Reserve one of their 10 pickleball court in their air conditioned room or grab one outside when it's not hot. There are also golf simulators, dining space, and event space so bring the whole crew to have fun and hang out. The courts are spaced out so groups can play and have a comfortable booth to sit and order food. Their bartender Krista was very engaging and happy to suggest a beverage with your favorite libation. We ate in the restaurant. My son enjoyed the kids chicken tenders. My wife and I enjoyed the short ribs grilled cheese and the bbq chicken pizza. There's a full breakfast and lunch menu and breakfast is available till 2 on Saturday so you have a variety of options to order. My husband and I decided to try The Serve for breakfast one Saturday morning, and I'm glad we did. They open at 7am, but the restaurant wasn't yet busy, so we easily got a booth. This was our first time here, and it's a very nice venue. To start, their coffee is delicious and strong. I had the Double Up, with scrambled eggs (with added cheddar), bacon, sausage links, sourdough toast, and fruit. My husband had the Short Rib Hash with a side of potatoes. He forgot the hash also had potatoes, and should have gotten something else, because he had far too many potatoes! My scrambled eggs were a little over cooked and the cheese was only melted on top (rather than being mixed in), but they were still decent. The bacon was perfectly crispy--as requested, and the sausage links were fine. The sourdough toast was buttered and delicious. And the fruit had watermelon--a nice addition to the usual fruit cup. My husband's short rib hash was good. The eggs were perfectly medium, but the potatoes were a bit salty. Easy Like Sunday still makes our favorite version of this dish. Our server was very pleasant, and the wait wasn't too long for our food. I loved that we could pay with ApplePay via the Toast handheld. While everything wasn't perfect, we'll definitely return and try some different items. I want to try them for dinner, too! read more

Second time visiting The Serve for breakfast and it was again very good and exceeded my expectations. The decor is upscale, with tables and booths which are very comfortable. FIrst time I had the French toast and my friend had the steak and eggs which looked amazing and he said was one of the best he had. Today we went back and I got steak and eggs and man was that good. They nailed the temp on steak medium rare and the taste was fantastic. Usually steak and eggs as restaurants can be of a lower quality but this melted in your mouth. I got the eggs scrambled (3 eggs rather than the standard 2), an English muffin and fruit were my sides(other options available). The service was also very good. The only downside was the coffee served in the restaurant with breakfast. The first time I went I did not care for as it was kind of bitter, I gave it a second chance And unfortunately same thing. I later found out they use packets of grounds (probably burnt a bit) and drip the coffee, the server mentioned others have said also the coffee was not the best. However they do have a coffee and desert bar area separate from restaurant (right next to it inside) that you can get better coffee (fancy drinks) and they grind their own beans and others have since told me that is good coffee. I hope the restaurant takes the feedback and tries to improve that part of the equation. read more

Wow. Honestly kinda blown away by this place. First of all the facility is beautiful, they have indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, top golf simulators, a bar, and a fully functional cafe/restaurant. All of it is super modern, clean, and well designed. Now onto the food specifically - I heard it was really good so I decided to order some lunch. My only complaint is there's no way to order online so I had to call my order in. I got a burger and fries, chicken wings, and guacamole. The burger was great, I have no complaints at all, and the fries were fresh and flavorful. The wings were jumbo and juicy. I don't think I'll order the barbalo sauce next time, but other than that the wings were amazing. They come with fresh celery and carrots and blue cheese/ranch. Overall I was impressed. And the guacamole was fresh, chunky, and tasted great. The chips were good too, honestly no complaints and would order again. Overall I was surprised how good the food is here being a pickleball facility. The restaurant area is honestly much nicer than most restaurants in the Lake Norman area and I wouldn't think twice about taking someone here for lunch. Everything feels well run, thought out, and I'm glad to see it looks like they're growing fast. Our party of 5 had dinner in the restaurant. For a Tuesday evening the restaurant was not busy. The service was outstanding. Jaxen was super great, efficient, courteous, and top notch. The place was quiet and not noisy. They did well in designing the indoor seating area. The food was extremely well prepared, hot, and very tasteful. We had no issues and were very satisfied. Great food. I had braised ribs on creamy polenta and side of fingerling potatoes. Both were excellent but needed salt for my taste. That's where I had a problem. You can't get salt or pepper out of the tiny hole shakers and they are not sitting on the table. So I got hot food but had to wait to eat it until I got a salt and pepper shaker. I just got up and went to the cafe bar for a set after I waited, during a non-busy time of day & they thought I was taken care of, for a few minutes. Then my waitress was great but I stayed a few hours working on my computer and when she left and I had checked out, I never got asked again if I wanted anything by the new server. Played open play for women and literally had someone try to hit a serve overhead like tennis. When I informed her that was illegal she lost her mind. Average 3.0 at best play which is fine, just be aware and it should be stated as such. Since I left after crazy and level of 4 minute play (11-1) loss, I was told I would receive a refund. Never happened. Waste of time and money. Staff friendly though and place is clean. Haven't eaten or had drinks there. read more

