The polish, the hot link, the all beef wiener, you really can't go wrong here. I haven't had any of their sandwiches or other offerings but I've heard great things. The pasta salad is homemade, tangy and tasty - my only compliant is that the order is so small and I keep wanting more. The real kicker here is the drinks! The sonic-type crushed iced and actual syrups to add to the soda is top tier and free refills, yes pls. My go to order is the hot link with no salsa, hot cheetos, cherry coke and a pickle. Isn't your mouth watering just reading that? Staff here is SO NICE! The line will be out the door and they are busting out orders with a big smile and asking about your day. I was in town do to a new job offer. So I had to swing by Main street footers to celebrate. The menu is massive, options for everyone. I ordered the #7 Bacon cheese footer. And let me tell you this bad boy was awesome!! The weiner had snap, diced onion, but not over done. A generous amount of cheese and a few slices of fresh tomato and bacon. All this was on a pillow of goodness they call a bun. And let me just say it was SO GOOD!! Each bite better than the last. And all washed down with some lemonade. The services was excellent, super friendly. But that's normal here. The inside seating hasn't changed in years. So it really a time capsule of great memories. The outside seating is great and is shaded by the trees that line Main st. This is one of those mom and pop places that have been around since I was a kid. Well over twenty five years. I got a chili cheese dog and was very satisfied with my order. The hot dog had very good flavor and had that nice crunch on the outside. The bread was soft and went well with the yummy chili. The service was a little weird. They were nice enough but you can tell others were regulars and I was not. Took me a minute but got along fine. This is a small shop that you order at the counter then return when it's ready. There are only a few places to sit but they have extra seating outside. Turlock main street is lovely. It is one of the best I've seen. There are people walking and many antique shops to explore. Stopping for a quick dog makes it a day. read more

I recently moved away from the Turlock area and I think I'll miss this place the most. Loved their hotdogs so much, it's such a wonderful place! I usually got an Avocado Dog and an Orange Fanta, oh my gosh such a perfect meal. The place fits right in with the quaint downtown area, and its very welcoming. Great food here. Can't go wrong with a classic chili cheese footer and the avocado footer was also great. You can change any hot dog for a hot link which is a bit spicy. My husband loved that switch. The pulled pork sandwich was good but a bit sweet so not everyone liked that. Definitely use the coleslaw on it to add some depth of flavor. Their fruit smoothies were made with real fruit and very refreshing on a hot day.
