I am a frequent user of fresh coast, and unfortunately am not impressed with the kitchen. After managing a deli and working in food service, I am not impressed in the amount of waiting there is just for a sandwich. Sometimes I am the only person there, and I have to wait 10-15 minutes just to get my food. Please, speed up the team. read more

We used to love the sandwiches from Fresh Coast Market but sadly the quality has greatly decreased with the new ownership. The size of the sandwiches and salads are less than half of what they used to be and you barely get any toppings. Service is much less friendly, almost cold. read more

A nice little specialty market with a good deli, prepared foods, pizzas, and salads. They have a seating area to eat in on the one side nearest the deli and food prep area. Breads and baked goods are also on display in this area, while the grocery section is on the other half. Several aisles of natural grocery foods are available, along with a wall of freezers featuring frozen goods. Staff was friendly and efficient at check-out. Friggen love thus place. Deli has an awesome selection. That is flavored for patrons 4-104 years old. Many local products and a killer sandwich shop to boot. Grab n' Go options if your in a hurry. Order ahead and pick up pizza, subs. Soups and salad has saved dinner time for our house more times than I care to admit. Convenience Store has the beers, booze, chips, Pop and even a small grocery selection. I dispose driving into TC when I don't have to. This place has been steadily raising prices beyond the rate of inflation. Found out this morning that the price raises have continued to a point I can no longer afford to be a customer. They only want rich people as customers, they can have them. Overpriced mediocre food. read more

I was lucky enough to find this little market on a cold, drizzly Monday afternoon a few weeks ago. Warm, friendly service from the person stocking shelves to the lovely young lady at the cash register all made me feel like I was "home." There was a package of sliced provolone cheese with mold on it hanging up in the deli section. A loaf of fresh bread also had mold on it. We bought a package of cheese spread because it was sealed and the expiration date was in two months. When we opened the cheese spread at home, it had mold on it. It must not have been kept at the proper temperature. The cheese spread was in a different refrigerated section than the sliced cheese. Edit: in response to the comment below. My review is completely true. I also informed the cashier at check out of the mold on the provolone cheese and bread. My review is 100% accurate. read more

While I would dearly love to shop at Fresh Coast, it is not safe to do so. NO ONE, including those prepping deli food is wearing a mask despite CDC insisting it is important to do so. Masks are also required inside buildings in Michigan. All shoppers had them on. I counted seven employees unmasked. I will not be shopping there again until the virus is gone. read more

This place is awesome! Great deli, coffee, and so much more. I love food and the affogato with Moomers ice cream is one of the best things I have ever eaten! The mix of good strong espresso and sweet ice cream was perfect. Friendly staff and a kid friendly dining area made this our best experience in Traverse City! Just ate a pepperoni roll on the road. Very disappointed! I would not recommend the BBQ ribs at all! They were so tough and chewy not sure they no how to cook ribs! And for what we paid at $14 is was a rip off! In addition we asked for extra sauce and they gave us a 1oz soufflé cup partially filled with sauce lol I thought it was a joke it wa litterly a half teaspoon of sauce! Pricey, but good. It's not your typical corner store. And that's not what they are aiming to be. They offer a variety of local items as well as a great beer and liquor selection. Great food. Great staff. However it takes wayyyyy too long for sandwiches. The wait can take up to 30 minutes. I've been here many times and usually off peak times and the wait is too long. They seem well staffed so not sure the hold up. It's making it my non preferred choice now. read more

If you want a delicious sandwhich and are on the run, hit up Fieldstone. They have so many options;you basically design your own. They are huge and very reasonably priced. You can eat there or take out, and they also have a small grocery area for things you might need. Only reason I'm not giving it a full five stars is because the tables appeared to be somewhat dirty to eat on and they weren't very busy. Nice, friendly staff though. read more

I was visiting Cedar, MI from San Francisco and we stopped at this Deli for dinner. One of the best Ruben Panini I had anywhere, quality ingredients made a quality sandwich. My niece had the Italian panini and it was great too. The buffalo chicken bites were a-ok but 5 stars because the staff were friendly and helpful to us. I stopped in Saturday afternoon for a couple of sandwiches. There was more than one group in the store that were not masked up. They staff seemed oblivious to this. Live near by and shop there often. I will never go back. read more
