Grilled steak with glazed carrots and grilled corn sides
    Julie B.

Had the grilled steak with glazed carrots and grilled corn sides; enhanced the steak with the citrus aioli. This was my first time eating here but won't be my last. Especially when I don't feel like cooking a full meal.

I've been eating here for years. I used to have a review for FCG on Yelp, but when I got a new phone, all of my reviews disappeared when the data was transferred over. Imagine several years of reviews and check-ins gone in moments. Ugh! Had a late lunch today with a friend for my birthday. We both enjoyed our meal. Fresh, flavorful, warm, and good size portions. I had the Skirt Steak with mashed potatoes and basmati rice. My friend had the enchiladas with a side of basmati rice. We shared a side of bread. The bread was fresh and soft, but it wasn't warm. Our only complaint. I've tried pretty much the entire menu over the years. Never really had a bad experience; except the Chicken Breast can be a bit dry at times. To avoid this ask for a breast that's soaking in the juices, and that will prevent the dryness. Sign up for their free rewards program. The points never expire and they rarely send emails. They sent me a $5 off reward for my birthday, and I had $14 in reward credits. Definitely join. The service is always friendly and gracious. Food comes out pretty quick. Indoor and outdoor dining. They recently renovated the restaurant and it looks great. Beer and wine is available. Check them out. You won't be disappointed.

One of my favorite spots! Everything on the menu tastes great, but you have to try the fresh corn chowder! It's like a sweet, cozy corn soup and so good. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous too. I used to go to the Westwood location a lot, but the West Hollywood location has outdoor seating and a really cozy vibe. The staff were friendly as well.

The cashier was straight up rude and unnecessary. A delivery driver (DoorDash/Uber) was just trying to pick up an order that was already ready, the delivery told him that his car is on hazard, and instead of just handing it over, he was told--rudely--to fall in a long line like he didn't matter. What made it worse? He literally let everyone else go ahead before finally deciding to acknowledge him. Like, what was the point of that? Just a power trip for no reason. I get it, everyone has bad days, but taking it out on someone just doing their job isn't it. Do better."

Huge bug in my Caesar salad!!!

Fresh corn grill is disgusting!!!! I just picked up my food 10 minutes ago, I came home to eat and discovered this giant bug in my Caesar salad! It is still moving in there, all of their lettuce is probably infested and so is their kitchen. I've tried calling them 10 times in a row just now and they don't pick up their phone and are just so ignorant. Not to mention my food was sitting in their expo window when I arrived to pick it up and it took them an extra 10 minutes just to put it in the bag and give it to me, which let the bug stew in the salad some more. The front desk guy was obviously overwhelmed he was all sweaty with sweat blots on his clothing touching all this food. I can see through the expo window that the kitchen looks filthy and obviously no one is paying attention to what's going on there. This place is so mismanaged and filthy, as a Chef of over 15 years, I don't recommend anyone come here unless you're ready for a surprise in your food. Edit: I called the Westwood location, supposedly there was some bad divorce with the owners of the company so now this West Hollywood location is owned by the husband supposedly, not taking care of the business at all. BEWARE!!!!

Customer service was superb. They were very helpful with suggestions and I didn't feel rushed. The food was 10/10. The restaurant is indoor /outdoor seating.

This restaurant is loved by a lot of my colleagues. It is in walking distance from our buildings. It is a little on the slow side, so if you are on a time crunch, you may want to order ahead. The food is very good. My go-to is the sundried tomato pasta with grilled chicken & their raspberry lemonade. My goodness.. So delicious! It's very filling & it's a large portion. The restaurant is a little pricey, but it's worth the $.

    Live BUG in Caesar Salad

BEWARE OF BUGS IN YOUR FOOD. LIVE BUG IN my husband's SALAD utterly disgusting my husband is currently vomiting. They are so busy and rushing that horrible things get left in your food. I loved fresh corn grill, after this never again. We picked up on food in person today once we got home we saw this and we've been calling and calling the number but no one is answering. Poorly Managed place, if you can't handle how busy you are you should be aware of that instead of leaving carelessly leaving LIVE bugs in the food you're serving to ppl.

Our first time in WeHo (LA, CA) and we stumbled across Fresh Corn Grill and decided to give them a try. The ambiance and location is very casual and spacious. They have plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. The staff were very nice and helpful when we ordered. This place literally has a little bit of everything on the menu. We decided to go with: - Salmon, wild brown rice and grilled asparagus with a citrus dressing on the side. The salmon has a nice flavor and grilled asparagus were pretty good. I chose wild brown rice which was fine nothing special about it but I was expecting the traditional wild brown rice which has a grain mix and colorful. This was just plain basic brown rice. The citrus dressing was my favorite and added more flavor to my dish. - Grilled Skirt Steak, wild brown rice, steamed broccoli with Asian BBQ sauce on the side. This dish was just ok. The steak was a good quality but lacked flavor. The steak flavor was mostly the chard taste from the grill. Thankfully we had some sauce to help flavor it. The steamed broccoli was fresh but zero flavor it was basically out the "bag" steam and served. I didn't even finish it and the wild brown rice as we mentioned above was not wild brown rice. Overall, our first impressions were that it was just ok. I wish the food was more flavorful. Listen it was good but just basic good so, if you're in the area give them a try we still recommend a stop. You may enjoy it more than we did.

