Parking was overwhelming but we were highly favored and found street parking right away in front of Mamies. FYI There's meter parking all around. Also a Whole Foods parking lot across the street. I'm guessing some people park there too. There is definitely traffic, so be prepared. Establishment is beautiful, clean and friendly. The long lines can feel overwhelming but don't really last that long (we went on a Thursday @ lunchtime). I noticed that most locals order online and just do pickup - which is smart. I got the Viale de Guanciale (instead of the Viale de Parma bc I'm more partial to guanciale) and my boyfriend got the Colucci. Both sandwiches were wrapped very nicely and so so good! I preferred my sandwich because I loved the crunch from the pistachios and the sweetness that came from the jam. It was a good size - I only ate about half and saved the rest for later. I originally thought that the amount of guanciale was lacking but it was still an overall well balanced sandwich so I didn't mind while eating. I enjoyed the mushrooms that came in the Colucci but wanted more of the eggplant flavor to come through. For both, I could tell the quality of the ingredients itself and the freshness of the bread - which is KEY! I also got a nutella canelé (which I've never tried) and that was the perfect sweet treat to end off my meal. DEF RECOMMEND! Before you even come in, you can smell the focaccia baking. I've seen the famous sandwich on social media here at Mamie in West Hollywood. I was going to be in the area for work and decided to make sure I stopped in. Luckily I found some street parking and then I was able to place my order at the counter. And then after a short wait my sandwich I couldn't decide which sandwich to get. Next time I have to get the one with the stack of arugula in it. It's great that you're able to see the team members assemble sandwiches behind the counter. The decor was elevated sandwich shop bistro café. It's not the biggest store but look like a lot of people get their sandwiches to go. There are a couple of seats and tables inside, however, when I'm sure it's there lunch rush it might be hard to find. They seemed to want to rush us through and luckily we had previewed the menu before we arrived. These Tuscan style sandwiches are my favorite of all sandwich types. And my favorite is the mortadella with straciattella cheese and pistachio cream. The one thing that I really liked about their sandwiches was the bread. So glad to see a restaurant that appears to be thriving on this busy intersection in West Hollywood. When Mamie first opened there were very long lines to get in. The influence of TikTok is truly amazing, but is the food really that good? Came here on a Saturday afternoon with a friend about an hour before closing. The place was pretty busy but not crazy busy. The order line was moving quickly. We each ordered a sandwich with a bag of chips and a bottle of water. Just over $50 including gratuity. We received a number and found an inside table. Our sandwiches arrived within ten minutes and wrapped nicely in butchers paper. I ordered the Cardinal and my friend had the Caprese. See menu for description of sandwiches. They both were very fresh and tasty. The in-house made bread was buttery in taste and crunchy. Really good bread. My friends sandwich was vegetarian, and mine came with turkey. My only complaint is the small serving of turkey in my sandwich. A little less arugula and little more turkey would have been perfect. My friend loved his sandwich. We'll definitely come back and hope this restaurant sticks around for the long term. Very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is very clean and has a good energy to it. My one wish was that they gave a little bit more prosciutto as some of the other ingredients, especially the vegetables masked some of that amazing prosciutto taste. The dough for this bread is allowed to ferment for over 72 hours and you can tell they use really high quality ingredients here. I wish I could talk about the other food items more, but when I visited, I knew that I wanted one of their sandwiches... and a cappuccino. I ended up ordering the Di Parma. Once I saw the 18 month aged prosciutto and buratta, I knew I had to order it. Mind you it's not a cheap sandwich, but it's so tasty and they're definitely working with some costly, high quality ingredients. The ratio (bread to ingredient), flavors, and textures were all working in unison to make a great sandwich that I thoroughly enjoyed. The coffee was great as well. The place is not huge, but there's some seating inside and outside. It can get pretty busy early in the day on the weekends, which is when I went. Their Italian panini's are SO good! I'm so happy we got to try this place. It seems their volume is so high that they are constantly baking more bread for their sandwiches. Apparently they spend a lot of time making their panini. 72 hours of slow fermentation before it goes into the oven apparently! When you try it, you'll understand. It is otherwise a very busy place. There was a line that constantly stretched to the door. The inside can sometimes feel a little smoky from the baking but we got used to it. We go the Viale di Parma and the Cardinal.
