Amazing experience! From the food to the friendly staff everything was amazing! Made my birthday extra special.

Crab cake dinner, a very good choice

Our party of 5 had dinner in the restaurant. For a Tuesday evening the restaurant was not busy. The service was outstanding. Jaxen was super great, efficient, courteous, and top notch. The place was quiet and not noisy. They did well in designing the indoor seating area. The food was extremely well prepared, hot, and very tasteful. We had no issues and were very satisfied. The prices were in line with a higher end restaurant. We will definitely come back again.

Man... the food is amazing, service is great, decor is on point, great live music all the time, full bar, desserts. Oh and pickle ball and golf simulators hahahaha. Yes I told my wife, we are going to a pickle ball spot for breakfast ?! She got me with the Jazz! But once I tried the food, We have been back multiple times since. They even hooked up my omelet into a burrito

Brisket grilled cheese and French fries really really good I would highly recommend it

So I've been here several times and I have always been extremely pleased with the food, the service and the ambiance. I have tried breakfast once and lunch three times. I would highly recommend this place. The best part is the awesome lighted pickleball courts they have here, 10 indoor six outdoor really top notch all the way. This business is a great addition to the Lake Norman community!!

Braised short rib on creamy polenta with a side of fingerling potatoes. Was yummy!!

Great food. I had braised ribs on creamy polenta and side of fingerling potatoes. Both were excellent but needed salt for my taste. That's where I had a problem. You can't get salt or pepper out of the tiny hole shakers and they are not sitting on the table. So I got hot food but had to wait to eat it until I got a salt and pepper shaker. I just got up and went to the cafe bar for a set after I waited, during a non-busy time of day & they thought I was taken care of, for a few minutes. Then my waitress was great but I stayed a few hours working on my computer and when she left and I had checked out, I never got asked again if I wanted anything by the new server. I didn't want anything.. but they should've asked. I like the place. Looks fun w golf & pickle ball.

Set right in downtown Davidson across from Davidson College, the atmosphere strikes that perfect balance--lively but still intimate. The menu evolves frequently, so what we saw differed from what's posted online--but that turned out to be part of the charm. Everything sounded appealing, and choosing wasn't difficult. Our server stood out immediately--deeply knowledgeable and able to walk through each dish with impressive detail, right down to preparation. It's easy to see why Kindred earned "Recommended" status in the inaugural Michelin Guide American South and continues to be recognized for top-tier hospitality and cuisine. We started with the Little Gem lettuce salad--fresh, bright, and elevated by the perfect crunch and subtle richness of pistachios. For my entrée, I had the rigatoni with guanciale, English peas, and pecorino sardo--rich, balanced, and full of flavor without being heavy. A memorable meal all around.

My cousin had something with gin and sage and her husband had an herbaceous drink with bourbon. To eat, We had the pickles, fried oysters, duck fat fries, momo chicken salad and cinnamon rolls! omg so good! I had the shrimp roll- a lobster roll but made with shrimp. It's absolutely beautiful inside--warm, cozy, and intimate in a way that makes you feel like you've stepped into a little escape Perfect for a date night or a relaxed evening out. We were seated pretty quickly, which is always a great start. Our server, Ashlene, was an absolute gem Her sweet personality and warm smile made the whole experience even better. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and gave some really great recommendations (we love a server who knows their stuff ). We kicked things off with drinks I had the spiced cherry mule, and my husband ordered a margarita--both were genuinely delicious and well-made. For starters, we shared the artisan bread (perfectly done, soft with just the right texture ) and a shrimp cocktail. The only tiny note: the cocktail sauce was a little on the bitter/strong side, so just go easy with it When it came time for the main course, my husband kept it light, but I went with Ashlene's recommendation--the Cajun chicken pasta--and WOW They make their pasta fresh (HELLO YES ), and it was flavorful, creamy, and not dry at all. To wrap things up, we shared the Budino for dessert and it was the perfect sweet ending. We both loved it. Overall, such a great experience from start to finish. Beautiful atmosphere, amazing food, and standout service--definitely a spot we'll be coming back to

The filet also had no flavor and the mashed tasted like absolutely nothing. The salads that came on our plate were covered in blue cheese, which I can't stand. So I barely ate it. The drinks and chocolate cake (which was $7 more) were the highlight of the night. The server was great. Patient and really friendly. The stocky, middle aged man walking the floor all night, coming up to tables multiple times asking how everything is was....odd. Leave us alone to enjoy our meal. Go run food or drinks or maybe help season those awful mashed potatoes.

The place looks like a pub, inside and out, with a huge patio in the rear. All the workers we encountered were really polite and personable. It was very clean inside, even the bathrooms. We pretty much knew what we wanted but enjoyed looking at the menu anyway. Started off with a 20 oz Black & Tan and a 16 oz Harps. So good. My husband had the Fish and Chips. Perfect fry, thick and flaky fish, served with a side of malt vinegar and tartar sauce. The slaw was crisp and savory and the fries crisp. He loved every bite. I had the Bangers and Mash. The sausage was tender with a delicious onion gravy. Some veggies were included (green beans, cauliflower and carrot). The mash itself was creamy and chunky, just the way I love it. Complete comfort food. We ended the meal by splitting a dish of Sticky Toffee Pudding. It was sweet and savoury, with a hint of salt to balance, topped with vanilla ice cream and more toffee sauce. (I haven't had a Sticky Toffee Pudding since I was a child and this was such a delicious treat to share.) The whole experience was exceptional and we cannot wait to go back.

They, very kindly, offered to put us on the list while we were in-route! We arrived and were seated within minutes. Very cool of them to do that! Our waiter was very patient, friendly and explained the specials and menu items in detail. He made the dining a positive experience for sure! Potato bites were good. Whatever the shmear underneath was it could use some more of that! Bangers and mash were meh. Bland mash, overcooked bangers and not enough gravy. I was provided some extra gravy though. Fish and Chips were a big hit! Perfect cook and the batter was light, crisp and stuck to the fish well! Tartar was great. Slaw was on the boring side but unnecessary in the end. Everyone was friendly, a band was playing, the lights were dim, drinks were cold and the fish is good. If you live in the area I highly recommend checking it out!