I brought my fiance who has never hit a pickleball to this place. From the staff helping her, to the guidance by other players, I just can't say enough positives. The layout of this place is awesome. The courts are great. The fellow players are competitive but kind. I wish I had another set of hands and arms so I could give this place 4 thumbs up. The food has been incredible every time I eat here. Most recently I got breakfast, the crab cake Benedict. It was so delicious! I never want to have a traditional Benedict again! Between that and the short rib hash I know what I'll eat for breakfast here every time! And for dinner I had the salmon and it was heavenly. So perfectly cooked and a good balance with the quinoa and carrots. I also love that the restaurant part is never loud. The music is kept at a decent volume and the noise level is minimal! Bernadette "Bernie" is a great server and makes sure you are well taken care of. First of the pickleball and golf set up are awesome. So 5/5 for that. The diver after however was not so good. It was not crowded and yet it took 30 minutes to get out cocktails. Did vans out as cocktails were served. No acknowledgement about this. That's what happens when you hire a bunch of nice high school kids. Professionalism lacks despite good intentions. 3 of us decided to check this place out for both the food and atmosphere. Atmosphere is there, the food not so much. 2 of us had the 8pc chicken wings and one dish was rubbery; both wing dishes were barely even warm, and they was nothing crispy about the wings at all after reading the menu how the wings are put on a 800 degree grill. Maybe the kitchen isn't quite ready, because i would say somebody missed a step on the wings. The third dish, a spicy shrimp wrap, was described as "ok". Play ball and skip the meal. read more

Three of us tried the restaurant last evening for the first time. The 7 o'clock reservation not needed. Light crowd. So you would think things would happen fast. Not so. Sloooooow was the operative word last evening. Waters to drink only, but still waited about 20 minutes to have order taken. Ordered a soup starter, chicken sandwich, a burger, and a po boy. Nothing fancy. Waited at least 30 minutes for the food. Soup was barely warm, sweet potato fries were probably good at lunch when they were made, but now not so much, Chicken sand mediocre, po boy was average, but my burger was very good. Sent the soup back due to temp. Got a hotter replacement, but no spoon, EVER. To top it off, I had to seek out our server to get the check so we could leave. Not a good first experience. On the plus side, our server was kind an conscientious, but severely lacking in training and experience. So he gets a pass, but not management for their lack of awareness. The Serve has been open less than 2 weeks and I've been there several times already...,each time, I try something new on the menu. Every item I've had has been delicious and (I think) a good value. The staff has been very attentive, making sure I het my food and drink in a timely manner. I highly recommend The Serve...and save room for the Dubai Chocolate Brownie for dessert! It's a fun place to play pickleball (courts are incredible), play all kinds of games in the TopGolf Swing Suites, or just meet friends to watch your favorite team's game. We've been a number of times now for breakfast/brunch- excellent food, although more often than not the orders haven't been correct. Make sure to go over your order a few times. (this has happened with a number of different servers). You also need to ask specifically for salt and pepper on the table, and make sure you do it when you order because if you wait till your order is delivered your food it will be cold before you actually get the salt and pepper-(ketchup, whatever). I think the kitchen must be far away from the dining room? Even asking for more coffee takes a while. We are so impressed with The Serve in Cornelius NC. This top notch establishment is so unique & gives off just the right vibe to feel comfortable to come play Pickleball, Top Golf, watch the game on their TV's or just stop in to have lunch, dinner and drinks. 1st off-The staff has been wonderful, so professional and friendly. From the time you enter building, you are greeted by very polite young men & women (Chris could not have been any nicer & was so patient & helpful with us). Angela, the mgr, was also kind & helpful. 2nd-As for the Serve Restaurant: Love the decor & ambiance. Private dining area with high booths separate from the bar & high top tables. We have had Lunch & Dinner several times & food has been superb. Chef Carlos is the best! We have not tried breakfast yet because during week breakfast is served until 11:00. We don't finish playing PB until noon. We have tried many items on menu & few of our favorites are Protein Power Up Bowl w/salmon, Quesadillas, Short Rib Grilled Cheese, Thai Shrimp, & Corn/Clam Chowder. Great wraps & salads too. Bartenders have been awesome. The Double Espresso Martini is great. Hot & cold coffee drinks can be purchased at your table or at the cafe on your way to PB courts. 3rd-We love how PB courts are outdoor courts but inside. We have played some of our compass matches there. Twice now we have had birthday celebrations with large group (12-16) play PB, then eat afterwards in The Serve Restaurant. 4th-On Sunday, even with large company's holiday event going on, never did we feel neglected. Our server Josh (Joshua) was one fine server. He was so quick to attend to our table with taking drink & dinner orders. With (15) in attendance, and (8) separate checks asked for, Josh had every check correct with what was ordered and tallied correctly. Josh was so pleassant to have as our server. 5th-Only negative is we live 35-40 minutes away, although that hasn't stopped us from going 3-4 times per week.
