My wife and I enjoyed a delicious dinner here recently. She had the grilled salmon, and I had a chef's salad - both of which were excellent. Our server Madison was personable and professional. We sat outside in comfortable surroundings and were able to converse without interference from noise. Several families had young children.

There are several locations of this casual chain around the greater Charlotte area. We were very pleased when this location opened near our home. My wife and I went in for lunch and were greeted by a plentiful staff, all of which were very attentive. We are huge fans of their kale salad and their smoked salmon appetizer. The smoked salmon appetizer is perfectly cooked to a medium temperature and it is served with a creamy spread. The salads are chopped, have a house made dressing and are great topped with a protein of your choice. My wife ordered salmon on top of her kale salad while I ordered the blackened chicken. Both were cooked perfectly and the portion was large enough for us to make two meals out each salad. I have enjoyed their hamburgers at other locations which are also very good.

Cutest quaintest hidden gem in Huntersville. Today my friend and I popped in here for lunch on a whim. We were entered through the patio area which is extremely spacious. The hostess was friendly and welcomed us in. Our waitress was Kendall and she was amazing. The menu is ongoing so I was overwhelmed with choices so I had Kendall make some suggestions. I ordered fish tacos for me and my friend and $5 mimosas! I had a side of. Geese grits while my friend had fries. Tbe inside is cute without being too casual or too fancy. The Saturday crowd of people were friendly. The tacos taste fresh and the sauce that they use is so delicious! Talking about a party in your mouth. The manager came around and asked about the meal. Kim explained the hours and told us more about the restaurant. I am definitely going to be a repeat customer! Drop by if you're in the area fresh chef is located in the shopping center with the Publix and it is free parking!

My server was amazing as we (Im)patiently waited for him. I ordered the roasted beet tower to start. Finely diced marinated beets with a thin slice of goat cheese topped with mixed greens and a vinaigrette. This dish tasted so fresh! My husband's only complaint was chasing the tiny beets around the plate (first world problems) I chose to have a cup of their creamy chicken soup. No rice, no potato filler - cream based, fresh chicken mushrooms and carrots danced around my mouth. Topped with Gruyère (I think) each bite was like a rich warm hug from grandma Our entrees arrived in a timely manner - him having the ahi tuna poke bowl. He chose to substitute the rice for mixed greens. He devoured the entree and noted the tuna being sweet for the longer sear - his fault, he forgot to ask for it to be cooked extremely rare or done raw, poke style as it was to be a poke bowl which is typically served raw. I chose the harvest bowl. A base of rice and quinoa topped with Brussel sprouts, beets, greens, goat cheese, and butternut squash. I chose to add grilled shrimp. Holy cow. I felt like all of the vegetables were home grown from the chef's garden. Perfectly roasted and seasoned. An impressive rice/quinoa topped vegetable ratio exceeded all expectations!!!

The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a great atmosphere and a welcoming vibe that makes it an enjoyable place to spend an evening. The location is convenient, and the space feels fresh, modern, and inviting. The service was also a highlight of the experience. Our server was friendly, attentive, and helped make the meal enjoyable from start to finish. The restaurant is known for its casual yet upscale ambiance, which definitely came through during our visit.  Where the experience fell a bit short for me was the food. Everything was prepared well and perfectly edible, but nothing really stood out or felt especially memorable. It wasn't bad by any means--just not quite at the same level as the atmosphere and service. I went for the lobster tail ravioli, and it was just a bit too chewy for my taste. I was hoping for a dish that would make me eager to come back, but that didn't happen on this visit. I could, however, come back. I would give it a second chance and would like to try drinks from the bar.  Overall, Torrence and Knox is a great spot for the ambiance, service, and overall dining experience. If you're looking for a comfortable place to meet friends, enjoy drinks, or have a relaxed night out, it's definitely worth a visit. I'd return for the atmosphere alone and would be interested to try more of the menu in the future.

This was our first time here, and it's a very nice venue. To start, their coffee is delicious and strong. I had the Double Up, with scrambled eggs (with added cheddar), bacon, sausage links, sourdough toast, and fruit. My husband had the Short Rib Hash with a side of potatoes. He forgot the hash also had potatoes, and should have gotten something else, because he had far too many potatoes! My scrambled eggs were a little over cooked and the cheese was only melted on top (rather than being mixed in), but they were still decent. The bacon was perfectly crispy--as requested, and the sausage links were fine. The sourdough toast was buttered and delicious. And the fruit had watermelon--a nice addition to the usual fruit cup. My husband's short rib hash was good. The eggs were perfectly medium, but the potatoes were a bit salty. Easy Like Sunday still makes our favorite version of this dish. Our server was very pleasant, and the wait wasn't too long for our food. I loved that we could pay with ApplePay via the Toast handheld. While everything wasn't perfect, we'll definitely return and try some different items. I want to try them for dinner, too!

Chef Erick + team take every measure to prevent cross contamination for those with allergies - whether seafood or gluten. I also love the way their set up is: order your drinks from king canary, order your food from the Marlee Jeans side. It's perfect for gathering with a group as they give you a number tent and the server/food runner brings you the food as soon as it is prepared. In my opinion, this prevents food from sitting in the windows and getting cold cause "it's not my table." The concept of gathering your own utensils (not plastic) is spot on as it allows those who only want to drink and sit and socialize not feel pressured to order a full sit down meal, thus washing cutlery that's never been used. For this most recent visit, I took advantage of their snow-weather special: $30 for 1 dozen raw oysters as well as their lobster Mac and cheese. Coming out hot and bubbly with a cheese crust, I had to wait for the Mac and cheese to cool off to eat. I sat at the raw bar and watched Chef Erick personally shuck my oysters. The presentation was great and everything was decent, but the food itself was just okay overall. Atmosphere and drinks definitely carried the experience for me. Giving this one 4 stars because the vibe was really nice, patio was dog-friendly, and that Bloody Mary deserves its own shoutout.
