAP. I told her I had their phone number from my next door neighbor and that he had a service call scheduled for the following day. She looked at the service schedule and was able to send a tech the following day. Service tech arrived on time and did a full maintenance check of the entire AC system. Got the AC unit repaired the service tech provided me with some maintenance tips. Lizzy offered me the options to sign up for yearly maintenance of AC and heating system at a competitive price and saved me the cost of the service call for the repair. I would definitely recommend this company for their customer service and technical experience. It is hard to find someone willing to go the extra step to accommodate customers. Unbelievable 5 star service- I purchased an new heating and cooling system form Fresh Air-Weinrich in July 2016. They were extremely competitive in their bid and the only company to offer putting on a loaner a/c unit so I could have working a/c while getting on the schedule. Service techs are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Work was completed in one day, cut my utility bill by 50%! Update- 11/12/2016 Blower motor stops working on four month old unit. Called Fresh Air- Weinrich on a Sunday morning, returned call within 2 minutes, had a service tech at my door in 15 minutes (caught a break because they had a tech in the area, but what service to know where their guy on the ground was and redirect to me). Diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts, and was repaired and replaced the next day. read more

My husband and I are very pleased with the new Carrier furnace and air conditioner installed today by two expert technicians at Fresh Air, Randy and Bob. They were on time, professional, knowledgeable, hard-working, quick, and courteous. They put covers over their shoes every time they came into our house and cleaned up the area perfectly. When they finished, they handled all the paperwork, answered our questions and gave us copies of everything. We were also extremely happy with Kevin, the salesperson we worked with. He made sure we got every possible rebate and worked with us to make the price affordable. We truly appreciate his professional, honest, non-pushy manner. Wish all salespeople were like Kevin! I had Fresh Air come out because my air conditioner wasn't cooling. They sent someone out in the time frame they said they would and the tech quickly diagnosed my problem. He was able to fix the issue and had me up and running on a very hot day. Highly recommend. After posting my review, my air conditioner continued to not cool. I called Fresh Air and they sent Todd back out to see what was going on. Todd seemed very knowledgable and he explained to me that I had a leak in my evaporator coil and the refrigerant they added a couple of days ago had leaked out. Todd fixed the leak and we are up and running again!!! I changed my review to 4 stars from 5 because I had to take off work again to meet them, but I will still recommend Fresh Air to family and friends. read more

Fresh Air has been our heating and cooling company for 15 years and we couldn't be more pleased with their work. We have an annual maintenance contract and they really take it seriously. If we call for anything related to our systems, they show up almost immediately. Late on a Friday afternoon last fall, Laclede Gas messed with our gas line then shut off our heat and told us we would have to fix whatever they "tagged" and then left. I called Fresh Air at 4:30 and Chris was at my door by 5:30. He quickly fixed what was tagged and told us what Laclede Gas would need to know in order to turn our gas back on. We were up and running by 9:00 that night. Fresh Air saved the weekend!! read more

The thermostat they installed is like a recurring nightmare. First time out, they installed it so that the air came on at the same time as the heat. Lots of wasted energy before discovering that one. They reinstalled, but it's some off brand that is so awkward, it has little cardboard instructions tucked inside. If you override the pre-programmed settings, it often gets stuck in spite of following the weird little instructions to the letter. When I called about it, I was gaslighted by being told I was just too stupid to work it. The irony is that I chose this company because the name "Fresh Air" sounded nice. Look up the word, "fresh." It also means inexperienced and impudent. Yep. read more

They improperly wired the thermostat the first time. No apologies for all the energy wasted, but they did replace it. I commented at the time that I'd never heard of the brand they used. When it malfunctioned less than a year later, they said they would replace it free of charge, but they were rude about it. I did not sign the invoice and wasn't asked to; the tech drew a line though the charge. A month later, along came a bill - still unsigned and with a line, but doctored to look like I'd been charged all along. These people are so dishonest! read more

The service was outstanding. Fresh Air kept me informed as to when the service man would be at my house and he was prompt, even a few minutes early. He explained the process as he went along, answered any questions and told me how to get additional help if something arose after he was gone. The service was outstanding and the system is working better than before. The consistency of the air throughout the house is the same whereas it had been different by location within the house. This morning I walk into work, I walk back into the kitchen, and I do not hear the air conditioning working. This is not a good sign considering in an hour or so the kitchen will be at about 90-100 degrees once the flat-top and stove gets going. I immediately call Fresh-Air and within two hours there is a very nice service man ready to fix the problem. Within a minute he identifies the issue and we have cool air running through the kitchen. Found out my air conditioner wasn't cooling while in class with the help of my wifi thermostat. I called two companies one was no longer open and Fresh Air's office was closed but I was directed to a live person. Tim was very helpful and walked me through a few steps to make sure it wasn't something silly that I could fix myself. I wasn't that lucky. :) Mike came out to my home and fixed my capacitor in less than an hour. Great experience all around. I would definitely use them again. read more

I have a service agreement and when it's time for the spring/fall check, they work with my schedule and are always on time. They are efficient, clean and very courteous. I had an issue with my humidifier and their response time was excellent. The office personnel are always pleasant and helpful as well.
