Horrible customer service. I was a regular customer, but the last meal I ordered had chewy, undercooked chicken that made me sick. I contacted management to inquire about a refund. I was told no, but that I would receive a free meal. I tried to redeem my free meal, but the manager had no recollection of ever speaking with me and said I am out of luck. Given that most people aren't eating out right now, I would expect better customer service. I won't be back. read more

I read about Fresh Fork in the Ceres Courier. Took the family to check it out. The first thing I noticed was that the place smelled fantastic! The smell of grilled meat is so intoxicating!! Next was how clean and well laid out it was. They've put in a lot of attention to the details, from big easy to follow LCD menu screens to the mosaic stone stripe on the walls. Even the dishes and utensils are biodegradable! A very polished feel for being newly opened. Now to the important part, the food. One word, Delicious! The same passion and care that went into the presentation is more than obvious here. You can choose between brown or white rice and either chicken or beef, or a combo of the two. The rice is fluffy the vegetables crisp and the meat tender and tasty. To top it all off they make their own sauce!!! It is optional but don't be a fool, get the sauce man! For a bit extra you can add avocado. Which for me is a gamble. I love avocado and have no issue paying extra to add it. The problem is I don't want a hard avocado. Subway is one of the worst for serving hard not fresh avocado. But Fresh Forks presentation was so good I trusted they knew what a good avocado was. Really good! Got tofu and steak. Steak is 2$ upcharge but is cooked well. Veggies include brocolli, carrots, & cabbage- parboiled and not overly cooked. The forkin sauce is pretty good and you can get it on the side. Medium sized portion was perfect for 2 meals for myself. read more

Just ok. It's affordable for the smallest bowl but for the same price you can make the same food at home. It's literally grilled meat and veggies. The sauce is vinegar based and honestly added nothing to the meal but moisture because you'll need it to consume your food to its entirety. The staff was friendly but they really overcharge for a half of an avocado. I'm willing to give it one more chance in the near future but for now I'll just grill my own food at home when the urge arises. read more

Great fresh taste with a simple menu, I had the Angus steak which was grilled to perfection, next time I want to try the chicken. The fork sauce was a great addition to the plate it's kinda a mix between katsu/teriyaki with a kick of spice. It's nice to have a healthier fresh option for food in the area. read more

I absolutely love the food here! It tastes so clean and so delicious. I love the option of adding an avocado to your bowl. I had never thought of doing that! The food is wonderful, the service is quick the only problem I would say is that it is really far out there. I live in Modesto so it will be hard for me to make it out there now that I don't work in Ceres. I really hate giving this place 3 stars :( but to be fair I gave it 2 tries.. only problem is the rice. That style rice just has to go... it's beyond soggy and just not good. The meat is delicious! So are the vegetables and salad that comes with the plate. I tasted the chicken the first time and I liked it. I thought the rice was not good so I went another day and was disappointed once again. The thing here is that the biggest portion in the plate is the rice.... it's just way over cooked and just not good. Please judge for yourself and give it a try though. As a college student, I sometimes get busy and eat out more then I would like to. Those weeks where I do go out a lot to eat, I try and make relatively healthy choices. Fresh Fork, is a great option if you are looking to eat out but want to make a more mindful choice. I had the salmon bowl and added avocado. My bowl was great and I loved their fork sauce. Happy to have found this place and will definitely return when I am looking to eat out but don't want traditional fast food. I have also had the steak bowl which was also really good. So I've ate here before but yesterday as I was taking a tasty video of my food to post, I noticed something brown but thought it was maybe just some old piece of lettuce maybe Brussels sprout. I had heard negative things about this place but still wanted to try it for myself. I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered a Fork'n Bowl with half chicken and half Angus streak. It comes with white rice(choice of white or brown), mixed veggies (choice of veggies or all broccoli), fresh 1/2 avocado (additional $1.50 charger) and fresh jalapenos (available upon request). The food is amazing!! Much better than the regular hole in the wall chicken bowl places in town. The rice was well cooked. Good portion for the price, however I wouldn't mind a little more rice. Only complaint is that the price has changed from what I saw on Yelp and the restaurant hasn't been open that long to have a $1 price change. The fork sauce is amazing!!
