We've been using Air Comfort Service for maintenance of our aging HVAC systems for the past few years. After the first visit, where I was very impressed by the exhaustive inspection conducted by the technician, Bob, and his patience in educating me on the systems and their condition, I decided to invest in annual service plans with Air Comfort Service. After a couple of years of inspections and growing awareness and concerns that our systems had already outlived their life expectancy, I began exploring replacement of the systems. Air Comfort Service was very good about working with us on a timeline that was comfortable for us. We met with Scott, who discussed and provided three options on replacement systems for our home, as well as information on available rebates and financing programs. When all of the above aligned, we decided it was time to proactively upgrade our systems, rather than wait and chance they fail unexpectedly during extreme weather, and when rates and availability would surely be less favorable. Once the decision was made, the process moved extremely quickly and efficiently, from product selection, to scheduling, to financing approval, and with Air Comfort Services even submitting paperwork for rebates on or behalf. We hired Air Comfort Service to do an annual furnace tune up after purchasing our first home over the summer. Andrew O., our service technician, arrived on schedule, was very knowledgeable and thorough in his work. Unfortunately for us, Andrew found several issues with our system that was not found during our home inspection, and we had to get a new furnace. Andrew was patient and kind in answering all of my questions and pointing out the problems he found so that I could see them for myself. Air Comfort Service was able to come the next business day to replace the furnace! Robert R. was our installer, and he was just as wonderful to work with as Andrew was. My husband and I are working with a home warranty, and they needed proof of the crack for reimbursement. Robert was beyond helpful as I tried to remember where the crack was and helped me search for it again so I could take a picture for our home warranty. His installation went smoothly and he left the furnace room cleaner than he found it. The team at Air Comfort Service (schedulers, technician, and installer) were all wonderful to work with. Air Comfort has been servicing our heating and cooling needs for over ten years. Our system was approaching end of life so started doing my research about a year ago. Looked at other service suppliers and heating and cooling units, and while highly capable, decided to go with Air Comfort and Carrier. Carrier is right up there with the best of systems and Air Comfort is tops for service. In fact John P, whom has been servicing our system over the years, pin pointed the issue with our furnace blower as soon as he walked through the door. I had my choices on systems down to two, Lenox or Carrier, but after John explained the Carrier options and conferring with his estimator, Steve, they were able to get the system and price range I wanted and installed on the same day! Chris and Paul are working on the installation as I type and I cannot wait to turn it on. Terrell W came to my house to do an annual inspection and maintenance of my two central A/C units. He was on time, as promised, and very friendly and courteous. He thoroughly serviced my A/C units. He measured refrigerant levels, compressor pressure levels, and cooling temperatures of the air flowing around the evaporator coils. He cleaned the condenser coils, replaced my air filters (ones that I had bought), and checked the electrical function of the components in the compressor/condensor unit. He did a great job and I would always welcome him to service my heating/cooling equipment again. I have used Air Comfort Service for 19 years now and I have always been extremely happy with the service and professionalism I have received from them. I bought two Carrier furnace/AC units from them back in 2001, which are still in use, and an A. O. Smith water heater in 2015 (yes, they install water heaters too). They're a great company. Our AC hadn't been maintained or redone since 1994. We did a complete AC overhaul with new AC, water heater, thermostat, and duct sealing. We used Air Comfort Service, Inc. (St. Louis) and had the best experience. Scott, the project manager, Mark, the head technician, and the rest of the techs did a fabulous job. They were kind, happy humans who were fun to have in the house. They arrived at 7:30am and were here until 6:00pm. They shut off the water and air and worked quickly, even in the horrid heat and rainstorm we had that day. I never heard a negative word amongst them. They fully explained everything they were doing, and smiled while they answered all my questions. I assumed our house would heat up quickly while the AC was off, but it never got above 82. Air Comfort doesn't do just furnaces and air conditioners. They also service water heaters. After having an electrician (not with Air Comfort) install a new electric panel, I had been unable to get the water heater to work, so I called Air Comfort. Corey S arrived, and after just a few minutes of checking out the water heater, he asked to see the electric panel. With some amazing detective work, he determined that the panel was mismarked, and the double breaker marked "A/C" was actually my water heater. The breaker marked "water heater" was the dryer. We're guessing the breaker marked "dryer" is actually the A/C. While he was there, he was able to also clean the furnace. My parents had recommended this company to us many years ago, and Air Comfort has serviced my parents' home as well as ours very capably for many years. We highly recommend this company. Replaced old A/C and installed a new humidifier and Wifi Thermostat. They did a great job installing the equipment and it works so much better than the old unit. It is also much quieter than the old A/C, which rattled and "roared". Now we can sit on our deck and actually carry on a normal conversation. The Wifi setup was easy enough and the downloaded app is a real gem in that it is simple and easy to use. You don't have to use Wifi at all. It is just handy for folks who travel. I must mention that our repairman Bob, who has serviced our heater and A/C was very willing to deal with my questions about new systems that I was considering to replace the old. Steve, who handled the installation also was also helpful and covered the set up process for the thermostat and it's options. I've been using Air Comfort Service for a couple of years now. They installed both a new A/C unit (Jun 2015) and a furnace (Feb 2016). In both cases the installers were great - friendly, punctual, clean and efficient. The only thing that keeps this from a 5 star review was that I had to have them come back out recently. The back bedrooms were not getting any air (which had not been a issue until the furnace (and it's new ductwork) was installed. Honestly, I hadn't noticed the problem until it got really hot. Anyway, the problem was the air diverters were sending all the air to the front - something that had been set during installation. But I was still charged an $89 service call to have the issue remedied. Seemed a little unfair. read more

Today, 6/16/2016, Air Comfort technicians installed a new air/heating unit in our home. The technicians were friendly, courteous and professional. The job site was cleaned up during and after job was finished. Part of the job was a new thermostat. The technicians made sure we knew how to set the thermostat and how to operate the new air/heating unit. The new unit is much quieter than the old one. All of the technicians involved in the job did a great job for us. I would also like to mention our regular unit technician, Bob. For the last three years,I have always asked for Bob to be our service technician. He does a good job checking our unit and he is willing to answer any questions I ask of him. read more

Paul H, Mike and Jason came out to install a new furnace, air conditioner, water heater and humidifier. Paul knocked out the water heater fairly quickly and then Mike and Jason did the rest. All together it took about 8 hours, including showing me how everything worked and what I am required to do regularly. They also installed a new thermostat and checked the exhaust on the roof where there was a water issue. Everything looks so polished and all wiring and ducting clean and finished. They were very friendly and polite and didn't seemed rushed to get out. I am extremely pleased at this point and would recommend this company and every tech who has been here. read more

This is the first time we used Air Comfort but it seems they have been serving this house we recently bought for years. The team was all very professional and knew exactly what we wanted and were very genuine with their recommendations. They gave us different options and seem to be very empathetic with our situation. I first used Air Comfort Service last year when I needed my furnace inspected prior to selling my home. Because of a miscommunication with the Buyer of my home last year, I was forced to provide a furnace inspection at the last minute. I was in a panic when I called since we were closing the next day. On Saturday afternoon, our air conditioner stopped working. We called Air Comfort's after hours service. John contacted me by phone within 10 minutes of my call and was at our house within the hour. He was able to get our air conditioner working within the hour. He was professional and very informative. John was even concerned that I was laying my granddaughter down for a nap and he made sure that he used the shop vac and anything that would make noise before I laid her down.