Grilled rock fish with mash potato and sautéed mushrooms.
    Harry P.

This meal was an absolute treat! The grilled fish was perfectly seasoned and flaky, paired beautifully with the charred lemon for that extra zing. The mashed potatoes were creamy with tasty red potato chunks, and the sautéed mushrooms were super flavorful earthy, herby, and cooked just right. The side sauce tied everything together nicely. The garlic bread? Warm, soft inside, with a crisp edge. A great starter. And the steak pasta? WOW. Generous chunks of juicy, grilled steak on a bed of creamy, veggie-loaded spaghetti--every bite was rich, hearty, and comforting. The cherry tomatoes and greens added a nice freshness to balance the creamy sauce. Total comfort food with a gourmet twist! Highly recommend both dishes quality, portion size, and flavors are on point!

I'm sorry you were led to believe that, because when it's done right, it's an incredible combination. One thing that can ruin a BBQ pizza is getting the sauce-to-cheese ratio wrong, but Prime Pizza nailed it. My first experience (a Friday night pizza order) wasn't great, so I figured maybe it was just an off night. This time around, we ordered lemon pepper wings, garlic knots, and a half-and-half square pizza: pepperoni on one side and meat lovers on the other. The lemon pepper wings were the standout, really flavorful and easily my favorite part of the order. Not too greasy at all. The pizza was a big improvement too. The crust edges weren't burnt to a crisp and everything tasted fresh and well put together. That said, I wasn't a fan of the sausage on the meat lovers side, so I'd probably skip that next time. One thing I really appreciated was how accurate their pickup timing was. I showed up exactly when the order was supposed to be ready, and it actually was, no waiting around. Let me tell you these two slices taste completely different. Almost taste like they came from two different pizza shops. Which is good, that the can diversify, but at the same time if you order wrong, you might be dissapointed. Vodka Slice - Wow, amazing. SOOO much flavor, a lot going on, and just the right crispy to softness ratio. A slight spice to the sauce. They put a lot of care into this version of a pizza. Pepperoni - It was a fine NY slice of pepperoni pizza. Not too bland, but also not really "wow". It was very salty. Actually, both of them were quite salty, as I needed to drink a lot of water the rest of the day. It took 30 minutes of waiting for the slices, and they said it would be 2+ hours if I wanted a whole pizza. Is it good pizza? Yes. Is it worth waiting that long for? Maybe if you like to try new things. There are some places that are very close (and one place which is better) with much less of a wait time. The Vodka pizza here though is top tier!!!

I politely showed her my reservation which clearly said Dining Room (why even give customers the option if you're not going to seat them properly?) and she acted annoyed/put out. We had to wait an additional 25+ minutes for a table that we had reserved from the start. Finally around 9PM we are seated-- quickly we order two pastas and a pizza. We're told by the server that everything comes out once it's ready and I'm not exaggerating maybe 1-2 minutes later our pastas arrive at the table. A little strange, but whatever. We eat, enjoy the kind-of cold pasta (I believe this was a mess-up order or another table's, hence the speed and lack of warmth) and wait for our pizza. 20 minutes go by.... we finish our pasta. Still no pizza. We'd ordered a very simple white pizza. All around us other tables were getting their pizzas even though they ordered after us. I asked the server (who barely came to check on us throughout) what was going on and thrice she promised it was 'coming out of the oven.' They'd clearly forgotten our pizza, and I just wish they'd have been honest about that. Around 9:30PM, an HOUR after our reservation, we finally get the pizza. By this point I'm honestly ready to go-- especially because next to us are people who were sat and served INSTANTLY apparently because they know someone who works there. As an apology our server offered us free soft serve. While a nice gesture, the soft serve was given to us in the shittiest paper cups and it made a complete mess. We were not offered a price reduction or anything else, and didn't get out until after 10PM. This was the worst dining experience I've had in LA for years. Maybe ever. I kept trying to give the place the benefit of the doubt, but at every turn this was disappointing. The food is NOWHERE NEAR worth the annoyance you'll feel just getting through the reservation.

Chicken pieces were cooked tender, not dry and it was fully marinated in the pesto. Great fresh tastes of basil, Parmesan cheese and the pine nuts, one slice was enough to be a satisfying meal. Buuut, I didn't in this case, because I still had the oxtail! The beef was tender with a slight crispy edge and was served generously on the slice. Jalapeno slices add just the right amount of heat.
